The hotel is like an oasis in the city. It is very welcoming with its courtyard. The lobby is stylishly decorated and provided free coffee/tea/water and apples and with big comfy sofas - made it very comfortable and this was before you get to your room. The room itself was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Shower was nice. Breakfast was good enough with a nice range of items. The location was really fantastic - walkable to many places. I would definitely stay here again if returning to Budapest and will recommend it to anyone who is going to Budapest.

The negative has nothing to do with the hotel itself - but the address is wrong in booking.com (1052 Budapest, Petőfi Sándor utca 17., Hungary) - so the taxi (booked via booking.com) dropped us off on the wrong street at the entrance of Emerald Residences (which is not the hotel). This led to confusion and a five minute walk with luggage. I later learned there is absolutely no point in getting a taxi through booking.com - taxis are plentiful and you can use Bolt app. But even in Bolt - the hotel address was the Emerald Residences, so I had to manually always type in the actual address of the hotel. The actual address is 1052 Budapest, Városház utca 20.

A contemporary building (just a few in Budapest) with nice facilities, relaxed, quiet, nice details in the interior design with many amenities also and a Huge room! Walking distance to everywhere but also near the metro station and the tram station of you prefer them instead of walking! I suggest to try the bicycles. Very cheap and they are everywhere! We didn't regret staying here instead of a neoclassical building.

Everything. Great location - central to everything in Budapest but still quiet! The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were spacious and the reception (and everything else) was really well decorated.

Nothing really. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast is pretty expensive, but it's optional so you can go to one of the many nearby cafe's to get something to eat.

The hotel was simply perfect. Great and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast and service overall. The location is in the very city centre which made it really easy to explore the city and get wherever we needed to. The room was big, with modern yet cozy design and a perfect view. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, it’s perfect for a work trip as well as family vacation.

Hotel really central to main shopping area and beside square where the main Xmas market is held. We had an apartment with a balcony. It was great size although the kitchen area was only a sink …no facility to cook anything. This wasn’t an issue for us but someone booking an apartment might think it should. Hotel spotless and staff all lovely. Would recommend

The room was very large and well designed, the location is amazing, the staff high serviceebility

The bed wasn't so comfortable, the pillows were small and felt sintetic, and the blanket was small, yet, the staff immediately tried to improve the situation and brought us double size blankets. I think it's important that the bed would be comfy and inviting in a gotel room.

We did get upgraded to a room with a balcony, which was nice. The room is very large (especially by European standards). Very nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The common areas were also lovely and comfortable. (Their luggage storage lockers are fabulous - all hotels should have them. You get your own locker and combination!)

Large comfortable room and premises that are well looked after. The breakfast was extensive and we were not sick of it despite having it for 4 days - we quite enjoyed juicing our own grapefruit.
