Location was close to an autorickshaw stand, with nominal costs charged by the auto people. Neat and tidy rooms. CCTV on the floor where we stayed. Breakfast is prepared by the staff of the hotel on the top of the building. Standard quality only, not bad.

Toiletries were not supplied at the time of check-in. But later it was provided on request. Telephone was not working for contacting reception- later they gave their mobile number to make calls for needs. When going for breakfast during busy hours, some delay in getting food items (very few options).

The Hotel Administration (not the hotel) Treebo Papillon Palace, sent in 2.5 days aprox 50 emails with payment links, The payment links are NOT for foreigner, it is only for Indians, with indian account, Indian credit cards, or Indian Payment apps. They CANCELED without authorization of booking.com my reservation. Very annoying this administrating company who does the administrive work for the hotel. There is NO Telephone number to be reached (also not the one in the website. BED was very bad,

Excellent location. Decent breakfast. Sufficient sized room and good facilities (A/C, water heater, kettle etc).

Booking experience. We booked for 4 nights. Though Booking.com has a good arrangement with which booking the hotel room without payment was permitted, repetitive messages on email and whatsapp started flowing from Treebo urging us to make the payment to confirm the booking! There was no option to make a part payment also. Since you are giving an option to cancel the booking till about a day before the check in date, I suggest that you should not insist on full payment for all the (4 in our case) days booked by guests. You may ask for just the first day's advance booking payment, and for balance days, payment should be collected at check in. For single day bookings, advance payment may be collected by Booking.com at the time of booking itself.

Hotel located at best location. The places around hotel are in good radius which saves time and less tiring. The topography of Mangalore is added advantage to the hotel location.

The breakfast is included in the rent, but they had no restaurant of their own. Hence, no tea/coffee and snack/food once the breakfast is over. Refreshment is game changer. Having said that I am staying at same hotel for my next visit to Mangalore.

First of all, booking.com got this booking done for me at a late hour, around 7 pm, for a check in at 9pm, that too without charging anything! This booking was necessitated when another online portal, boasting of home sharing 'Super Hosts' rejected a booking made the previous night, as late as around 5.30pm for same day booking, with reason"already booked". Booking.com is the absolute delight, should be for all. Other one is all flat balloon without any Air in it. Coming to this property, it was very clean, hygienic and peaceful with clean linen, very good working AC, water heater, kettle, tea coffee packets etc. Located in the central part of the city, next to the leading big hotel in the city, and with ample parking space. Absolute value for money. Sad that I only had a night to spend. Will come back whenever I need. And will recommend this to other business connections. Will be good for families too due to its location (walking distance to many key spots n good restaurants), cleanliness and parking.

Compared to the rates, the room, facilities and location is excellent. Room was spacious, clean, had natural light coming, bathroom was also clean and necessary toiletries were provided. Location is central, good neighbourhood and has many good restaurants nearby serving mangalorean cuisine. Public transport available right outside the hotel premise. Shopping ares are also nearby.

Breakfast was a low point here. I did not like the quality. We were served neer dosa which got dry very soon. Sambar was average to taste. Nor many variety either but that is expected.

Breakfast terrible. Looked like it had just been sitting there for 4 hours. Had to ask for more butter. The tables weren’t cleaned. The entire restaurant needs to be redone and air conditioning installed.

The location was excellent for us as we wanted to stay overnight to catch a morning flight. It was no frill straight to the point hotel and delivers as promised. A practical value for money place for travellers. With lots of good places to eat around.

Windows opens into another building just 10 ft away, but that hardly matters if rest of the things are true value for what you pay.

The room was clean and quite spacious. There was always hot water available, though it wasn't needed since it's summer. Staff helpful and kind.

Nothing of major consequence. But if there is a covered car park, it would be nice. It helps in summer.

I was in Mangalore for less than a day. Since I had an early morning train to catch, needed to be as close to the station as possible and Treebo Trend Pappilon Palace was the ideal hotel, given its location, proximity to the station and my budget. The warm and friendly nature of the staff made my stay all the more worthwhile. My train was at 5 a.m. and they assured me that in the event I don't find a rickshaw at the time, they'd drop me to the station. I wished that I'd stayed longer and am glad that I won't need to hunt for another place to reside at, whenever I visit the fascinating city.
