Excellent location in the heart of a safe and well-kept area of New Delhi. The hotel is within walking distance of the charming Khan Market and just a 10-minute drive from several impressive temples and tombs. The breakfast was pure luxury – everything from classic Indian dishes to Western favourites, freshly made and with plenty of options. It was also a real plus that the air conditioning kept running even when the key card wasn’t in the room – a lifesaver in the heat! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive; they recognized me and always remembered which room I was staying in. Small details like that make all the difference.

Our room (154) was located near a kitchen area, which caused a bit of noise in the evenings – not too loud, but definitely noticeable

Staying at The Claridges was much more than just accommodation – it was an experience of grace, tranquillity, and thoughtful hospitality that will stay with me for a long time. The hotel is a beautiful example of post-independence Indian modernist architecture, exuding a sense of timeless elegance without ostentation. After weeks of travelling through the Himalayas, The Claridges offered the perfect balance between stillness and vitality – a place where I could unwind in green gardens and quiet corridors, yet still feel the pulse of the city. The atmosphere is truly unique: warm, refined, and deeply personal. The rooms are stylish and spacious, the beds supremely comfortable, and the breakfast exceptional. The service is unfailingly courteous and discreet, creating a sense of both comfort and freedom. What moved me most, perhaps, is that this hotel seems to have a soul – a rare quality in today’s world. If you’re looking for a place in Delhi that combines calm, character, and quiet charm, I wholeheartedly recommend The Claridges. It is not only a hotel, but a place to breathe.

Location was perfect for what we wanted to do and see in Delhi. The staff were great at solving some of our logistics. However some of this I thought we had confirmed before arrival but had to be checked and double checked as staff rotas changed. All were helpful and accommodating - even the guys on security!

Our first room was quite small and in the noisy corridor as they refurbished other rooms. This wasn't great but we were out and about mostly. The balcony wasn't that great as again the workmen were busy. The follow on visit we had a pool view room which was bigger but darker and thankfully no workmen!

Luxury accommodation and superb staff. Lovely outdoor pool (heated to about 30 degrees) and a choice of four stunning restaurants, as well as a patisserie, a cocktail bar (Aura, pictured), and superb breakfast buffet - all within the hotel, mean you don’t even have to go out if you don’t want to. For those who do, Khan Market is very close, and major sites are within a tuk tuk or cab ride. Or stay at the hotel and have a massage, sauna or steam. From the moment the doorman welcomed us, to the moment the hotel driver dropped us off at the airport, we were extremely well-looked-after.

It is a traditional old English 5 star hotel. It has a wide variety of restaurants and the bakery is spectacular. The room is completely renovated and the bed and bathroom are incredible but the size of the room is a little small, considering the large size of the bed.

What I liked the least is that there are events being held continuously in the hotel (weddings, parties, etc) so that it´s always crowded with people that invade the space intended for guests such as the pool or other common elements. This is a problem because it is not a very big hotel and the common space is very limited .

• The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around the city. • The airport pick-up service was very smooth, and I appreciated the efficient transport by driver Amit. • The overall property is quite nice, with a charming ambiance. • Dinner was a highlight! There’s a wide variety of options, with plenty of delicious Indian dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

• Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was a bit disappointing. It felt damp and lacked ventilation and now shower just bath which I felt a bit older. • There was no window, which made it feel quite enclosed and dark. • The room could definitely be improved to match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

This is by far the nicest establishment to stay. My family and I, are so grateful for their kind, warm and genuine hospitality. We travel with our elderly grandmother and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms have been recently renovated and we were very kindly given an upgrade - it was such a lovely surprise! Airport transfers were the most wonderful and hassle free experience, with sincere thanks to the hotel concierge desk. Here’s a few names of the sweetest staff at Claridges that made our experience so special. My sincere apologies if I have missed someone equally deserving of our appreciation. Jeet and the other gentleman who graciously received us at the airport. Sanjay and Dhyan who drove us. Prabh, Deepak, Meenu, Supreet and others at the front desk who looked after us so well and always took our requests with utmost care and regard. Chef Sachin for the best food I’ve ever eaten in Delhi. Kamlesh and his team (breakfast), Bharat, Sanjay and the people who looked after us at the restaurants. Rajesh, Ram, Deep and other porters. Last but not the least, Ambesh for the simply spectacular service in ensuring we have a true Claridges’ experience. See you next time!

Loved the service, room, property. Loved that they served complimentary desserts and fruit in the room, and desserts with coffee orders. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Booking promised breakfast at the rate of Rs 1000 which hotel did not honor. For this there needs to be better communication between Booking and hotel. I formation was misleading.

The hotel is very beautiful. It is centrally located and had amazing facilities including spa, swimming pool, gym and several restaurants and two bars. Really enjoyed the gym, a game of pool and the spa. Breakfast was lovely with gorgeous savoury and sweet options and we enjoyed drinks at the bar before heading out to dinner. The room was comfortable and the staff were lovely.

Guidance about the facilities and hotel information could have been better. The hotel is very big and we were not provided with this information on check in.

The highlight of our family trip to New Delhi - I am so glad I booked this hotel! Simply excellent facilities with full gym, spa and pool, exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms, excellent buffet restaurant and wonderful, helpful staff.
