The location is hard to beat. So so convenient. The room is spacious and clean, the breakfast is abundant and fresh.

Payed a lot because it was formula 1 weekend but I guess all hotels in the city had raised their prices for this particular time period.

The location is excelent next to metro,tram and bus stations next to the river,central squares and fashion market streetwalk.Also note the hotel is accessible with a 10 min. walk from 100e bus in case using public transportation from the airport. Everything was easily accessible on foot as well in case someone does not want to use public transportation or car(max 25min. walk). Breakfast had a big variaty of foods to eat which was worth to buy. The room was soundproof, had a big window for natural light and a big clean bathroom with all the necesary basic staff. The beds where very comfortable and the aircondition was fuctioning perfectly.

Room was small, but clean, quiet, and comfortable. Lots of storage. Hotel is in great location - 2 blocks from Danube and Chain Bridge, easy walk to Parliament, near Metro and Airport Express bus, and many restaurants and stores (recommend Dunacorso restaurant a few blocks away). Breakfast was good except for coffee machine dispenses very small portions. Staff was helpful and accommodating with early check-in issue. Good value for this area for what I paid.

Not good toiletries supplied, just shower gel/shampoo all in one. Need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Coffee machine at breakfast calibrated to only give one third cup, even on the coffee setting (not espresso).

-kinda small room -tv is useless, you have 10 channels and they are all local, nothing in english -there is a paper that you can complete with things you might need and they will give it to you theoretically(slippers, shampoo etc), in fact thoose never came to us -they charge you 15% for service at the bar for everything, even if they only give you a bottle of water. Basicly overprice to overpriced.

The D8 hotel is spotlessly clean, the bedrooms are compact, they are cleaned to a high standard, towels and linen changed daily. Good pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. Would be nice to have a kettle in the room, 15euro for 4 teas in bar, pricy when u like alot of tea . Great central location, minutes to chain Bridge and all attractions and right beside the shopping area. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Good selection on breakfast buffet, pastries, ham/cheese/cereals and saysages and scrambled or boiled eggs. Would highlyrecommendstaying here..

No kettle in room

Staff was really lovely. Friendly and helpful Place was really clean. Very comfy bed. Bathroom super clean and great shower. Amazing location. Close to the river, close to the bridge to cross the river, close to tourist boats, close to fashion street. close to the shop and close to restaurants. I mean perfect location. Nice breakfast. Very nice place. We had an issue with he TV (which for me is not a big deal) and even though i texted through the booking.com application very late I got a reply within 5 min that's a great customer service.

I know it says the room size online but it was little small. I slept next to window and most of the time when i was getting up i would hit my leg on the bed corner. Little tight that space. There was a little desk in the corner really wish it wasn't there. Also wish there would be some water in the room and a mini fridge and better lighting in the bathroom. But i would recommend this place.

- very friendly staff; - the location is very close to many restaurants and other attractions; - although the room and bathroom are very small, they are very well equipped and the space is optimized to the maximum. For example, the shower is very large and spacious. The bedroom is equipped with everything necessary; - although I will write about the beds below, as the sum of pleasant and not so pleasant things, this hotel is exactly as it presents itself, maybe even a little higher. And the way they managed to use the little space they allocated for the rooms only shows professionalism.

I wouldn't have included the information here because it's not really a negative, but the beds are a bit narrow and you risk falling parts of your body on the floor. But don't worry, you don't have room to fall completely because the space between the beds is small :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at D8 Hotel! The location is unbeatable – just steps away from the Christmas market and Vaci Street, making it ideal for shopping and soaking in the festive atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options, with something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was friendly and accommodating, further enhancing our experience. We would highly recommend D8 Hotel to anyone visiting Budapest, whether for leisure or business. Excellent location, very near all the major attractions on the Pest side, also near metro, bus stop and shopping area, lots of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was a good spread with lot of variety and continuously refilled. Large eating area so it doesnt get too crowded. Staff were always willing to help. Clean comfortable rooms and safe for a solo woman traveller. Hotel arranged airport pick up and transfer.

Nothing much to say here, the staff at reception didnt know where the nearest post box was, and sent me on a 10min walk. I later found one just outside the hotel.

The D8 Hotel boasts a fantastic location and incredibly kind staff, making it a convenient choice for exploring the city. We arrived early and, unfortunately, had to wait a while for our room as the hotel was fully booked. While understandable, it would have been a nice touch if the staff had reminded us about the included breakfast. We arrived while breakfast was being served, and it would have been helpful if the staff had checked if we wanted to partake. Sadly, we had to leave early the next morning and missed out. The room itself was decent, but could have been better maintained. Despite these points, the D8 Hotel's convenient location and friendly staff make it a decent option. With a little more attention to detail and guest communication, it could be even better.
