Wow! The hotel is located on the 4th floor of a beautiful historic building that did not disappoint. There is a lift from the ground floor to the rooms, however we often took the stairs simply to admire the beauty of our surroundings. The room was spacious and clean, including the bathroom. We appreciated the sweet touch of complimentary champagne and chocolate, as well as the coffee replaced every day. The location was also excellent, walking distance from most sights and restaurants and well connected via public transport too. Staff allowed us to store our luggage in the luggage room before and after check in, which although stared with the hostel, the room is locked and only opened by reception. Overall, the perfect stay in Budapest. Will definitely return should we revisit :)

Location was excellent, walking distance to main attractions, very good for public transport and many cafes and restaurants. 10 minute walk to airport bus. The double room was very spacious, with several chairs and table, felt better than a standard hotel room. Bed was very comfortable.

Nothing I didn’t like. I will definitely stay here if I visit Budapest again. But a few cautions: street noise may annoy some people, even though it fades at night. And the bathroom is a little bit small (shower was perfect) if you need to close the door.

The location was brilliant. The room was lovely. We were welcomed with a small bottle of fizzy wine and a couple of truffles, which was a nice touch. We had a double on the top floor (4) with a small balcony that looked onto some beautiful buildings across the road. The room had a good size fridge and a safe which was easy to use. We booked gellert baths with the staff and they lent us towels to take there which was a big help. Although it was on a fairly busy road, the sound didn't really bother us during the night on the top floor.

Only issue we had was the air con never really cooled the room and was more like a fan. We did report it on check out and the staff said they would get maintenance to check it out, but reading other reviews, it seems it doesn't go below 23°.

All tourist destinations could be reached on foot (I would walk to places up to 40 minutes). I saw some reviews that said you shouldn't use this hotel because the building is shared with other facilities, but I didn't find any problems with that. The door to the building is shared but the corridor door was locked as well as the room door. The room was comfortably furnished, with small but useful features such as a charging outlet at the bedside and a mirror with a chair in front of it.

The water provided in a pitcher in the room was not used, assuming it would be tap water. It would have been better if bottled water had been provided instead. The safe in my room was not working and was not repaired during my three-night stay, so it was disappointing that I had to carry things to put in the safe all day while I walked around and did sightseeing.

• A lovely welcome with a drink, candies, and neatly folded towels — such a charming and thoughtful touch. • The room had everything I needed for a one-night stay, despite being compact. • The bathroom was well-heated — even a bit warm — which was a pleasant surprise, especially since many places in Europe can be chilly due to energy saving. • The window offered a view of picturesque rooftops, which added to the charm of the stay. • Bold and vibrant interior design in colors I personally love, adding a cheerful and stylish vibe. • Excellent location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Having a Lidl just steps away from the property was a big plus for convenience. • Great value for money, with a good balance of price, amenities, and design. • The 24/7 reception was very convenient and allowed me to resolve any issues, even late at night.

• There was no elevator to the reception, and carrying heavy suitcases up and down multiple times was challenging. If you’re traveling light, this won’t be an issue, but for those with large luggage, it’s worth considering. • The building is historic and beautiful, but being old, it has some natural wear and tear. It’s not a place to expect modern renovations or spotless perfection, but it adds character to the stay.

Beautiful property located behind Aldi. The prior reviews set us up to expect a property that is behind shops but once inside it had a unique charm. David and the lady behind the counter were welcoming, social. They offered us a detail overview of the city with map markings, we relied on some of this during our trip. The rooms were on the 4th floor and thank god they had elevators😊. The room was just like in the photos, with one level above another. Overall, highly reccomend for families and solo travelers alike.

There was only one A/C which was very weak and not sufficient at all. We also did not realize that cleaning tag needs to be put, so the rooms were uncleaned and hot when we returned at 11PM 🥵

Great location – close to the city center, the bridge, and easy access to the other side of the river. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The rooms are located in a historic palace building, which gives the place a unique vibe. Comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff. A bottle of Prosecco as a welcome gift was also a nice touch.

There was an unpleasant odor near the main entrance – it smelled like urine, likely due to homeless people in the area. The shower gel provided by the hotel had a strong scent that we personally found unpleasant, though that’s a matter of personal preference. The rooms were generally clean, but corners and less visible areas could have been cleaned more thoroughly. A downside was the lack of shelves in the wardrobe, there was space for them, but none were installed.

Looks just like the pictures! Water temp in bathroom was easy to control and view was gorgeous. The entrance is very grand, but they sent over instructions via email prior to arrival so it was easy! Front desk was helpful and luggage storage came in handy while we waited for our room. We were delighted by the space, and the loft bed was good for the 2 night stay. Enough space for 2 ladies to prepare for a night out comfortably and privately. Heater in bathroom 🎉

Very central for touristy stuff, I was looking for more of a local experience, but it's a good location for first timers. Also the entrance is up some steps, so beware those with rolling luggage 🧳 These are personal preference and not reflective of the property itself!

I loved the location inside an old palace. The staff were friendly, and helped me find the secret lift. There was a small bottle of champagne as a welcome gift, and a Nespresso coffee machine. Bathroom had a heated towel rack and plenty of shelves for toiletries. I enjoyed the views from my room. I could see a small piece of the Danube river, and the Lady Liberty Statue! At night, the palace next door was illuminated. Gorgeous. I thought the price was very reasonable. And there are also hostel-style accommodations available in same building

I had a hard time finding hotel from directions. Maybe because I used a different metro exit with a lift? Inside the main entrance, with its huge palace doors, I got confused again when I saw ramp, but no lift. So I left my luggage in main hall, and walked up ramp to reception. All went well after checkin

I stayed here for one night and overall had a very good experience. The staff were warm, professional, and very welcoming, which made check-in quick and easy. The location is excellent — right in the center of Budapest, close to everything you’d want to see, even with limited time.

The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. The only downside was the Wi-Fi — the connection was quite weak and unstable, which could be frustrating if you need to get work done or make video calls. Other than that, everything was great, and I’d definitely consider staying here again for a quick trip.
