The staff are so professional, very helpful and they really couldn't do enough for you. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the bar did a great dirty vodka martini. Very comfortable bed too. A truly first-class hotel.

Very easy to forget you're not actually a millionaire! Lol.

Location was excellent in the center of everything. The bed was dreamy comfy to die. The shower is a bit small but there is an additional bathtub.

Excellent location in center of town. Super friendly and helpful staff. Amazing quality of food in the signature Italian restaurant and also with the breakfast. Very clean and well maintained rooms and facilities.

Usually, no matter how great a hotel is, you can always find small flaws—but not at the Ritz Carlton Budapest. This hotel is truly a gem in every aspect. Every department, without exception, operates at the highest level of excellence, setting a standard that is hard to match. A big thank you goes to Amey, the Assistant Restaurant Manager, for his warm and exceptional service. His hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. His proactiveness and warm attitude added a personal touch to our breakfast experience, making us feel relaxed and completely at home. On our last day, we were pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful gesture—a beautifully arranged fruit platter, accompanied by a heartfelt message from Amey expressing the pleasure of meeting us. It was a perfect reflection of the personalized care and attention this hotel provides. We also had the pleasure of engaging with Mr. Istephan, the Concierge,his passion for his role is evident, and we truly enjoyed the meaningful conversations we had together. The entire team at the Ritz Carlton Budapest goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for. I mean it's the Ritz, so you can only expect fabulous. The room was incredibly spacious. We traveled with our 4 yo and 8 yo, they were kind enough to set up a cot us as well to allow everyone to have a fabulous night rest. The staff were incredibly helpful in arranging taxi's to and from the Grand Prix, lovely to the kids, providing them stuffies and a folder with stickers and colouring sheets. The breakfast was over the top, a beautiful spread and incredibly delicious. Overall the front desk staff and waitstaff were very kind and accommodating to us. The space is gorgeous.

The only issue we had was with the women working at the bar, I'm not sure if it was because we were with kids, my husband and I wanted to have a cocktail prior to heading out for dinner and we stood at the bar, she didn't acknowledge us and even turned to serve another group as they approached the bar. When I said "excuse me, we were hear first and we have been waiting to order", her response was "sorry I didn't see you" --which is highly unlikely when you have 2 kids with you. We asked to order a drink and she said it would take 30 min --clearly she did not want us there.

It is in a fantastic location for shopping restaurants and sight seeing . They have a lovely breakfast - we chose the a la carte. The room was very beautifully appointed with great bed linen and towels. The staff are very helpful and friendly .

It is the first time in all our travels we have been charged for checking in early . A whopping 165 Euros! We totally understand getting charged for a late check out for all the obvious reasons but how do you charge for coming early . The hotel either has the room ready or not and it was empty at the hotel as well so no doubt there were many made up rooms ,

The hotel is absolutely fantastic, but the 5 stars go especially to the amazing women on the staff! The ladies at the reception are incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything. The girls working at breakfast are also wonderful, so friendly, attentive, and genuinely sweet. A special thank you to the lovely girl at the entrance of the breakfast, who welcomes guests and assigns tables. She is truly warm, cheerful, and kind, she made every morning feel more welcoming with her attitude!

Breakfast was very good. In addition to items from the menu, they brought avocado as a side dish for an omelet, as well as beans, without any problems. Honey in combs is a special love, very tasty! The staff is wonderful. The cleaning is excellent. The room was very beautiful and comfortable. Corner room facing East, it was magical to wake up to the first rays of the sun and hear the main clock on the square every hour. Budapest is a magical city.

There is one wish, but it does not apply to the hotel, but to the Italian restaurant at the hotel. The restaurant is quite dirty (for example, the coffee machine is very dirty and the coffee is not tasty). And half of the dishes on the menu were not available to order. We had to dine at outside restaurants, but we didn’t regret it. The hotel itself is gorgeous! The restaurant is not the main thing.

The location was as good as it gets in our opinion. It was so clean and had luxury furniture everywhere. The breakfast was probably the best we have ever had.

Perhaps for a high end hotel, a few of the staff were not at the top of their game e.g. whilst having breakfast you get an a la carte menu for the hot dishes, we had to eventually ask them if we could order it otherwise it wouldn’t have happened , although when we received it the food was of fine quality. Did get a couple of room service requests wrong although they did rectify asap. These are very minor things.

The location was very good, very walkable for my visit. Most Ritz are usually very nice so it was. I e joyed my view from my room looking at the ferris wheel and St. Stephen's Basilica.

Wasn't crazy about the food in the breakfast area. Only an Italian restaurant behind that. Would have like a little coffee shop for just coffee or a pastry.
