I was a bit nervous about our travel to Mangalore as my aging parents have mobility issues; however, the staff at Vivanta were incredibly kind and helpful and put my mind at ease. As soon as we entered the premises of Vivanta, every single person ensured that my parents were well looked after. We were touched by the care and hospitality (which has been excellent) and cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness. It is my Dad’s birthday on 17th September and I feel this is the best gift I could ever give him. Seeing him reminiscing about our stay here many moons ago made me so happy (his long term memory is still amazing). 😀 A special thanks to the reception staff (a big shoutout to Deepika and Karthik) for the lovely surprise for my Dad - a pre-birthday celebration that he thoroughly enjoyed. Massive thanks to the staff at Mint (Sudeep and everybody else) for looking after my parents’ needs and requests during breakfast times. My parents wish to convey their best wishes and blessings to all of you. Thanks once again for making my parents feel extra special. 🙏🏽

We had a great stay at the Vivanta for 3 nights from 23 - 26 Sept. The room was spacious and very comfortable for 2 people. All modern amenities were provided. The buffet breakfast was very nice and on the last night we had dinner at Memories of China. We had special requests for some vegetarian dishes and the chef did an excellent job. We will definitely come to Mangalore just to eat there again. Sudeesh at the front desk provided excellent service and took care of our all needs especially when my wife and I were not feeling well for a few days. Great staff and great hotel. Highly recommended 👍

Nothing at all

To start, this hotel was recently renovated. The rooms feel fresh and new, and are spacious and beautifully decorated. The shower is excellent. The bed has a wonderful, thick mattress pad and the pillows are super comfortable. Possibly the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve encountered at a hotel. The rooms even have labels for all the light switches! Now to talk about the food. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, with a large variety of food. There are two restaurants, there is one bar and there is also 24 hour room service! The restaurants are very good. One is a very high quality Chinese restaurant and the other is a very nice mix of Indian and international food. There is also a cute gift shop. The concierge is simply wonderful. Everyone at Vivanta Mangalore is so helpful and friendly. They even allow a free 2 PM checkout upon request. There is a cab stand right next to the hotel, which is convenient. The pool looks really nice, too, and the WiFi works wonderfully. This hotel is also priced very well. Recommended!

Visited with family and infant.Quite comfortable stay .Staff were prompt with all the requests and handled them very well. Lady Helina and other staff were very good hosts. Breakfast was very good ,quite a lot of options and dishes served from live kitchen were also very good .

Just the room temperature control was a bit tricky.We had to keep on adjusting the temperature as it would feel quite cold or hot suddenly.i know it's a personal choice but if engineers can have a look or if fan option could be there would be even better .

The location is the highlight-close to everything that you wish to do at Mangalore makes it very impressive. The room was very comfortable, the staff always smiling and ensuring that you are always attended to, the Masala tea was quite amazing. I would especially mention Memories of China, the in-house Chinese restaurant.

Nothing. Our room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke which could be due to tge vent or a prévoius guest.

Breakfast was good with a decent spread of all courses. Restaurant is located at the ground floor so convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. They also were supportive as we reached quite late from a long road journey. The check in was smooth and proactively managed. They also helped with some odd support needed to fix some things. The staff at the front office/reception especially Pragath, Karthik, Deepika were extremely helpful.

Polite and Courteous Staff. Great location. Perfect breakfast. Clean. Obviously we expect the TATA values and standard and it showed.

Maybe my expectations but thought the suite we stayed was a little small for the Vivanta Brand probably. But no complains as such. I was told at the reception that bill would be shared on my email but yet to receive it. Maybe a technical glitch.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was located close to all amenities but in a quieter area not too far from the fish market. The breakfast was great, with plenty of variety. The pool and gym were lovely to have as well. Room service was efficient, tasty and reasonably priced!

Everything is close by, you don’t have to travel a lot for the restaurant and goody places around in Manglore. Well maintained hotel and very clean. It’s a very good place to stay.

Prices could have been a little cheaper for the size of the room, but again the food and staff makes up for it.

The hospitality, co operation and support in every segment from checking through restaurants, check out until into my car was commendable and appreciable .. hospitality at its best in th term I want to use .Excellent support from team members like Satya, Sudheesh and Kartik were exceptional ..

I could not find something which I did not like or there to give e negative comment .. Sorry ..
