It was so lovely, big room with a balcony. Really simple to get the bus from the City Centre. Straightforward instructions to get in and so welcoming to have use of the kitchen. Breakfast was very pleasant, and the owner an absolute delight to talk to. The shower was hot and powerful - perfect. These facilities represent excellent value for money, but it’s so much more than that. Perfect location, views of Matthias and the sounds of piano music - presumably the hotel next to that. We will be back to Budapest, fabulous city, and we will stay here again. Thank you to them for their hospitality

The location was outstanding for our visits to Buda Castle area. It was a 10-minute walk for our exploration of the castle area, and where we could pick up a bus to the Pest side to see other areas of the city and to shop. Breakfast was continental style. The room was small but included a bathroom with shower, toilet & sink; a comfortable chair; and balcony. We enjoyed talking to the owner and his assistant, both of whom gave us great information about the history of Budapest.

The bath towels were very small, and there were no face towels or bar soap in the shower. We had to transfer the hand soap to the shower as needed.

We had a fantastic stay! This place is a great value-for-money choice with an excellent location—right next to Fisherman’s Bastion. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. Some might call the decor a bit dated, but we found it charming, with a vintage/Provence feel that added to the atmosphere. It actually looks and feels much better in real life than in the photos! The owner is such a lovely man, incredibly welcoming and friendly. It truly felt like visiting a Hungarian uncle—warm hospitality at its best! Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about!

Location is wonderful, we also lucked out and got the Parlament view suite. Quiet, clean, some might call it a bit dated, but i'd say it gives more of a vintage/provence feeling. Definitely looks and feels much better in real life than on photos. Breakfast is great, the owner is great.

I wouldn't call all of those minuses, just some notes to look out for. It's is a bit up there from the metro/tram line, you're gonna need to do a lil 30-40 meter elevation hike up to the hotel everytime you come back. The room's fridge was a bit noisy for my liking, but i just turned it off. Also the shower holder was broken, but im sure it's gonna get fixed soon. The only real tiny minus is that there are two single person blankets, not a big one for 2 people, makes it hard to sleep as a couple, but it's probably easily fixable as well, we just didn't ask because we were there only for 2 nights.

B&b is located in a good position, very near to Fishermen's Bastion. Metro and tram stops are 10 minutes of walk. Our room was big with a little terrace overlooking Parliament and Danube. Staff was very kind, they gave us the opportunity to leave our baggage inside the B&b even if the room was not ready for the check in. We checked out very soon (before breakfast time) and they prepared for us some sandwiches to take away. Breakfast had a good variety of choice.

The only negative point is the lack of bathroom products such as shampoo and shower lotion.

This B&B is in the perfect location, literal steps away from the Fisherman's Bastion. The host is lovely and super helpful (he even has flip flops for us to borrow for the thermal baths). The AC in the room was really strong, which was very much needed after touring around in some pretty extreme heat! Breakfast was delicious, and they were very accommodating when we had to depart early. I cannot recommend Bellevue enough, and would definitely stay here again!

If I could, I'd give this place a 100/10. Let me start by saying that I've never met someone so helpful at check-in. They arranged parking, answered every question thoroughly, and were incredibly kind, striving to take care of you in every way. The room had a soul and a view of Parliament. It was spacious, clean, and had everything you needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was just 5 minutes from Fisherman's Bastion.

The B&B is located just below the world-famous Fisherman's Bastion, in a quiet street were we could park our car in front of the owner's garage without having to pay a fee - which would be the rule anywhere else in Budapest, and a problem for those, like us, who didn't purchase Hungarian Forints before travelling. Our room was on the top floor, with a beautiful view of the city. Our hosts were very helpful; while eating a good breakfast Balint informed us that we could travel on all public transports by paying via an Android App an inexpensive ticket, less than 7 Euros and free for the Over 65. Wi-Fi is OK.

Everything was as expected; anyway, since the rooms are NOT accessible by elevator and the stairs are narrow, this B&B is not a good choice for mobility impaired travellers.

We spent 3 nights at Bellevue Budapest in May 2025, and the accommodation almost exceeded our expectations. A stunning view from the balcony of our room directly onto the river and the Hungarian Parliament, a very well-equipped room, and a great host along with his receptionist – both very polite, kind, and helpful. The breakfasts were also very good. When we return to Budapest, we’ll be happy to stay here again.

Location is excellent, within 1 minute walk of Fisherman's Bastion and about 10 minute walk to the chain bridge. Room was clean, warm and the bed was very comfortable. Having a balcony was good too as I wasn't expecting that. Staff went out of their way to help guests.

For the price I can't complain about anything. Coffee/Tea making facilities in the room would have been a nice touch, but these were available 24/7 in the breakfast room on the next floor.
