What a great place to stay, in what in some ways is quite a quirky hotel. Staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Evening meals and drinks were of an excellent quality and very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices; lots of fresh fruit. The hotel is close to the town centre and is an easy walk to the old Portuguese quarter of Fountainhas. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

very nice hotel, great location and views. we had a nice room. Breakfast was also very nice.

the room was received late despite hotel confirming check in at 2pm. We did not receive towels when we checked in so had to ask and even then we only got bath towels, no hand towels or floor mat. So we had to ask again and even then only received hand towels. the staff seemed a little lost at times.

Lovely rooms in a plush hotel. Good facilities and very good staff, always on hand to help. Casino on site, but you would hardly know it if you are not a gambler - no noise, no crowds. Great pool and excellent views over the river. Good position within Panaji to visit town, Fontainhas, river and old Goa. Good breakfast and dinner restaurant - or open air by the pool. Wish I had stayed longer.

Large clean and very quiet and comfortable rooms. Powerful shower and good array of toiletries. Full facilities casino, spa and clean and good sized pool. Daisy and Brenda are friendly and ensured the best customer service. Excellent location, near the heritage area and all the best restaurants and shops. Wide breakfast selection. Staff constantly cleaning and upgrading place. Superb views.

Fantastic location, very close to the old Portuguese areas of the city with their beautiful old buildings. Amazing views over the lit-up Atal Setu bridge at night time. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Although there were many staff at the hotel, the Hanging Garden bar was understaffed with only one waiter. It wasn’t at all busy but took 30 minutes to get a couple of drinks. Perhaps they should concentrate less on the casino and more on the restaurants. It was very expensive relative to other similar properties we’ve stayed at.

Only complaint, the hanging garden restaurant was very nice and clearly marked as a ‘no smoking area’ but people were smoking cigarettes and Shisha pipes which engulfed in clouds of smoke whilst eating our dinner

The location on a hill is fantastic, beautiful views and near to best part of the city. The staff is attentive to one's needs. There is a spa with nice massages to relax at the end of the day. At sunset it is beautiful to see the boats sailing up and down the river Mandovi. There is live music on Sundays at lunch with Darryl which makes it a very special occasion. I was going to visit my late grandparents house and he dedicated a song to them.

The sink in the bathroom was too small. Towel rack was way too high and too small. The bathroom area was a foot higher. People with even the slightest of disabilities had difficulty in accessing the toilet especially for older people who use the bathroom at night.

A quaint hotel. Charming Breakfast was varied and delicious. The rooms were very large. I had a view of the Mandovi River which was excellent but my dad had an awful view of all the air-conditioning units outside

It was a real feat to pay them the deposit required to secure our booking. My international c/card did not work nor did bank transfer. In the end my cousin had to go pay the hotel in cash His is listed as a 5 star international hotel well... Don't know what everyone else does from overseas
