The location of the property is excellent, walkable distance to Cannaught Place and metro . The best thing about this property is the courteous nature of the staff . Everyone from the gate watchman to the reception staff all are very polite and helpful. All your concerns and issues will be dealt with immediate assistance. The breakfast spread was elaborate and delicious. The room was good in size and all other facilities like swimming pool,gym etc are very well maintained.

Although it is a 5 star hotel there are few things which this hotel doesn’t provide as compared to a 4 or 3 star hotels. 1. No welcome drink 2. the bathrooms were not clean 3. the room amenities were not complete like no drinks provided in the bar 4. not enough toiletries were provided

Service was prompt and efficient. The on-site restaurant Balachi good and room service and laundry was handled well.

This is nice hotel but it's ridiculously busy. The lobby is packed so full of people coming and going it feels like a train station. Front desk staff were nice enough but they were simply thumping through the guests checking in and out. It's not that it's bad, its just incredibly impersonal. It's also expensive, which is fine but the rooms are fairly standard business hotel type rooms affairs with zero personality. During our trip we stayed at Oberoi and ITC properties as well and this was by far our least enjoyable experience without anything in particular being wrong.

Our second stay at The Lalit Hotel in Delhi was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were once again impressed by the exceptional hospitality of the staff and the overall comfort of the hotel. The location is unbeatable, with Bengali Market and Connaught Place just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. We were treated to a spacious corner suite on the 21st floor, offering breathtaking views of Delhi as an added bonus. The nine-day stay was made even more enjoyable with a complimentary breakfast, and we were delighted to also enjoy breakfast at the executive lounge. A truly memorable experience that we can't wait to repeat!

Great location. Check in was good — special mention Altaf and Priya who helped get me a decent room. Also in the lounge excellent service by staff - especially Aakash & Aayushi. Also at breakfast Jitender k and Simran. During the stay there was a glitch with computer ( in which the hotel thought I had not paid, when I had) - I was understandably annoyed — but issue resolved by Priyam -( manager) - all credits for his professional and courteous behaviour. He handled and resolved the issue admirably.

Everything good - though lounge could have a few more items on food. Plus more variety of drinks

Great location, lovely staff, best bed I've ever slept in. Pool was fabulous and great for an evening cool off.

The first night there was hammering noise nearby. I spoke on various occasions to staff and although they promised it would stop, it didn't. Not acceptable in a 5 star hotel. There was a lack of western food in the restaurant and in particular gor breakfast.

The property is well located near the central part of the city. The standout were the staff, right from the gateman to the executives - they were helpful, extremely friendly and polite and made you feel at home right from the first minute! We were skeptical based on the reviews but we were delighted to have chosen the hotel. On our next visit to Delhi it will be a no-brainer - we will be staying at the Lalit! The food was fantastic and the bar was fun!

We ordered a taxi once and received an old Delhi taxi which took us for a ride and didn’t even reach us to our destination. The hotel should ensure that these taxis are not allowed to ferry their hotel customers!

Spacious room and great view from floor 24. Room very comfortable and clean. Really comfortable bed and excellent pillows. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice with food and juices. Bar had good ambience and was a nice place to hang out for a drink. Staff were lovely, really helpful and polite Good selection of tv channels and movies in different languages. We would definitely stay again.

Not much to complain about but if I'm being picky, check in could be improved. We weren't given much info about the hotel (breakfast info, how to get to room, pool, restaurants on site etc) Drinks were expensive Hairdryer in room didn't work

We stayed here 3 times over our holiday in India and used this location as a base for our trip. The hotel is beautiful, grand and smells delicious! The service in the lobby from the staff are superb, however it loses a star for the front desk and thee front desk service. Our check in experience was very frustrating and took far longer than it should, granted we were there at the same time as the G20 but the queues to check in were longer than any other hotel we stayed at in India and we stayed in 7 x 5 Star hotels. The front desk staff seemed quite miserable so I would put this down to process being very manual. Photocopies of passports of guests were visible at one point which was alarming. Since the lobby is so huge and comfortable with many seats, perhaps they can work on a ticketing system allowing guests who have travelled thousands of miles to be here a chance to rest until it is their turn to check in. Breakfast was good, particularly the Indian selection, they serve good coffee and copious amounts of delicious masala Chai. Ice in the bar is from filtered water so was safe to drink. We stayed in a standard room, a deluxe room and then the suite, a huge room which also includes executive lounge access. Our standard room was run down, the other 2 rooms were fantastic. For reference they were 1805 and 1215. The hotel is in close proximity to the famous connaught Square, so you can find so many restaurants and shops just a walk away. Room service menu is very expensive, there is a great restaurant called juggernaut which is on the corner and serves amazing food at a decent price. Big thanks to Pravan on the concierge team, he remembered us and was a welcome face every time we returned to the glorious Lalit. We will continue to stay at Lalit as our base to discover more of India.

Almost everyone I met at the hotel was friendly and trying hard to help, especially the doorman, room service staff and waitresses at the executive lounge. Hospitality was the best part of the stay. The hotel is at a central location, an easy walk to many good restaurants. Breakfast had a good vavariety of choices.

I stayed in 2 rooms, one on the 11th floor and the other on the 25th floor. Both looked dated with dust under the bed, and both had some mouldy smell. Bed was definitely not as one would expect from a 5 star hotel. It's a shame that on the customer experience questionnaire handed to me at check out, there was no request for feedback on staff performance, which was pretty much the only highlight I could find.
