Really lovely room and great dining options. Staff were all really welcoming and attentive.

Only downside was that a lot of the facilities were closed due to renovations (pool, spa, gym) This wasn't obvious at the time of booking so was quite disappointing but we still had a lovely stay

Room and common areas in great condition and very clean. Room cleaners did an excellent job, and room service staff also very good. Doormen also really good. Hotel well placed for short car trips to Connaught Place and sites. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice and very good quality food and attentive staff.

Pool area was nice but a lot of teenagers in the pool (unsure if hotel guests or day visitors) made it noisy and not so easy to have a relaxing swim both times we went there. Hotel staff didn't ask them to quieten down. Car cost from airport to hotel was 10 times the cost of a high standard Uber for the same journey. Guest relations person escorted us to our room and pushed us into joining the Shangri-La loyalty membership scheme while she stood over us, while we were trying to unpack, etc. Chai restaurant costs very high for what you get, ad service very slow. Spa treatment very expensive.

- I have a very sensitive nose (allergic rhinitis) and struggled with sneezing every day in the hotel room (and I won't have that if I am out of the hotel room). Suspected the aircon produces dust mites and allergens, as well as coming from carpets. Was struggling to stay in the room to do my work. - Experienced 6-7 times power short circuit trips in just three days hotel stay. Although the power trips lasted no more than 1-2 mins each time, it shows a lack of energy amperes capacity in the hotel building. Not great for a 5-star well known hotel to be having that frequent power trips.

I'd booked the room for my parents. The hotel staff, Monica and Gaurangi, swiftly arranged for a wheelchair for my mom when I informed them my mom had twisted her ankle at the railway station. The hotel also had a nurse come up to the room and examine my mom's condition upon check in. The next day, the hotel travel desk arranged for a superb and clean car with a fantastic chauffeur to take my parents around for their visa appointment, drive them back to the hotel for lunch before finally dropping them back at the railway station for their train back from Delhi. The chauffeur was super helpful and helped my parents to board the train as well. Oh , additionally, the reception staff offered them a late checkout from the room. And the breakfast buffet spread at the hotel is the best and the most elaborate breakfast ever.

Everything was perfect! Services, location, tidyness. Ehatever you would ask to have for your extra comfort, this place had it. It will be my point of reference anytime in Delhi in the future. Highly recommended.

If i may give just a little advice, the process of blocking the money upon arrival is done without a lot of explanation and the front office staff was not in my opinion at the same level with all the rest of this perfect place, a bit too quiet and not willing to explain, no suggestions as to what to do in the nearby area

Very clean property that goes above and beyond for their guests. I was working UK hours and they accommodated extremely well and had good space for those visiting on business. I would recommend the horizon club as they had a vast range of canapés and also a designated time for tea and cocktail hour. The view from our room allowed us to see India gate and the location was superb and close to all the main sites and markets in Delhi. It is also walking distance from Bangla Sahib Gurdwara which is outstanding and worth a visit

Very comfortable room, hotel was very clean, lovely ambience in lounge and restaurant. We appreciated the early check-in and the happy hour - thank you to Muskan, Namira and Anjali for their help and attention in the lounge. We were very pleased with the amazing breakfast buffet which catered to variety of palates. The entire hotel team was professional, welcoming, friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable. They are great representatives of the Shangri La brand. The hotel is a well kept oasis of calm especially after a busy day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel. Only downside was staff not always attentive. We were a group of nine having a drink outside 2 members of staff at different times were asked to bring extra chairs so we could all sit down, they didn’t bring any so we just had one drink then left. We also ordered a packed breakfast at check in as we were leaving at 6 am. We gave our order but the next morning we discovered it hadn’t been put through so we didn’t get it. For the standard and cost of the hotel I would have expected these things to be done.

The breakfast was great. Specially aarti was very helpful and friendly. Laxman rao ji too. Room was well designed and comfortable.

Pool timings were atrocious. We are not living in europe that people will come out during day hours to swim. Closing the pool at 8 is downright stupid. It was closed at 4 pm one day. Very enraging and the only reason i will avoid shangri la in the future. Hire more people and Keep it running for 24 hours. I don’t know who makes such low iq rules.

Rooms are well maintained. Staff is extremely friendly and supportive. Breakfast spread is huge and lots of variety. At front desk we had a great support and guidance by Zubeir Khan and his team. Also I don’t recall the exact name but there was a lady at their front desk Neparna, who supported us with our membership with the Group, along with her colleague Danish. Most of the key markets are around the hotel. Definitely recommended property.
