The room was really nice, clean and a good size. The bathroom was good size and clean. The only comment I would make is that the pillows are too soft, they should provide slightly firmer pillows or have the option to request one.

I wasn't happy with the fact that they add extra charges when you get there, when i book on booking.com i would like to know the exact charge not be told at the hotel that i have to pay extra. Defeats the object of booking online.

Lots to like. Pleasant and professional staff. Excellent location and food. Fairly well maintained property. There are many conveniences inside the property which is very helpful at times. Very nice breakfast, lots of choices. 100% would stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Delhi.

Could focus more on cleaning what doesn't reach the eye. I dropped something on the floor and it rolled under the bed. I wish it hadn't happened. What I saw was horrific. It was so dusty, there was one disposable bathroom slipper, couple of empty soda bottles, and receipts and such. It's understandably a difficult place to clean, but ignoring it altogether isn't the way to go.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Located in diplomatic enclave opposite British Embassy. Easy access to all area of the Delhi. Also the hotel property is very nice and grand. The staff was very good and helpful. Everyone so polite and friendly.

Although the property is very nice however its easy to spot sign of ageing property in many areas. For example shower enclosure was leaking and water was coming out in to rest of the bathroom. Windows runner were dirty. Also feel dated in some areas. Also we tried buffet dinner on one night at The Coffee shop restaurant, my recommendation would ve to avoid. It's very overpriced. The quality of food is average and taste is not good too. For the same money can eat elsewhere which we did the night before and we were 3 adults 1 child drinks were included. So yes don't bother with buffet

I loved everything about the stay except the room service was knocking on our door couple times a day. Breakfast was fantastic! I loved how the staff treated us and greeted us every time they saw us. It was really a wonderful stay.

First, the key cards kept getting de-magnetized and it was such a hassle having to go to the front desk everytime we come back to the hotel to get it magnetized again. They need to get their system working properly or get a new system honestly. Also, the room service folks is too good at their job(?) - they would knock at our door couple times a day sometimes even after it was serviced, and they would call our room at random times which really startled us, just to see if we're alive! (Maybe I haven't stayed in enough hotels in South Asia because this never happens in hotels in North America) Also, they only gave us ONE key card until we asked for another one, even though there were two people staying in the room.

I was very sceptical to book this hotel because of the low rating and bad reviews they've got. I took the risk and it paid off. We had a really good time in the Ashok. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We loved the location- away from the noise and traffic- we could truly relax in peace. Staff at check in at check out were very polite. Also massive thanks to the manager who was trying to help me when my husband was sick and needed a doctor.

Even though there seems to be a lot of staff in the restaurants, the service is slow. They need to be more efficient.

The pool and gym facilities are great. Good breakfast menu.

Can sometimes be noisy. We heard music playing from the pool area most of the night and at soms point some motor was on well into the night and was very loud. Despite the breakfast being good it is not comparable with western 5 star hotel breakfasts. The little details are missing here and there.

Location and accesibility, Frindly Staff, Facilities bathroon was big and clean (but the Shower cabin doors did not close properly). Flexible

The Sound proofing of the Windows. The Hotel has couple of Multi purpose hall and parties with loud musics were on until 2 a.m could not sleep well. Breakfast buffet had same set of items every day. At least the main course items can be changed alternate days.

Very convenient location. All staff senior or junior were very courteous and helpful. Kamlesh at Reservations was particularly very helpful . Breakfast was very good , again all staff in the restaurant was ready to go out of the way to get you anything you wanted. Food in all restaurants is very good. Food in restaurant Oouddh was excellent. Air conditioning was very good and so was hot water in the bathroom. we were a party of 14 and had booked 7 executive suites and they were fairly big and comfortable.overall experience 5star. we have stayed many times and will stay again.

children under 12 were not allowed in the swimming pool. We were very disappointed with that. couldn’t find the reason why they couldn’t swim with their parents.

1. For check out only one staff was made available at Check out counter,, whereas even not having a single check-in customer, three staff were available at Check-in counter. On request on duty staff denied to operate check out counter with plea that he was not authorise to do so. 2. Quality of food need improvement.

Everything is awesome. Ambience was splendid and outstanding. Front office team is excellent. Breakfast was also very nice except few. Dosas were yummy. Fruits Salad was not that great. Iddly was bad. Vada was perfect along with Sambar! Paranthas were mouth watering!

Requesting to pay money for 15% discount on Food and Beverages. There are hotels in Ashok which don't comply with these discounts. you have to be careful and ask the hotel you are entering about whether this belongs to THE ASHOK? Else you will end up paying surprising bills.
