We had a fantastic stay! This place is a great value-for-money choice with an excellent location—right next to Fisherman’s Bastion. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. Some might call the decor a bit dated, but we found it charming, with a vintage/Provence feel that added to the atmosphere. It actually looks and feels much better in real life than in the photos! The owner is such a lovely man, incredibly welcoming and friendly. It truly felt like visiting a Hungarian uncle—warm hospitality at its best! Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared.

Location is wonderful, we also lucked out and got the Parlament view suite. Quiet, clean, some might call it a bit dated, but i'd say it gives more of a vintage/provence feeling. Definitely looks and feels much better in real life than on photos. Breakfast is great, the owner is great.

I wouldn't call all of those minuses, just some notes to look out for. It's is a bit up there from the metro/tram line, you're gonna need to do a lil 30-40 meter elevation hike up to the hotel everytime you come back. The room's fridge was a bit noisy for my liking, but i just turned it off. Also the shower holder was broken, but im sure it's gonna get fixed soon. The only real tiny minus is that there are two single person blankets, not a big one for 2 people, makes it hard to sleep as a couple, but it's probably easily fixable as well, we just didn't ask because we were there only for 2 nights.

The B&B is located just below the world-famous Fisherman's Bastion, in a quiet street were we could park our car in front of the owner's garage without having to pay a fee - which would be the rule anywhere else in Budapest, and a problem for those, like us, who didn't purchase Hungarian Forints before travelling. Our room was on the top floor, with a beautiful view of the city. Our hosts were very helpful; while eating a good breakfast Balint informed us that we could travel on all public transports by paying via an Android App an inexpensive ticket, less than 7 Euros and free for the Over 65. Wi-Fi is OK.

Everything was as expected; anyway, since the rooms are NOT accessible by elevator and the stairs are narrow, this B&B is not a good choice for mobility impaired travellers.

Location is excellent, within 1 minute walk of Fisherman's Bastion and about 10 minute walk to the chain bridge. Room was clean, warm and the bed was very comfortable. Having a balcony was good too as I wasn't expecting that. Staff went out of their way to help guests.

For the price I can't complain about anything. Coffee/Tea making facilities in the room would have been a nice touch, but these were available 24/7 in the breakfast room on the next floor.

The room was spacious and clean. Right next to Fisherman's bastion, so excellent location for sightseeings. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Balint, the receptionist, booked us an airport transfer, making our stay stress free. He also advised us about where best to view the fireworks on a national holiday (20th August fireworks). There was also complementary 24/7 coffee and tea available. All in all, this is a very lovely B&B with professional and helpful staff and also with comfortable beds and clean spaces.

It was perfect location - amazing if you wanna explore Budapest. Because it was located 5 minutes maximum from the Fisherman Bastion and you were also very near to the buses and metros if you wanna go to the city centre. Sometimes we went by foot just for the walk, sometimes we took the city transport, everything great. Stuff was also very nice - Lajos, Balint and Olga, lot of thanks! They do everything for you to feel like at home. And breakfast was nice too, you had everything you needed and big plus is that you even can sit on the balcony and enjoy beautiful view. I am sure that if we go again i future, we will chose again this accommodation.

The only thing which we did not like were strange noises comming from the heating during the whole night, so first night we were not able to sleep much, but next night was good, cos we bought earplugs. I guess this problem will not be in the summer because there will not be nead to heat, it was not anything horrible, but if you had a very light sleep like us, then it can be a problem. But if you come with earplugs and you know it in advance, then totally no problem :-)

Near to the castle.You can go to the centre with metro and you can return from deak ferenc ter with bus 16 or 216 to avoid walking.Details really useful from reception and the owner, so to avoid many things that offer to tourists.The breakfast was really good,the place is only a few meters from castle.The room had everything that someone needs.Everyday cleaning!I would suggest it for everyone that visits budapest.You would not regret it.If you don't like museums-like me-avoid budapest card and prefer the bus hop and daily tickets .

As a greek,i couldn't find freddo esresso or bugatsa.

Everything was more than perfect! A cozy guesthouse with a special vibe. Family atmosphere, very simple but welcoming rooms decorated in a traditional style. It is a small accommodation, for sociable and unpretentious travelers located in a silent area. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff very kind. Very close to the main sights in Buda and to a short walk to the Chain Bridge and Parliament. We will definitely come back. Special thanks to the owner Lajos and Balint as well as the lady for all the support provided during the stay. People with beautiful soul who put passion into everything they do!

Amazing place! A wonderful owner who clearly put a lot of heart into this place. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared with local ingredients. The views from the window were stunning! The apartment was practically in the city center, and as soon as you stepped out of the building, you were right in the old town. I have such fond memories of this stay :)

The B & B was on the Buda side of the river very close to the Castle area. It was easy to access everywhere and cross over to the other side. The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the top floor and had amazing views across the city. The hosts were very helpful and informative. Breakfast was continental style with plenty to eat. We were able to nake tea and coffee at any time.
