The location of the hotel is just excellent, so you can reach everywhere on foot without using public transport. The staff is amazing and very helpful, any time of the day, you need any help, assistance, or request. The airco in the room can be switched on and off, so you can control your room temperature yourself. Easily reachable from the airport by bus 100E. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street with lots of shops if you're planning to go shopping. The internet is good enough if you're planning to work.

Nothing, all was good, and I will definitely stop at this hotel next time when traveling to Budapest.

Promenade City Hotel is one of those classic European boutique hotels set in a centuries old building. It's a hidden gem slipped into the perfect area for sight-seeing Budapest. It’s wonderful, Retro but yet also modern, in a great location on the Pest side of Budapest. Situated in a lively, energetic area just blocks from City Market and the Jewish Quarter with easy access to restaurants, cafes, and transit or walking to Museums and the Parliament Building. Room was spacious, very comfortable, well-appointed European modern furniture and included a nice refrigerator. Staff was wonderful. At check-in, Peter, made us feel welcomed and saw to our needs and concerns for the next days’ travel and assisted us with luggage storage while we toured the city prior to check-in. It included a great continental breakfast where we were helped by Kira.

Good location. Closed to town and all The shops nearby. Easy to get to public transport. Nice and clean. Staffs very friendly, 24hours staff on duty. Very happy with the hotel. Breakfast room was a bit small and not a lot of choices but it dose the job for the price

Room 506. Bathroom have this bad sewage smell!!! I had to buy air freshener to spray in bathroom constantly. I didn’t complain as I couldn’t be bother to pack up my stuff to change rooms if there is spare room. I guess there’s nothing they could do as I have seen some other reviews mentioned this as well.

Great location, comfortable bed and good breakfast. There were some reviews saying the breakfast it’s not good but it’s not the case. There were sausages, potatoes, boiled and scrambled eggs, vegetables, cheese, fruits. Coffee and tea. I will choose the same next time.

We had the room at the 2nd floor with the window on the interior part of the building so there was little natural light. But this led to a very peaceful and long sleep. The toiled was not bright clean but this can be solved easily as the stuff is very helpful.

The location can't be beat, We enjoyed all the shops and restaurants just outside the hotel. The hotel is only accessible via foot as the street outside is pedestrian only. We found this to be a bonus and is not a problem because the hotel is very near the corner where you can get a Bolt or taxi or easily walk to public transit. We really enjoyed the breakfast. There were plenty of choices and the food was of good quality. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated having the refrigerator in the room.

The only negative things. I can say about our stay was that the bath tub / shower was a little awkward. The tub was an odd shape. It was also very deep, requiring you to make a quite a large step in and out. This was not a issue for us but if you have any kind of mobility issues, it could be a problem. The shower was a handled wand that didn't stay in its holder properly and wasn't tall enough. This made it hard to shower and we found that water would get all over the bathroom because the glass door wasn't sufficient. This was overall a small issue and would not stop me from recommending the hotel. We also would have enjoyed it if the room could have gotten a bit cooler but again this was a minor issue.

The location is perfect. It's wonderful being on a pedestrian Street. For the price, it was an exceptional value, and the staff was very friendly. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of natural light.

The bathroom was a little awkward in our room, and the breakfast was just average. Without careful attention, water sprayed everywhere in the bathroom, which was especially difficult if you're on the taller side. The breakfast was fine. Nothing really jumped out at me. The biggest disappointment where the pastries always felt a little old.

The hotel is very central and accessible for someone with mobility restrictions. There was enough room to have the mobile scooter in the room without taking up too much space. Breakfast was generous and the staff were very helpful.

To make it easier for people with a scooter or wheelchair, small rubber ramps could be placed in the public areas where there are small lips/raised areas, for example traveling from the lift to the breakfast room.

The room was nice and spacious, with good facilities including a fridge and pod coffee machine. The breakfast was a good, continental-style buffet and very tasty. The staff were always nice and willing to help out, especially with luggage storage. Location is near a lot of restaurants and it is a short train and walk from the main train station.

There was no kettle or tea. Some peppermint tea and a kettle would have made the stay beyond perfect. Really a minor complaint though.

Location was the best, we walked everywhere and didn't have to use the public transport - not even once. The breakfast was great, in our case it was not too crowded since we're early birds but some people did have to wait their turn for others to finish their breakfast.

The bed was a little bit questionable for me. The pillows wasn't that comfortable and I was beaten by some insects - they are still all over my body. I'm suspecting the bedbugs although I didn't even see one in the bed. So I'm not 100% sure of that. Maybe flies, I don't know.

The location was perfectly situated. So many places were right outside the hotel. 5 minute walk to the Danube. 5 minute walk to the subway. 1 minute walk to the city center where all of the restaurants & shopping were. Very safe location day & late night. Breakfast was great. Good variety including hot items with plenty of protein. Coffee, espresso & cappuccino included. Basically a small boutique hotel in the middle of very expensive upscale larger hotels. Staff was very nice & helpful.
