Everything was great, it's not the first time we stay at this hotel.

There was a misunderstanding with the language. The day we arrived the lady said we have the breakfast included, we said "okay, good to know". Next day we come down for breakfast, the guy says that we need to pay for it, then he goes to make a call, comes back and says "you don't pay". I say "okay, great". And when we leave the hotel, he says "you need to pay 45 euro for breakfast" - that's when I undestood that he meant "you didn't pay" when he said "you don't pay" :D So the guy's english grammar was worth 45 euro for us. We don't regret it though, the breakfast was great.

Location just next to the Buda castle (unfortunatelly half of the castle was under reconstruction as well as everal staircases leading down to the hotel, so finding the way was a little bit difficult). Tram line and several bus lines and a shop are just behind the corner, metro is two tram stops away. Breakfasts Reception 24/7 (if you realize your keycard stopped working after some upgrade of the entrance hardware when you return to the hotel at midnight with phone battery almost dead... :-) Reasonable price (for the city and location) Temperature and shades - even in hot and sunny weather

A little bit noisy from reconstruction works in the castle, but only if we kept the windows open (for fresh air). Noise from the street was not a problem, at least not for us in the top floor.

Location, you go trough the tunnel and arrive at the chain bridge. Bed was comfortable. Room was at ground floor, facing the interior yard, no problems with tunnel motorcycle noise but the people from the tables from interior yard can see right in our room. It was clean. Staff was helpful with app parking, there are multiple public parking spots right in front of the building, free for the weekends. They offered free tea and coffee and some sweets in the shared breakfast area.

Due to the ground floor location of the room with windows facing the little interior yard surrounded by tall buildings, it was a gloomy atmosphere inside.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, despite the early hour when we checked in (1:30 am), we found a parking spot right in front of the hotel (weekdays it's free of charge) and the breakfast was excellent and very varied.

INSIDE TIP: Ask for a room facing the inner yard. The rooms facing the street are poorly sound insulated and because the hotel is located near a heavy traffic tunnel, during the night when bikers and sport car drivers rev up their engines, the sound is amplified by the tunnel, making it almost impossible to have a good night sleep. I really don't understand why the management can't invest in higher quality windows. Otherwise, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Oh, also the coffee is really bad. I don't know if it's the beans or the espresso machine, but the coffee sucks. Pity, because the rest of the dishes served are fresh, tasty and lots to chose from.

Location was very convenient to seeing budapest's tourist attractions

Motorcycle noise from the castle tunnel. It is loud all night long as a motorcycle group has decided this is their favorite place to show off. Not the hotel's fault, but this is something I haven't experienced in Europe. Budapest really should address the motorcyclists racing through the tunnel. The edges of the mattresses are very soft ... it feels like you're going to roll off the bed if you sleep near the edge (we have a small child that sleeps between us, so my wife and I are relegated to the edges).

Nice staff, clean room, privacy, nice and quiet terrace.

The room was a biy smaller than expected and it was just a little bit too dark. (Not much natural light).

This is a medium-small property in a nice and poshy area (in Buda) in walking distance to major touristic (and non) attractions. Personnel is helpful and professional, we had a misunderstanding at arrival but sorted out the next morning with the help of Anna. We had breakfast almost every day to them (at extra cost), in our opinion it really worth for quality and diversity, here Laszlo was very kind and friendly. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay in this nice and cosy hotel.

At our arrival, they gave us a top floor room which was smaller than expected (under roof) and a lot noisier (facing the very exit of the nearby tunnel). When tried to swapping it, the receptionist refused and explained to me other rooms could be even noisier and no spares were available. After a bad night sleep, when requested again, they manage to give us another room which was perfect.

The staff were extremely kind, flexible, and always ready to help. Although the official check-in time is 16:00, we arrived at the hotel at 13:30, and they kindly gave us the room without even mentioning the check-in time. The room was very clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The location is also perfect, just a 7-minute walk to the Chain Bridge and 5 minutes to the Castle. The city center is a bit farther, about a 20 minute walk, but we didn’t mind at all, as it’s truly beautiful to see the city from Buda to Pest otherwise you can take bus and be in city centre in few minutes.

The only thing was the noise from the tunnel at night. However, you can book a room with a balcony on the other side of the hotel, where it’s quiet and there’s no noise.

Excellent location if you want to visit all the most important attractions of Budapest on foot. Buda Castle is few minutes walk up the street, same with Chain Bridge and Danube river in general. Enjoyable breakfast, people at reception desk were helpful, room was tidy and cleaned on a daily basis. It's a very good place to stay for Budapest sightseeing tour.

- rooms with window looking at the Castle Hill can be a bit more annoying because of the tunnel under the Hill and loud sports cars / motorcycles driving through it during the night - I am not really satisfied with communication about the parking - we were told that there is "discounted" price in the garage parking but in fact it's even more expensive than if you would go and pay at the ticket machine for this parking (Hotel charges 25Eur per day, where at the machine it's around 20Eur per day). - Parking at the street is paid from Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 to 22:00, 600 HUF/hour. Sunday is free of charge.
