Location was excellent, walking distance to main attractions, very good for public transport and many cafes and restaurants. 10 minute walk to airport bus. The double room was very spacious, with several chairs and table, felt better than a standard hotel room. Bed was very comfortable.

Nothing I didn’t like. I will definitely stay here if I visit Budapest again. But a few cautions: street noise may annoy some people, even though it fades at night. And the bathroom is a little bit small (shower was perfect) if you need to close the door.

• A lovely welcome with a drink, candies, and neatly folded towels — such a charming and thoughtful touch. • The room had everything I needed for a one-night stay, despite being compact. • The bathroom was well-heated — even a bit warm — which was a pleasant surprise, especially since many places in Europe can be chilly due to energy saving. • The window offered a view of picturesque rooftops, which added to the charm of the stay. • Bold and vibrant interior design in colors I personally love, adding a cheerful and stylish vibe. • Excellent location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Having a Lidl just steps away from the property was a big plus for convenience. • Great value for money, with a good balance of price, amenities, and design. • The 24/7 reception was very convenient and allowed me to resolve any issues, even late at night.

• There was no elevator to the reception, and carrying heavy suitcases up and down multiple times was challenging. If you’re traveling light, this won’t be an issue, but for those with large luggage, it’s worth considering. • The building is historic and beautiful, but being old, it has some natural wear and tear. It’s not a place to expect modern renovations or spotless perfection, but it adds character to the stay.

I have stayed here before and I chose it again for its perfect location and the view from the balcony. It has metro station just outside the door, a LIDL, Starbucks, bakeries and pizza on the ground floor. 10min walking to city centre, very easy access to trams, buses and of course the underground. Large bed, comfy pillows, good value for money

Very slow check in process at reception desk, and it was not the employe's fault because I had the same issue the previous time I stayed there. Maybe it's their software. Also, the batrhoom was outdated. The shower doors had rust below them, the sink was broken and glued

Excellent value for money. We loved the grandeur and pomp of the entrance and the stair case up to the room. Some people have commented that the entrance to the building and reception is dated, but the building was a former royal residence which has been converted to a hotel, and we felt that this just added to the atmosphere and appeal of the building. The rooms are kitted out to a high standard. There is a kitchen area which quests can use to make yea and coffee etc once they have vacated their rooms and are waiting to leave for the airport/transfers etc. Free mini-bottle of champagne was also a nice touch!

The outside door to the building can be a bit fiddly. There is no bar or restaurant attached to the building - which would be handy - but is not a deal breaker.

Clean and comfy with nice staff, the building is really beautiful and very old. The room was just the right size with a coffee maker water jug and fridge. Plenty of storage for clothes and a safe too. We got a balcony and the view was really lovely. The hotel is on the Pest side of the country and close to lots and lots of bars and Restaurants as well as shops and supermarkets. Lidl next door to the hotel is extremely cheap for bits and bobs. And you are only 20 mins walk from most attractions. And the buda side is a five minute walk across the white bridge which is a few mins walk via the underpass and the street...the thermal baths are amazing to and 10/10

The location was PERFECT! It can get pitch black with the blinds/metal shutter and curtains! It can be pretty quiet, but bring along a pair of earplugs and it'll be even better! The cleaning staff were so cute and friendly and helpful for the most part! The champagne bottle was so cute and lovely! Thank you! What a nice welcome. The manager was protective and for our safety staying there and how to use the hotel well - I really appreciated that. All the staff at the reception were really really really superb individuals and offered superb service and help with anything and everything. I didn't feel like I was bothering them to get some help. They seemed very genuine. On another note, Hungarian people are some of the nicest kind calm helpful genuinely sweet open people I've ever met around this world. Bravo... <3

The bed was a great size (King US = doubles in Europe = nice and big), but it was very not flat. It was like the rolling waves of the ocean. Up on the sides, then way down, then way high in the middle, then down again, then up again on the other side. I slept right in the middle because I was by myself on the high area, so that was doable, but just fyi, hotels are in the business of sleeping, so the bed - where we do the sleeping - should be the #1 priority. :) Room 407, the shower water drain wasn't draining quickly. I dunno if there is something stuck in there, but... the water would only slowly go down the drain, so you're standing in a bit of water while showering which is not that comfortable because you don't know what you're standing in kind of. Hard to explain.

Excellent location. Room very nice within a historic building. The rooms are nice, clean and new/updated. The rest of the building (entrance, elevator etc) are a bit outdated and lack maintenance, but it is understandable considering the very big and old building. Room has AC, boiler, fridge. They left us a champagne as courtesy. They clean the rooms everyday. The hotel has a reception with a convenient kitchen, luggage store, friendly staff. I highly recommend it!

A fantastic location, perfect for getting to all the sights. A amazing old building, I loved it. Metro and buses so very close. Easy to reach from the airport bus stop.Good shops and restaurants. Room a little small, but for the price it was good, pillow a little high but that’s just my preference as I like thin pillows. Great modern bathroom. If I visit. again I will upgrade to a room with a balcony. Very nice welcome gift of champagne. Friendly staff. Many thanks.

Great place, located very central in Pest, 5 min walk to the river side. A bus and subway stop directly in the near as well as a supermarket. Very vivid area with many restaurants and bars. The hotel is located in a beautiful old building, it is easy to find and the people are very nice and friendly. There is an elevator available and the reception is there 24/7. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing!

Close to all amenities, easy to get around to the major spots in all of Budapest. Looks like a new boutique hotel, clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel! Staff were very friendly, organised a small get-together for the Christmas season while we were staying there, which I thought was a lovely gesture. Thank you so much!
