I travelled to Chennai with my family. We stayed for 5 days. And the service at this hotel is amazing. Exceptional customer service, with a commitment to making our stay comfortable, the staff are so nice and helpful. The rooms were well-maintained, beds were exceptionally comfortable. The rooms were well-furnished and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The highlight was the morning breakfast with the traditional South Indian dishes, personally made best dosas varieties and filter coffee was another treat. We enjoyed the food. This hotel has a pool of vehicles to make our travel comfortable at any time.  We arranged a vehicle to travel to Kanchipuram, the driver was an experienced person, who made our shopping easy.

The hotel staff was very polite & hospitable. Rohit greeted me at the check-in counter with friendliness and the check in was very smooth. Great location as it is very close to the AG DMS metro station and also to the VFS office if you have any visa biometrics appointments. The breakfast buffet was great which had variety of food options. I ordered an airport pickup taxi and they responded very promptly.

The safe locker in my hotel room had a malfunction however the Engineer was very quick to act upon and brought a replacement quickly.

THE HOTEL CHARGES YOU EXTRA MONEY AS CAUTION DEPOSIT IN ADDITION TO ADVANCE ROOM CHARGES. THEY DO NOT TRUST THEIR GUEST. SOME SORT OF INSULTING.

We had a wonderful stay. Hotel was clean, comfortable and close to where we needed to be. The staff were lovely the restaurant food tasted good and was served in generous portions. It was a beautiful trip.

There was some confusion about the room charges and the exchange rate that eventually got sorted out. I wasn't thrilled with the response time from the hotel on this but it ultimately resolved in a clear way. Other small things worth noting- room didn't come with a safe even though it was listed in the amenities (we had to ask), the tv/remote wasn't working and needed to be fixed (this happened easily) and our key cards regularly would stop functioning. I was told that this was because they were kept near credit cards but it still kept happening- once I used it in the elevator and one minute later it wouldn't open my room lock.

Everything was perfect. Ambiance, Staff behaviour, food, location and rooms. The staff were very engaging and humble. Coincidentally I stayed during my birthday and they presented a surprise cake in the evening. It was a memorable stay in Courtyard by Marriott Chennai. Their breakfast was amazing prepared under the guidance of Mr Raj Nandy. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in Chennai.

Not any

The best part of the stay was the ambiance of the hotel & the hospitality of the Hotel staff. Especially mentioning the names of Mr. Sunil at reception, Mr. Rohit & Ms.Ankona at the Paprika restaurant, and Mr. Rishabh (name could not remember very clearly now) from housekeeping. They made the stay of my family extremely comfortable. Whenever in Chennai, we would choose Courtyard by Mariott without a doubt and would recommed too

One thing I want to mention here is that my booking was through Booking.com and I had selected a room with a bathtub and good view e.g. Roadside for the baby to enjoy and play well. This wasnt provided However, the bed cot for baby was provided & was readily available

excellent spread. every item was fresh and hot. the moong halwa was exceptional. didnt try the live egg counter. or the juices. idly, sabudana vada, udin vada, sausages, boiled egg.. all were good. sambar was also good.

the only unfavourable experience of our entire stay was the coffee - where the milk was spoilt. however the staff were very apologetic.

I would like to give token of appreciation to Ms Sangeethaa and Mr Sheikh on quick response during the needs. Big thumbs up to all the front desk staff. Great job and keep rocking.

Morning breakfast need to be organize well. Looks like the arrangements a bit clumsy. Lack of decorations with a lot of smiles on your face. The staff looks very tensed. Not sure if they are facing a kind of pressure from upper lines.

The property was well maintained and the entrance lobby exuded luxury. The staff were competent, helpful and welcoming. The valet staff were also very adept in their handling of our car and their overall attitude was friendly. The property was maintained quite impeccably.

The shower was the biggest let down and the breakfast next! The Shower did not dispense hot water as well as the stream of water was weak. Chennai being a Metro city, the breakfast at this international chain could be tastier. Being from Bangalore, it is hard to appreciate sub-par breakfast spread. The property could do well with a pool. It is a good exercise option for those who do not want to use the gym.

Good property with good facilities

On booking.com, when we booked one room for three adults, we got an option of a deluxe room with two twin beds and we went ahead and booked it. The hotel told us that they can't provide an extra bed for the third adult since the room space would not be sufficient. So we had to manage with two twin beds. If the room space is a constraint, then this room should not have come up as an option for us. Please consider this feedback and do the needful.
