The hotel preparethe breakfast early in the morning for our return flight which is exceptional

All in all I was very satisfied with the hotel, affordable price, good facilities, nice and very attentive personnel. Breakfast was more than sufficient. The only two aspects I would like to mention for other travelers is that there is not elevator to room floors and several steps should be climbed, not an issue in my case, but it may be important for others. The second remark is regarding location, it is very convenient, 5 min walking distance from city center, just note that the street where it is located is a pedestrian area where most of the shops are closed down, so it may be a bit solitary, but I never felt unsafe walking there.

The daily cleaning service in the room could improve

The hotel was in a very convenient location. I easily reached it from the airport with just one bus. During my stay, I didn’t need to use any transportation, as everything was within walking distance. At the reception, a lovely woman greeted me warmly and even offered guidance about the city if needed. She was very sweet. My room was slightly dim, but since I spent the whole day outside, it didn’t bother me. I stayed in a very cozy, clean, and well-organized room. I had no issues with TV, internet, hot water, or anything else. It was a very comfortable stay. I had chosen an accommodation option with breakfast included. There’s an employee named Garbo in the restaurant—please meet him! He’s a wonderful person and his thoughtful recommendations about food choices were a delightful touch. The breakfast was rich, satisfying, and delicious. One day, I even spent hours at the breakfast table because it was so enjoyable. Their coffee machines make fantastic coffee, and the marmalades were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was very elegant and pleasant. In the evenings, you can dine at the hotel’s restaurant at reasonable prices, but I didn’t try it because there was a Christmas market nearby. I preferred to experience Hungarian cuisine there instead. For my future trips, I will definitely choose this place again.

The hotel is just perfect, everything was more then we wanted. We had really very comfy stay in this hotel. The rooms are very clean and warm, the beds very comfortable, the location is just perfect, in the city center, close to the attractions and the public transport, the breakfast - very tasty. The staff was very nice and polite, I don't remember the name of the girl with long dark hair from the reception when we checked in, but she was super nice and polite, very smily and friendly. Gabriel from the restaurant, who work very hard, was very friendly and helpful. Thank you all for our unforgettable holiday in Hungary!🙂

The staff is really pleasant and helpful. The room is very big with a lot of space and everything that you need (towels etc) and is clean. The breakfast has a lot of choices and it's made at the moment, so it's very fresh. Location is amazing, near the city center and a lot of attractions.

If I need to choose something, it would be that it's old fashioned (old wooden furniture) and it doesn't have an elevator, but I wouldn't say it's something I don't like, I didn't mind at all.

the room was quite nice and clean, above my expectations for 3-star hotels. The receptionist was polite and helpful. Finally, the location is extremely good, especially for the price.

Two minor inconveniences about the room: (i) the double bed was just built by stacking two single-size mattresses next two each other; the two beds splat apart multiple times during the night, making sleeping quite uncomfortable. (ii). The heating system was not working. I guess the central heating was off since my stay was in spring, and I am sure this would not be the case in winter. However, it would be nice to be able to warm the room up even in the spring on such cold days as the ones during my stay.

The location was good. Very handy for the Metro and hop-on hop off bus. Very close to the city centre. The staff was really good and helpful. Especially Victoria and another female staff (my apologies for not catching her name - she was on duty around 1600 on Friday)

No tea/coffee facilities in the room or the gym. But then you can understand it for the price paid

Perfect location, right in the center Best coffee ☕️ in town Breakfast had all you need. Gabèr, the cookman, who prepared the breakfast, is the best and most helpful employee I've ever met in a hotel . Viki , in the reception gave us very good information. The owners also helpfull and polite . If we'll visit Budapest again is our one way place to stay .

Since I am a solo traveler (female/over 65 yo), I appreciate feeling safe, welcome, and valued. Pilvax Hotel was outstanding in meeting my needs. Great location, nice breakfàst, friendly and professional staff. Especially Gabor, Eva,& Anne in the breakfast. Also Timor (desk clerk) . Who needs an elevator? We need the exercise!

I had a nice stay at Pilvax Hotel Budapest. The location is good — right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for exploring Budapest. The hotel itself is simple but exactly what I needed. My room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
