We stayed for the weekend and everything was pleasant and quiet. The location is the center itself. Everything you need is a few minutes from the apartment. Metro, cafes, restaurants... The apartment itself is clean and functional. I've read that some complain about the light in the bathroom turning off. All you have to do is wave your hand in the direction of the sensor and you're done.

The parking lot is for you only to take your things out and not to park for a long time because the maximum stay is 3 hours. There are plenty of parking spaces in the area. I would recommend "Bálna Budapest underground parking", which is located about ten minutes from the apartment. The price is 10 euros per day.

Perfect location; near the river and close to good restaurants and bars. It was 30 min on foot to the parliament. We found parking in front of the hotel and it was free during the weeekend.

We did not like that they wanted our credit card information to pay in the event we break something, even though we paid through booking and our card was there on booking. It is not ok for them to request our credit card details so they can withdraw money as they please, whenever they want. Our card was on booking and that is enough; we traveled in so many countries and that never happened to us before. I call that stupid Beds were NOT confortables and pillows were a joke, also the walls were so thin you could hear every neighbour as they were there with you.

Great location – absolute peace and quiet, yet within walking distance of the city center and the most famous landmarks. Approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the Fővám tér or Ferenciek tere metro stations. On Váci Street (which runs parallel to the street where the accommodation is located), you will find plenty of cafés, restaurants, and souvenir shops. A Lidl and Aldi are also nearby. The studio was cozy and clean, and the staff was friendly. There is a luggage room near the reception where you can store your bags for free. The studio was well-equipped with a microwave, electric kettle, fridge, necessary kitchenware, and a hairdryer.

Everything was perfect – just two minor comments. Perhaps the automatic shutdown settings for the bathroom lighting and ventilation could be adjusted slightly. They stay on for quite a while after leaving the bathroom, which might disturb roommates, especially at night. Also, the automatic messaging system before arrival could be fine-tuned – I received about five messages asking me to provide my arrival time, even though I had already done so when booking the accommodation.

Amber Studios provide some really good options to stay in the center of Pest. Walking distance from and to the airport bus and all the main attractions on this side of Danube. Before arrival, they proposed to check in online via some application. The access both to the building and to the room was fully automatic, with codes that were sent to us beforehand. The room itself was large and clean, the bed was comfy, the street outside is calm and beautiful. All in all, great value for money.

Nothing of importance. The hairdryer in our room wasn't working, but the staff immediately provided us with a replacement. And a short note regarding other reviews. Indeed, the movement sensor in the bathroom does not "see" you when you enter a shower, and can turn the light off after several minutes. However, there is a selector on a switcher that allows you to disable that sensor - so the light will never turn off.

I liked the cleanliness of the place and that it had everything I needed for my short trip also it is close to everything you want to see. The staff were friendly and helpful.

As constructive feedback, somehow it would be good to emphasize more how the front doors open or make it a bit easier to get in after the staff leaves. I know we were told but some extra labels or signs would be helpful. There was someone at 1 am trying to unlock the door and it was quite loud.😅 Despite this part I liked everything else and probably will return the next time if I need accommodation in Budapest.

The location is very good. And the facilities are nice.

They wanted to know my credit card information, for the card number and the date of expiration! That was really a poor experience. And finally I rejected to do that for unsecured reasons of fraud. They said they needed a guarantee deposit but I didn’t have cash . I asked them if they had POS I could pay with debit card. Their reply was no. Only cash or credit card information was available . I the end , they didn’t charge me any deposit and let me check in. The second, the check-in time was too late and check-out time was earlier than other hotels. The total difference amounts to two hours.

Location was excellent , really in city center . Even the bus 100E to the airport is only around 10 minutes walking. All the facilities upon to your disposal, including microwave , boiler, fridge ,etc.

The wifi had lot of interruptions . The check-in in person is only available till 19:00 , however they facilitate to you a platform in order you can send a copy of your ID and do check-in on-line ,for free, in case if you arrive afetar 19:00. Otherwise you will need to pay an extra in cash to check-in after 19:00 if you want someone there. The safe is to short to keep a laptop (even with 13” ) in case you need to store it there. The blackouts of the windows do not cover all the windows , so in the morning the daylight will not let you sleep more.

The apartment is centrally located. There are several bars and cafés nearby. In a few minutes you will reach the promenade on the Danube. The nearest metro stop is Ferenciek tere. The area where the apartment is located is quite quiet. The staff was kind and quick to change the mattress cover as it had a stain. The procedure of self check-in was very easy. Good price/ quality ratio.

Personally I didn’t like the bathroom light that is activated by a motion sensor along with the fan. It turns off after about 5-10 minutes and you can’t control it with a button. The cleaning of the apartment was generally good but could be cleaner. Also the garden light was sensor-based and it sometimes it is annoying at night as the the door is trasparente you see the light when it turns up.

Location is amazing, it’s quiet, the staff is super friendly. Room itself is comfy, it has nice ventilation and a heater so you can adjust temperature however you like. There was an AC as well so I assume during summer it’s not too hot either. It was perfectly clean, the bedsheets and towels were fresh. It was a pleasure to come there after a long day of exploring the city. We could use luggage storage for free before check in and after check out which helped us out a lot.

The hair dryer in our room constantly overheated and was turning off, so it was a bit tricky, but if this happens to you, just put it in mode 1 and it will work perfectly fine. The room is a bit tiny, smaller than the ones on the picture, but it wasn’t an issue for us at all, it easily has enough space for 2 people and did the job for us. Also I think kitchen is good only to maybe have a cup of tea or something, but nothing more, it’s really tiny, I’d say it will be tricky to cook an actual meal in there, but we didn’t need it anyways. Also it was not ideal that we could’t check in before 3 p.m. but since you can leave luggage in the storage before checking in it wasn’t that big of an issue.

The room was always very warm and cozy. The location is great as it is near the center. Finally the check in and check out (even though little intimidating at fist) was very easy and the instructions very clear.

At the fist two days of our stay the bathroom smelled very intensely from the sewages. But then after the 3rd day the smell got away. We concluded that maybe is due to the old building or maybe the area in general has some problem with the sewage system. Also at the cleaning day the cleaning service only replaced our towels with clean ones.
