The swimming pool is nice and the rooms are very big and comfortable, everything was really clean. We could do a late check out free of cost.

We did not get the room until 3 pm. We had to wait one hour in the restaurant. They gave us two drinks on the house but when checking out they were in the bill. Everything is overpriced, especially food and drinks in the restaurant, really expensive, does not make sense. Try to pay everything on time, not in the check out, otherwise you won’t understand the bill and what you are paying.

The service at this hotel is truly exceptional — far beyond what you typically find in Europe, even with all its refinement. They’ve managed to elevate luxury hospitality to an entirely new level. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted like kings, treated like royalty, and cared for like Bollywood stars. The pool area is ideal for both adults and children, and the playful monkey appearances add a charming touch. Keep an eye out for the General Manager and the Head Concierge — both are outstanding and truly elevate the guest experience. While the food was decent (not extraordinary), it’s the personalised service that sets this hotel apart - even a cake with my face on it. Every moment felt thoughtful and curated. The rooms were also exceptional — spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable.

We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and thought the Taj was exceptional in terms of personal service. Every member of staff was welcoming, spoke good English and was happy and able to help. The attention to detail in the hotel is evident across the rooms, the public areas and the gardens/leisure facilities which are all beautiful and luxurious as you would expect. However, it is the training and ethos of the staff which really sets this hotel apart. An example is how the hotel emailed to let us know something had been left behind in the room and offered to courier it to us promptly sending a payment link for a very reasonable amount. We have left things in hotels across the world and never been contacted about it before. Well done, Taj, and congratulations on your staff recruitment and training programme.

It would have been nice to have been offered a welcome drink on arrival after a long journey as the checkout took a while (family of six).

True luxury, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless and we really felt safe. The general manager Deepak spent a long time talking with us and it was lovely that he found the time given how busy he is. He is very friendly and welcoming. We can’t recommend the Taj Club enough- delicious food and cocktails during cocktail hour. Ansh & Jenny were so attentive and lovely to speak with. As we missed the Taj club on the first evening, they allowed us access on our last night after check out as we had a late flight which was extremely appreciated. The room was huge and comfortable, we slept great. We had room service one night and spent the evening watching Netflix which was needed after travelling Sri Lanka. It felt very homely. The cleaning staff are so thoughtful and truly go above and beyond. Ricks bar was lovely and we were recommended an Indian wine from Sula which was delicious. We also spent some time at the Captains Cellar bar and we met the amazing sommelier, Susmita. She was so knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips about where to travel to next in India. She is very passionate and great at her job.

Nothing, although we aren’t used to such a high standard of customer service so it took an hour or two to get used to but that is not a criticism.

ABeautiful Stay at the TAJ Mahal, this is our 3rd Taj hotel trip in India March 2025; including, Taj Palace Delhi, Taj Ghandinagar all stunning. The Taj Mahal New Delhi is a cut above the rest, is simply breathtaking, the views are stunning, the staff are brilliant, a special thanks to Sony and the Manager for the silk scarf and for settling us in, … this hotel boosts class and style, the food is brilliant, cleanliness is top class, defiantly one I will come back too…

We had a nice and spacious 1 bedroom suite which included the Taj lounge with really awesome staff. For breakfast, they offer a nice selection of made-to-order items, Western and Indian, which were quite tasty. You can also have afternoon tea, or wine & drinks in the evening (including hot and cold food, so you'll be too full for dinner afterwards). The hotel is close to the Khan market where we walked to, crossing the roads is a bit of a challenge 😀. There are other attractions nearby such as the Humayan Tomb, but better to get there in a car. Overall, we would certainly recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel impressed with its excellent location, spotless cleanliness, and thoughtful hospitality. Highlights included a vibrant Diwali performance and a fun Halloween event, complete with free snacks, making the stay memorable.

The hotel doctor disclosed my son's COVID test results to the hotel without my consent, and the hotel unnecessarily quarantined us in the room despite there being no quarantine requirements in the country. While they agreed to let us leave and refund the cost of the last night's stay, it has been two weeks, and I have yet to receive the promised refund.

The staff were amazing right from the security, valet, front of house, reception, housekeeping, in room dining and the Exec Lounge. They always went the extra mile and ensured our needs were met and that we have a wonderful and high quality experience. Swimming Pool was clean, a great temperature. High quality, high standards that made you feel that you were the only person staying at the hotel. Thank you!

As a frequent business traveler, this was my second experience with The Taj group, and overall, the stay was great. The hotel boasts an excellent location and beautifully designed rooms that truly enhance the comfort of your stay. The service staff, especially the doorman and support team, were extremely cordial and helpful, embodying the high standards of hospitality one expects from The Taj. However, I did notice that some of the reception staff and club room personnel lacked the usual "service with a smile" attitude, which was a bit surprising. While this did not significantly impact my stay, it stood out in contrast to the otherwise exceptional service. In conclusion, despite a few moments of less-than-ideal reception, my experience was largely positive. The Taj remains a solid choice for business travelers, combining luxury and convenience effectively. I look forward to visiting again and hope for an even more seamless experience next time.
