I stayed from August 8th to 13th, 2024, and was highly impressed by the promptness and efficiency of the front desk staff. Kulu, the Duty Manager, was exceptionally friendly, provided clear explanations of the charges, and even offered a complimentary upgrade at check-in. Housekeeping responded swiftly to our requests, and the breakfast was outstanding. Special thanks to Anjli, Sandeep, and Sanhita for prioritizing and handling guests' requests with care. They were consistently prompt and always greeted me with a smile whenever I visited Buffet Square—special thanks to the bellman who assisted us in weighing our luggage and assisted us during our checkout. Overall service was good.

I requested plates and cutlery to have food in the room, but due to hotel policy, room service was unable to provide them unless the food was ordered through the hotel's room service. While the hotel staff were attentive, a suggestion would be to accommodate requests for plates and cutlery for guests who wish to enjoy outside food in their rooms, as this is a common practice in other hotels.

I had a wonderful experience at Ramada Plaza Chennai. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was outstanding—warm, professional, and always attentive to every detail. The staff consistently went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The restaurant exceeded expectations, offering a diverse and flavorful breakfast spread each morning. Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional support from Adam, the duty manager. His calm, thoughtful, and solution-oriented approach made a lasting impression. Whether it was a small request or general guidance, Adam handled everything with care and efficiency. His presence really elevated the entire experience.

Superb hotel, close to the airport and city, much better value than some big names nearby. Hugely spacious room, plenty of space for storage. Snugly comfortable bed with choice of pillows offered. Electrically operated drapes. Spacious and clean bathroom and toilet. Good WiFi. Excellent breakfast, tasty and offering a large range of cuisines and dishes to suit all tastes. Staff are courteous and helpful.

Awful auto-light switch in the bathroom, an unfortunate gimmick. Lights come on when you walk in, switch off if you are sitting too long, so you have to wave frantically to turn them back on. Afterwards, you cannot switch them off so they keep shining into your bedroom for 5 minutes keeping you awake :-(

The hotel was clean and easily accessible. The breakfast buffet was good as well. Rooms are very well maintained. Clean towels, clean toilets. Humble staff. I was upgraded to a premium room (I never asked for this).

So I had booked for 3 nights but due to the cyclone the airports were shut and I had to check in really late. At the time of check-in, I was 2 hours away from the 1st day check out time, but the hotel still wanted to charge me the full day. The hotel had a wrong totalling and charged me twice for usage of the travel desk, which I was sensible enough to check. It took me 30 minutes to resolve this. I wish they are more considerate when it comes to such a situation and charging customers.

The lighting is not enough too dim they should improve on it. second thing they should provide tab or remote facility to operate the lighting, curtain etc..can provide a,bigger dustbin it's too small & spoiled also couldn't open easily. bathrobe slippers are missing & hand towels are not enough should take note the rest ok good service friendly staffs.They gave me extra time for check out thanks to the manager. we will consider staying in future thanks to all.

Very comfy hotel with the array of facilities you would expect from a five star hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfortable.

The system for lighting and curtains was a bit confusing. Everything is on a panel of buttons with small labels, so you end up playing with all the lights to get the ones you want on or off. The curtains close automatically every time you leave the room - good for saving energy I guess. Also, the "free private taxi from the airport" is basically an uber driver you have to look for in a chaotic setting away from the main arrivals area. I was expecting someone with sign when I came out at arrivals. Nope.

We came to Chennai for a family event. I liked the accessibility of the location from the main road. There is a garden next door for an outdoor walk. The room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast options were also great. The staff were courteous and welcoming. The overall package was excellent value for money.

I struggled a bit with the bathroom shower settings. They were not intuitive. The toilet flush was not the best. The TV was not the easiest to operate despite instructions. Further although we had paid for a late checkout, someone from reception called when I was in the middle of an office meeting at 11am reminding us to check out, leading me to question their documentation and handover practices.

This was my second but for sure no last stay at the Ramada. The staff was super professional, friendly and attentive. We arrived few hours before the official check in time, the front desk stuff helped us and we were checked in within 30 min. I espically wan't to point out Guru and the young waiter, who's name I unfortunately forgot. They were exceptional !

The only "negative" point I want to point out is that when enetering room the room smells kind of damp. Wettish, this was the same when I first stayed there. Im not sure if it's the cleaning products. But some air fresheners or something in that direction would be great.

I liked the Spa and the overall look and feel of the property. The rooftop bar and restaurant service was very professional.

I have to say that the service for breakfast was not up to my expectations. Although there seemed to be alot of staff the management and organisation was not good resulting in long waits for service on all my visits.

The room was very nice and comfortable and clean. All good as expected.

The dinner buffet spread was alright. But not maintained to standards of a 3-4 star, let alone a 5-star. Everything was cold and the mutton pieces were hard, etc. They did try to make up once I told them. Breakfast was OK though i have experienced much better. They also refused to give me a GST invoice for another state just because I did not book directly. I paid them direct and they billed me direct. So how illogical is that?
