Beautiful property, well maintained with air con throughout the premises. Fresh flowers decorate the ornate entrance and the staff are all so smiley and friendly. The staff couldn’t do anymore to make our stay better. Big thanks to Laxmi who arranged a beautiful honeymoon surprise of cake and flower in our room. Shikha and Deepansha helped to arrange Indian SIM cards for us. Deepansha also helped us arrange cars and even checked to make sure we got to our next hotel safely! Chef Joshi made our experience unforgettable by spoiling us with beautiful Indian dishes each morning. We tried EVERYTHING! and finally a huge thank you to Vishal and Vikas who gave us so much advice and taught us so much about India over tea. We feel we made great friends on this trip and would love to visit again! Best start to our honeymoon.

- Breakfast and High Tea options could have been better for the price point. (have had better at similar hotels ) - Service was sporadic. Some were exceptional well, while others just wanted to get over with the work. The service levels during both days of breakfast varied vastly for example. - Super busy lobby area during evenings, since most of the banquets are connected via the lobby, as a guest I found myself overwhelmed with the sheer number of people in the lobby which was a serene oasis just in the morning.

Right from Khushboo at the front desk to the restaurant hostess, the extremely talented live musicians, the gym and wellness team to the bell boy, servers, hotel staff- each Taj employee worked most efficiently in making our stay warm, comfortable and truly perfect! Special mention must be made of the duty manager and their team who went above and beyond in making my daughter’s birthday so very special: the thoughtfully and beautifully decorated room in perfect timing to surprise her, the cake she got after our wonderful dinner at Spicy Duck, the server’s singing- will all go into making the happiest memories for us! Special mention must be made of Mr Anuj and his Concierge team, Mr Hawa Singh, Mr Suresh, all of whom got together with their boys to arrange for my last minute ticket requests and going out of their way in making sure we got all the help we needed and get to our flight on time: it was clearly not just a transactional deal for them, they did everything for us like family in the true spirit that Taj has upheld for decades. Nothing is left wanting for us anymore, except for us going back again! Thank you, everyone!!

A modern luxurious hotel with a grand lobby and lovely decor. There was live piano playing in the lobby which was a nice touch, all the staff were very helpful and friendly and we received flower garland around the neck on arrival, it was a lovely experience. Food was good at the restaurants and overall oit was a comfortable stay. We had breakfast included as part of our package, and it was great, fresh dosa and pancakes, fruit and a great selection of everything you might want, staff very friendly and helpful also.

A small gripe, we enquired with concierge about booking us a taxi to take us to the airport and we were quoted 4000 rupees (£40), so we ended up taking an uber instead for 400 rupees (£4), we knew that it would cost more if the hotel organised this for us, however we were surprised at how much more it would cost for the hotel to arrange. Other than that, we loved our stay at Taj, and will love to stay there again.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive from the minute we walked through the door to the time we left. We were offered an upgrade (at a cost) to a suite and as it was the last few days of our month long holiday staying in many cheaper options in India, we decided to accept. So glad we did, it was a lovely end to a fantastic trip. Beautiful rooms, clean, comfortable bed, robes, slippers, fresh fruit and a complimentary bottle of wine. The price also included afternoon tea 3.30-5pm and free drinks/nibbles from 6.30-8pm. Again, the staff were excellent, especially the twin brothers. The pool was a good size and we were kept supplied with cold bottles of water. The staff around the pool noticed our need for shade so moved the parasol as and when the sun moved ...very attentive! All in all a fabulous stay and well worth spending the extra cash 😍

We spent 3 lovely days at Taj Palace during our visit to Delhi. The food and accommodation were excellent, but it was the very friendly staff and other guests that made our stay memorable. We were greeted and welcomed by Roshi at reception. The breakfast was outstanding catering for Indian and international tastes. Albert and Pravesh in the restaurant/lounge and Lawrence on the piano ensured all guests further enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend it, the location is convenient to the airport and situated in a green & uncrowded area. Price is great value too.

We could only stay 3 days. It was a lovely refuge from the traffic and noise of Delhi.

What's not to like and love about this hotel. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we were greeted and treated superbly. The delightful and friendly staff through out the hotel made our stay such a pleasure and so enjoyable. The food in the restaurants was exceptional and the service was out of this world, nothing is to much for them. Special thanks to Sumit and Dinesh and Chef Joshi for cooking up some wonderful dishes in the Capital Kitchen, things that were not even on the menu. 10/10 on all fronts

The location, welcome, clean and comfy. Room facilities very good. Pool area clean and tidy. Staff attentive

Unfortunately there was construction work going on inside, but this was carried out mostly in the evening which did not make for comfortable dining or relaxing for a chat in the foyer lounge!! Work be better if works carried out during day when people are busy coming and going, rather than the evening when people are at hotel for an evening meal and to relax. I spoke with staff and they attended to the complaint, and offered a discount on our costs for the inconvenience.

The staff at the Taj truly stands out, making every effort to ensure a remarkable experience with their attention to detail. They were incredibly courteous and prompt in their service. We ordered food from outside, and they kindly delivered it to our room. I also accidentally left my glasses in the room, and not only did the housekeeping team clean them, but they also left a bottle of glasses cleaning solution for future use. Thoughtful gestures like these make guests feel genuinely cared for. A special shout-out to Mandeep Harshul for their exceptional service!

When we arrived, there was a conference taking place, which appears to be a regular occurrence at the hotel. As a result, the staff seemed quite busy managing the event, and there were moments when no one was available to assist us with our inquiries.
