The bathroom door lock wasn’t working, we didn’t really report it, I’m sure they would’ve fixed it immediately

It was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Check in was great. Staff were really friendly. Room was clean and they had soft pillows! This is a must for me as I rarely sleep when staying in hotels as the pillows are hard. Great choice at breakfast and lots of it. They also had help yourself tea and coffee in reception area, which was fabulous. Location great and in walking distance of all the main attractions. Thoroughly recommend.

We felt comfortable overall, and most aspects of our stay were pleasant. However, there are a few points I'd like to mention: First, the parking is not free, despite this being indicated at the time of booking. We were charged €60 for two days at the nearby parking. Secondly, reaching the hotel by car was quite difficult. The surrounding streets are blocked by barriers, and unless you already know to use the nearby public parking, it's nearly impossible to access the hotel directly. We ended up circling the area multiple times trying to find the entrance. I strongly recommend removing the misleading information about free parking from your listing, as it’s not accurate. Additionally, the rooms are very small for the price of €203 per night. A size of only 20m², even by Budapest standards, feels overpriced. The breakfast offers variety, but there’s nothing particularly exceptional to justify the high cost. On a positive note, the staff was very professional, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job.

Very good location, very clean, the room adequately large and satisfactory amenities

Booked one additional night before we moved into a suite. Stamdard rooms were great as well, looked even newer than the suites. Especially the AC workse bette than in the suites. Good breakfast, good beda, friwndly staff. Reasonable price considering the quality received.

Room was small. Fine to stay in for sleeping but not to ‘hang around’ in. Guess that is to be expected from a city hotel.

This is my 2nd visit in 15 months. I actually upgraded to a junior suite !!! Absolutely luxurious for only an extra £20 a night. One of the best city break hotels I have stayed in from all over Europe. Spotless, luxurious, most friendliest staff I have ever met. Best location in centre but very quiet and still private. 5 mins from Danube, shops, restaurants and easy to catch transport to attractions. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough to anyone visiting Budapest. More like a 5 star hotel!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Emerald Hotel in Budapest for five days and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel's location was ideal, situated in the heart of Budapest, allowing us to easily explore the city's vibrant attractions and cultural landmarks. Our room was comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated. The attention to detail was evident, and the room boasted modern amenities that ensured a convenient and relaxing stay. The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were always available to assist us with any questions or requests we had, providing excellent service and help to us. They thought of everything, since they have options for renting umbrellas on rainy days, warm drinks and water in the lobby providing free refills! The hotel also has luggage storage to keep your luggage and any personal items. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's breakfast. The food was simply outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options to eat. Last but not least, the overall ambiance of the Emerald Hotel was elegant and refined, creating a serene environment that complemented our getaway. The attention to detail in the hotel's design and decor added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. In conclusion, our time at the Emerald Hotel in Budapest was truly exceptional. From the impeccable service to the comfortable accommodations and outstanding dining options, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable experience in Budapest. We look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel was in a great location very central in Budapest. Great for getting around the city also only a 5 minute walk from the AirPort Express bus stop. The room was very clean and modern and the bathroom was equally as nice. The staff were extremely helpful and willing to help with any request. The free coffee station in lobby is a fabulous addition. Everything about this hotel is great. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and hopefully return ourselves one day! Fabulous stay.

Everything was perfect the only issue we had was the shower kept flooding the bathroom due to poor drainage and the seal wasn’t across the entire bottom of the glass. We did speak to staff and they came and sorted the drainage straight away which made it a lot better!

The Emerald Hotel & Suites is a great hotel right in the heart of Pest. We were lucky enough to be upgraded from our booked junior suite to a higher quality suite and it was fantastic. Very luxurious! Apart from that the hotel was wonderful - nice bar for an evening drink and/or a snack, great breakfast and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better. The location is excellent too, very handy to lots of shops and great restaurants and also to lots of the sights.

The bed was a little on the hard side but that was the only issue and a very minor one.
