PRESTIGE is in the perfect location for District 5 in Budapest. All important points of interest in Pest are in walking distance, while under 10 euros you can take a taxi for the Buda landmarks. Although we've paid for a standard room, we have been upgraded to a junior suite and that was a pleasant surprise! We highly recommend it!

This negative remark is for the taxi drivers, not the hotel. Every time, we hailed a taxi in a street they charged us 2 to 5 times higher than the taxis which are operating with an calling app. Friendly advise. Ask if they are accepting credit cards. If not, get another one. After few overcharges, we used the FoTaxi app and we were very pleased with their services.

Hotel was stunning and rooms were clean and comfortable.

Wouldn't eat in the restaurant. Felt we were given false infornation about the tasting menu which costed us 800euro. Very disapointing that items offered were not included and that we werent informed. They made it seem like it was part of the tasting menu. So becareful when offered things, as it seems like its included. I was asked if i wanted champagne with the waiter holding the glass, so naturally I thought they were offerring it to everyone. I was heavily charged for it. Except for the restaurant situation, the hotel was fabulous

The hotel is great and the location is very central. Our room was on the 6th floor facing the inner part of the hotel. Room was very clean, spotless! Every evening the room was cleaned again and information card with excepted weather was left on the bed with some chocolates. Fresh water and sparkling water was given daily in the room, which was nice.

3 things to improve: The mattress was way too hard. After couple of nights, it was hurting in some places and felt uncomfortable. The pillows are in bad shape and make the entire sleeping experience not the best one. Last thing.. the “big” towels in the bathroom are not big enough and felt cheap, very hard material and worn out.

Spacious and well designed contemporary room suite. Lots of space to walk around. Very clean and well maintained. Very quiet too. The location of the hotel is perfect. Within a short walking distance to various tourist sites such as St. Stephens Basilica, the Chain Bridge and the Danube river, and various cafes and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. The staff was extremely friendly and genuinely wished for their guests to have a comfortable and memorable stay. On the day we checked out, we had a early morning flight, and the staff packed us a breakfast to go. Excellent service! I'm definitely staying here again the next time I visit Budapest.

The bathroom was a little on the smaller side given how spacious the rest of the room was. But it was clean and well maintained.

This was a great place to stay in Budapest. It is on the Pest side of the river. We arrived on a Viking cruise and were staying a few extra days. It was a short walk from the spot where our ship docked. At the same time, it was also a short walk to restaurants, nightlife and attractions. One of the principal subway lines is also nearby. It was a great place to stay after our cruise on the Danube. As for the hotel itself, it was well-maintained with a friendly staff. The outside is unassuming but the lobby is spacious and the room was perfect. The breakfast was excellent and the internet worked well. All around, I highly recommend Prestige Budapest.

I can't think of anything that didn't meet a high standard. Our room was not large but everything was new and stylish. We didn't have any complaints.

Beautiful hotel, great location and good size room. Breakfast was good. Could have done with a separate bar area but still a 10/10. Couldn't find the jacuzzi, but didn't look that hard! Bonus is they come in and close your curtains for you, can't beat service like that! Lifts are very quick which is an added plus, no waiting around needed. Close to lots of restaurants and bars, 30 second walk to the river. 5 min walk to the local late night shop for wine, crisps and sweets etc. Minibar provided in room, free small water x2. You have to pay for the large bottle in the room. Free bottle a champagne as it was my birthday when we checked in.

In a very beautiful old building that's been restored -- looks great. Location is excellent -- many sidewalk cafes and ped streets and parks very near, and is about 2-3 blks in different directions to Parliament, waterfront and Chain Bridge. 5- minute walk to trams and metro. Couple nice parks close by. Neighborhood is nice -- quiet street is a big plus for a large city and seemed very safe. Close to many activities and places to see. Room is a little smaller than we expected and a little pricey, but very nicely appointed and the breakfast was excellent. Staff communicated well and set up very good car transportation for us to the airport after our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Just a little expensive for our budget but was a great find and served our needs very well.

Elegant building. Great location. Immaculately maintained. Quiet and calm ambience which absolutely suited us as we wanted a relaxing stay where we could sleep without traffic noise, noise and disturbance from poor room soundproofing etc. This hotel was perfect. The staff, without exception, were professional and helpful. It was my birthday during our stay and a bottle of bubbly was sent to our room. A lovely touch and much appreciated. We had breakfast included and that was good.

My only comment would be that the background music played during breakfast was “boom boom”. Minor complaint but it really was not welcome and I would have thought totally unnecessary for that time of day.

Today we are leaving Budapest after a lovely 9 days. We have stayed in all sorts of accommodation all over the world but if anyone is coming for a holiday to Budapest I highly recommend Prestige Hotel Budapest. It is well located and I could not fault anything. The room, cleanliness, the staff, the service it was all fantastic. We got in the taxi and headed to the airport. 150 metres down the road when the taxi slowed down suddenly the manager of the hotel appeared at the window and handed me my husband's Norwegian neck warmer. This guy (I think his name was Mathias) had found it in the lobby and had surmised that it must have fallen out of his pocket because we had told him we had been in Norway before arriving in Hungary and he must have recognised the Norwegian flag 🇳🇴 design. This guy was dressed in tails and sprinted 150 metres down the road after a taxi. We have never heard of such a thing. Amazing service. All three day-time concierge staff were exceptional.

The location was very good, the staff was friendly and happy to help. The room was very clean and included a lot of facilities that made the experience nice.

We firstly received a room which was on the side with a night club and we could hear the bass when trying to sleep. We told the staff next day and they gave us another room which fixed this problem. However, there was another noise problem in both of the rooms: There was a lot of echo from the building interior, especially when a large group of people entered the reception, and we had a room on the 3rd floor. Also we could sometimes here at night the water through the pipes or the minibar. If you sleep with earplugs or you are a deep sleeper, maybe these problems will not apply to you. The staff was kind enough to offer a free airport shittle at the end of our stay, so we appreciated that.
