Absolutely beautiful and spacious (massive) suite apartments with en-suite in each bedroom. Friendly and professional receptionist. Top-notch breakfast. The location was almost ideal and perfect - within the main area and next to the beautiful river and restaurants and bars.

The air conditioning was broken, although the hotel reception resolved this amicably

Best location for first time tourists to Budapest! This hotel is located at the heart of the inner city, conveniently located near all the most popular destinations in Budapest. The staff exemplifies professionalism and is more than willing to help guests get the most out of their stay. When i needed help making a dinner reservation in Hungarian, Balint went out of his way to make sure that everything went smoothly. When we were short one umbrella on a rainy afternoon, Sebastian provided a loaner for us courtesy of the hotel. When we wanted recommendations for less touristy restaurants off the beaten path in the outer districts of Budapest, Tamas suggested an amazing pizzaria. I've yet to encounter a more courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful hotel staff anywhere. Moreover, the breakfast, while not cheap, is not to be missed! You can't do better than this hotel when you take into account its perfect combination of location, service, and value!

The room was huge, well-equipped, and clean. Breakfasts were good and the staff were lovely. Special praise for Maria the chef, who was lovely, and the two young Indonesian boy and girl waiters, they were lovely too. Front desk staff were all nice and helpful but a little reserved.

The air-conditioning was not great. It got quite warm during our stay and although we turned the aircon right down, it did not seem to be very effective. We did report this to reception and an engineer came to look but they did not seem to be able to do anything to improve it. It may be that the system is just old.

1stly, front desk on my arrival day was very sweet, polite & friendly. 2nd, housekeeping did a great job cleaning the 1 bedroom apartment. Very outdated hotel but at least the towels & bed linen are clean & comfortable. 3rd, location, it is literally at the shopping street, 1 small block away from the river, walking to nearly everywhere. I would stay here again if I visit Budapest butttt I really hope Marriott can at least upgrade/renovate the facilities, furniture, carpet, taps, etc. of the rooms. As it is very outdated, I may not stay here if u bring my family due to their allergies as unsure how often the carpet & curtains vacuum.

Outdated hotel that really needs a major renovation , or maybe more regular maintenance. Frontdesk was not even done up nicely. The bathroom tap is so worn & rusty that it is so difficult to turn. Water is warm, not hot even when turned to max. Sofa gave me rashes on my thighs, so I had to cover with shower towel before I can sit on it.

The rooms were very comfortable, plenty of space and comfortable furnishings. Really good air conditioning. Very clean hotel. Really helpful friendly staff. I was slightly shocked as it has 11 floors and the rooms don’t start until the 3rd floor as it’s over the top of a shopping centre. The pictures only show a building a couple of stories high, but it’s behind this building in the middle out of view. I don’t like heights and ended up on the 4th floor. Its location is great as you are in the shopping area with lots of restaurants and cafes. You don’t get a view and it’s a little dark as the hotel has a courtyard in the centre with the roof of the shopping centre in the middle and your view is the rooms on the other side of the courtyard raising up 11 floors.

The road the hotel was in was shut when we arrived due to it being a public holiday, this meant we could not drive to the hotel and also couldn’t reach the car park under the shopping centre which the hotel had recommended we used for our car. We had to park at the main Marriott hotel and walk with all our luggage. The hotel did not inform us of this. I had requested the lowest floor due to having 2 boys with disabilities but my request was not possible.

Try central to all the sites. Easy walking distances. Very clean. Very helpful staff

Decent breakfast. Hit all the main requirements. Small but functional gym and also a sauna with plunge pool - although didn't try out the sauna. Rooms were quiet even with the windows open. Great location although you could easily miss the entrance area. Easy once you know where it is, but had to look carefully for the first time as the entrance is small and a bit hidden.

Rooms overly warm but could open windows to cool down. Might be a problem in summer! Seems to have heating but not cooling. Furnishings looking a bit old and tired, but didn't detract from the stay.

Very convenient location just off the main shopping street, with lots of lively and lovely restaurants at the doorstep. The river and its attractions are a 2 minute walk away. The apartment was clean and very comfortable with enough appliances to cook a meal if needed. The cleaning service was very thorough, they even put the dishwasher on for us everyday! The reception staff were lovely and very helpful in booking us tickets for the thermal baths. Highly recommended this place

The location and views from the property were perfect. The staff were 10/10 they helped with everything and were so kind. Although dated the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed as a family.

Rooms definitely need updating we did have a strange noise in our first room and the staff moved us immediately to another room. This room was great however had a strange smell in kitchen area, we lived with it for 3 nights but wasn’t perfect.

Prime location. The best. Front desk staff extremely helpful and pleasant, and helped us plan our day every morning with great guidance. Elizabeth - cleaning lady in floor #3 - out of this world! Exceptional! Apartment specious, clean , fully equipped to the smallest detail. I just couldn’t ask for something better for our family and our needs

One laundry machine for each floor and if you’re located in the other side of the floor it’s a really long walk to make your laundry… also machines should be cleaned and maintained more often (filter and inside machines).if the rooms had private washing machines this place would get an 11… In addition, we come from a warm country so October nights in Budapest are cold for us. The rooms at night get coldddd and heating didint work. but it was not unbearable so we didn’t complain
