Breakfast was generous and staff very attentive. The space is extremely cramped and uncomfortable. Hot food to order was very good. Last 2 days the poori Bhaji was very bad, pooris were cooked over extremely high heat - cooked on the outside and raw on the inside. Jalebi was a real treat. Chicken dish on offer every day, definitely give it a miss. Excellent chai and filter coffee. Good selection of breads.

Had dinner with friends at the Konkan cafe. Beautiful decor and good staff were the highlights. Food was very disappointing. The chicken curry was very lacking in flavor. Lamb biryanis had perhaps 3 or 4 pieces of meat, no flavor. Veg curry was good. Paratha was nice. Dessert was better than the meal. Not recommended. Not sure how a lukewarm shower translates to environmental benefits but I disliked the lack of hot water. Rooms are revamped and minuscule compared to the room we stayed in before. President hotel is about profit and we definitely did not enjoy it as much.

The room was old but very functional, with a really comfortable bed and a fabulous view of the sea. The breakfast at Trattoria is considered legendary and rightly so, with a sumptuous range of foods, perfectly seasoned and cooked. There were a few minor niggles, especially with room service, but that was mostly due to my very specific requirements. Chef Chatterjee resolved all my issues and arranged a perfect meal for me.

There is construction right outside the hotel which blockades the entrance, but that is not within the hotel's control

amazing staff, great location and good food! i also used the spa services while i was there and had one of the best massages of my life! thai pavilion is a must-try restaurant as well. the breakfast options in the morning is quite varied, catering for both local and continental cuisine. the staffs were all very polite and attentive to our needs, a sign of good training! the premises were spot clean and the location is well known among taxi drivers, which makes it easy to travel by taxi from the hotel. the view from my room was stunning, immediately putting us in a good mood every morning!

The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was breakfast .. There weren't enough items for breakfast .. Most of what was there was from Hindi cuisine, famous for its many spices, and that didn't suit me because I wasn't used to breakfast on spices .. I wish there was a Universal Breakfast that would allow everyone to choose what suits them .. I had booked my breakfast stay for 3 days, I ate only a meal and did not repeat the experiment .. All features of the hotel is great, except breakfast.

Nice quiet room on the 7th floor. Spacious room, full amenities, instant hot water, super clean, top of the line linens, blackout curtains, nice view. Cleaning staff were awesome, plenty of coffee, tea and creamer. Comfy bed, good lighting. Gym was top notch and the pool area was nice. Staff very professional. Great breakfast buffet, one of the best.

Small charges for English language channels was annoying. Restaurant prices were the highest in India. Not worth the price, but the food was good. Don't book taxis or transport through the hotel.

The water was not good at all and it spoilt my health …. I found it very unhealthy … it caused stomach upset and it was v heavy …. It also tasted of some chemicals …or high chlorine …. V v v bad water considering it’s for drinking purpose …. Urgent request to bring back the Himalayan water bottles bakc asap. Two pple from trattoria where I had breakfast were extremely kind and hospitable and need to be praised and promoted… they are Mark and Rajeshree. They deserve the best …. All the best to them

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The property itself is well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were very comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to help and make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality experience with great service

There was an unpleasant smell in the hallway as soon as you come out of the lift before entering the room

Rooms are small, but it's South Mumbai.. so no complaints, and they are well provided. The bathrooms are also decent sized and functional. Given the popularity of the hotel and number of rooms, the breakfast area ought to be increased... it's a little noisy and crowded at the moment. The choice in the breakfast is good. A very special mention for Manager Asif and Chef Vikas at Konkan Cafe for curating our meals and going above and beyond expectation. Our guests were very pleased and overall full marks to this team. I am grateful for their support and flexibility in accommodating requests, even at the last minute.

The check-in was horrible. I had booked 3 weeks in advance, and when we arrived around midnight (two people in the team had flown in after an 18 hour flight)... we were informed that rooms were not available. It took over an hour to resolve. The staff on duty were wonderful (Prapti and Prasad worked extra hard and were very patient with me, despite my angry outburst) ... however, the person who was supposed to be "single point contact" ..and with whom I had been coordinating the entire stay and conference, was nowhere to be found, for the entire duration of my stay.

Had bad start with the upgraded room we were given at check-in actually being dusty, old and with bedsheets that did not look fresh. Hotel promptly put us back in the room we had paid for 2 floors down which as excellent. All staff very friendly from housekeeping, front desk, porters and especially the lovely crew in dining room. Great gym and pool facilities.

Our room did not have a room safe or enough drawers to unpack clothes for 5 night stay. Everything else was fine.
