Well positioned hotel close to most of the main city’s attractions. Air conditioning worked very well during the whole staying when the outside temperatures were above 32 Celsius. The bed mattress was very confy, and the pillows as well so we had a good sleep. People were kind and helpful, they kept our luggage safe before the check in and after the check out.

Some of the bath amenities looked old and unmaintained. For example, the shower door was not closing properly, the towels support screws were unscrewed and almost got me a small wound, the bathroom door was fixed with some nails where it was swollen due to humidity.

Good location, right at city center and it’s easy to transport from the airport

Great location in the middle of the city and still quiet! Very good and varied choices for breakfast Air condition. Park nearby, shops restaurants, church with concert, public transport close by Fridge in the room is useful.

No kettle to make tea or coffee in the room. Very old carpet partly with holes. Used the last drop of soap on arrival. Wrote a note to please fill up but it did not happen on the second day, so I washed my hands with shampoo from the shower and asked for refill at the reception. There was a part of a small shower gel container in the shower left by a former guest.

The location was excellent and close to many attractions. Public transport was nearby, including the Hop-on, Hop-off bus tour. There were also good restaurants nearby, but no supermarkets, even small, where one could buy water or small food items. The hotel breakfast (Euro16.00) was excellent.

Rooms were old, hot water could take 6-7 minutes to arrive (if no-one else had used it recently on our floor or above), but beds were comfortable, and the room spacious. Our room maid provided us with a kettle, cups and tea bags, on her own initiative (though Reception had told me the previous day that no tea was available in the rooms, and no room service, and I would have to come down to the restaurant and pay for it.) No international channels on the TV to keep up with the French Open!

Have stayed here thrice in the last 3 years. Last year with my wife,given an excellent room with an alcove for luggage/pantry. the location is superb. Right next to the art deco masterpiece of the Centrsl Cafe. Just walking distance to the lehrndary Parisi Udvar with its champagne bar and glorious interior. The pedestrian streets adjacent, in one direction Eiffel's famous market,can't be missed,much bigger than his marjet at Dijon, and in the other direction, Erzebet Square with another famous restaurant the Gerbeaud nearby. The beautiful synagogue,largest in Europe is slso within walking distance and one can walk across the river at another bridge further up ,take the funicular up the castle hill. the quayside for the rivercruises are nearby too. Location, perfect.

Excellent location. The rooms are sound proofed and the bed is super comfortable. I usually don't sleep well in hotels but in this hotel I slept like a baby. I did not mind the outdated interior, it has a charming and calm atmosphere. The room had coffee and tea making facilities although they only provide coffee for your first night but they provided more after I asked. The staff is professional and kind, but I did not need to have much interaction with anyone.

The room had a desk and an additional round table and two chairs so it was a little busy. The bathroom could be cleaned a little more thoroughly to remove moulding from the shower door.

The location is central and close to main attractions. The breakfast was decent. The room was comfortable. I was offered an umbrella when I asked for one. Staff

Furniture is old. Rooms need refurbishment. Staff lacked courtesy and warmth. At times, they didn't seem to be happy doing their work. I wrote to them in advance saying that I was flying from Australia and inquired about early check-in because I would arrive exhausted. No courtesy upon arrival. I had to follow up on my request to receive an abrupt response.

The location was amazing. The lobby is a beautiful entrance and the rooms are great and warm. I found the beds nice and comfy, and loved the hair dryer in the bathrooms.

One staff member at reception was rude on two separate days when we came in from our day out and asked for something. Both times we asked for more towels and each time he seemed annoyed about it and acted like we were asking for too much, despite the towels being a few steps away from him. On the second occasion he said we could have asked the cleaners who came to our room in the day. We told him we weren’t in our rooms during the day, and he responded with “I don’t care”.

The location is perfect for all the tourist attractions: Danube, Vaci Utca, Christmas Markets, churches, shops, restaurants and bars. Metro and bus 100 E to the airport 5-7 minutes walk. The room was spacious, the sheets were clean, the bed was large and comfortable. Towels were changed daily and the bathroom was cleaned. The carpet was a bit worn, but that's a small minus. Honest breakfast, you have something to eat. We didn't eat too much because then we went to the Christmas market after the walk and ate there. Thank you.

At night I found a cockroach in the bathroom probably because it is an old building. Otherwise it is clean.

Hotel's location was perfect! Very close to metro or bus (if you need it) and in the very center of the city, in walkable distance to some of the attractions and very close to the Danube River promenade. Breakfast was totally ok. Room was clean and with good light management. Beds comfortable and extra pillows offered. Good closet space. Shower cabin was with good size. Very nice lounge bar next door. Great value for the money. We decided that this would be "our" hotel in Budapest, for the next time.

There is nothing we didn't like. These are the things that can be improved: 1. Cleaning Lady should not come to clean so early (8-9 o'clock) 2. The room would be perfect without the additional round table and minus 1 chair because the room was small. If the room was bigger, it would be great to have the round table and 2 chairs, but with the current size, they were too much. 3. Breakfast premises can be organized better 5. Metal holders of the shampoos are very inconvenient. I would change them.
