everything is perfect, food the room clean bathroom was clean and nice, only the smell was not good the hotel staff try to help with diffuser which help little. if I traveled to Mumbai India again, I would definitely stay in the same hotel, it's around the corner from Khan market.

waiting for the room was it take long time, I was tired from the long trip, but they say because I booked high category, I have to wait which doesn't make sense, because this is the only category that was offered by booking.com other came collect the key and I was still waiting. the reception lady was not that good.

The courteous, friendly, highly attentive and helpful staff make you feel at home. The hotel itself has an amazing history as narrated by some of the hotel's employees. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and featured a nice balcony. The location is exceptionally convenient, right in the heart of New Delhi access to airport to all important locations. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, excellent restaurants, delicious food, great breakfast, wonderful services throughout my stay.

Amenities such as soap-dish in the bathroom would be nice.

The facilities, the vibe and the location.

It is an old property, certain areas renovation work must be undertaken to match the quality offered by Taj.

Our room was spacious and the balcony at the front was lovely in the sunshine. Service was excellent and very helpful. We were unaware of Khan Market (short walk) but presume the higher room rate is due to the hotels proximity to this higher end ‘mall’ with western shops and a lively restaurant/bar scene.

After two weeks travelling around India we were unpleasantly surprised at the cost of dining in the hotel. It is essentially twice the price of any of the good hotels and restaurants we had previously stayed in, with no perceptible increase in quality - furthermore, whilst the outside dining was pleasant at lunchtime, the harsh lighting and uninspiring decor of the Yellow Brick Restaurant rendered the pricing totally inexplicable! We were also unimpressed with the bass boom from the DJ set whilst ‘enjoying’ and early evening drink in the bar.

The premium rooms are a little distant from the elevators, but the ambience is worth it because there is none of the faint smell of sewage that is evident throughout the main section. Their Yellow Brick Road restaurant is in the odor-free wing and served us the best full English breakfast we have had during our month in India. Very walkable location for Lodi gardens and Museum of Modern Art. Also right next door to the Khan Market, with excellent cafes and restaurants/ shopping/ ATM.

The Ambassador, like many older hotels in India has a sewage drain venting issue. It’s barely noticeable, but there.

Loved the location. The warmth of the team. The whole team was very hospitable and welcoming. Even the back end team had met us, and it was very nice to put a face to the team who gets it all together and functioning smoothly. Housekeeping team with Mr Ram and manager Laxmi had come personally to collect feedback and were very comforting. Loved the real retro vibes to the whole place. The hotel, the menu, the posters, everything

The rooms could be freshened in paint or maintenance, maybe. We had a slight musty smell, but that could be due to the rains and the AC. Otherwise no complains.

The room was very clean and spacious. The extra bed we asked for was delivered to us quite quickly and efficiently. Staff were helpful and made our stay rather smooth. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area, although when on the balcony, the sound of the cars remains inescapable, as is the norm for Delhi. The walk to and from the metro station is very fast, making the hotel very convenient to get to. Breakfast was mostly good, and there were many dishes that could be made to order.

The balcony is completely empty, with no single chair or table. The staff, although courteous, seemed distant - possibly reflecting the desires of business travellers but less so leisure travellers. The room where breakfast is served is very small, has strange decor and is quite hard to find. If you ask for anything to order for breakfast, it takes quite some time to arrive, and staff struggle to explain each dish, at least in English. The facade of the building seems ill-maintained and has paint peeling off; and the signage to the hotel is so small and unimposing that one could easily miss the entrance to the hotel.

Has all the conveniences of a good hotel. Breakfast has a wide selection and is very generous. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms, plus balconies, all facing an interior courtyard so they get plenty of light. Beds are comfy and linen is good quality. Kettles and fridges in the rooms. I’d stay here repeatedly.

The building itself is an old design, so the bathtubs are not suitable for those with mobility issues. I used the beauty salon - while the service was okay, the design was not appealing.

The whole experience was amazing. The whole team at the yellow brick road made me feel welcome and I enjoyed the menu and the food was outstanding From the gent that made my tea in the morning to the team in the evening where the service was always impeccable. The gentle that also served my room daily gave exceptional service and kindness

The view of all the dome in the centre, still unsure what it is. Maybe a pool there would be better

Location. At the edge of Lodhi Garden and Khan Market. In my judgment the best location among half a dozen of five and seven star hotels I have stayed in. It is an old property whose best feature is its low rise characteristic; embedded in the neighborhood. Unlike other more swanky hotels that look down upon the city.

It is old and things decays fast in the tropics. So in parts moldy and leaking. ACs often leak.
