We stayed at Radisson Blu Temple Bay for 4 nights, staying in two sea villa cottages. First of all, the location is nice and quite central. The resort is on the beach, and is spread out over a large area. The resort grounds are well maintained and the pools are quite nice. Second, the villas themselves -- they seem a little bit outdated but overall are clean and spacious. The fixings etc could be more modern but these are minor points. Third, the service was excellent. Would like to highlight the F&B manager - Mr. Abdul who went above and beyond to help with whatever request we may have, given we had two small kids. All dietary restrictions were accommodated, and they were kind enough to pack us many goodies on the day we left on a roadtrip! The room-service times are long given the spread of the resort (40-45mins) but Mr. Abdul made sure everything was seamless as it could be. The food quality in general was quite good, but for vegetarians, it could be a bit better/more diverse. As a matter of comparison, we have stayed at Taj Fisherman cove a few years ago. The Taj was better in terms of accommodation (more modern and luxurious) and the sea villas were right on the beach (there was a security fence here), but the service at the Radisson was better, largely due to Mr. Abdul. Overall, A+.

Lovely meandering pool, lush greenery, within 5 mins of the temples. Amazing food at both restaurants. Very comfortable rooms ( stayed in the pool facing chalets). Spa and staff - Athithi and Melody were very welcoming and professional. The manager Santosh went out of his way to rectify initial issues I had and make my stay memorable. Priyanka at the reception was also keen to take feedback as I checked out.

All the staff- from reception to security and buggy drivers to lifeguards- can do with a little training on welcoming guests- more smiles, polite questions, good mornings etc. I had also complained about unresponsive room service on the first night and it was immediately addressed. Both the bars were very dull and lackluster, and bartenders not very knowledgeable. For such a lovely beachside property, this is quite surprising. The poolside fountains could be turned on considering they all seem connected. There are a lot of crows but likely can’t be helped due to the nearby fishing village. They were bursting crackers to scare them away though. It won’t stop me from returning.

Time stands still and you can truly unwind when every need is preempted and every expectation exceeded. The team constantly goes the extra mile to ensure you feel special. Even the smallest touchpoints in guest experience are taken care of with tremendous thoughtfulness and hospitality. The experience is unmatched even by some of the largest and most luxurious hotel brands. I would love to elaborate but that will eliminate the element of surprise should you stay here, which you absolutely must. Staff across the property are warm, cheerful, generous, and attentive. Special thanks to Abinash, Reshmi, Laxmipriya, Liancy, Pankaj, Chef Siva, Raja, Sheetal, Saloni, Pravesh, Surendhran and their teams for pampering us and making us so comfortable. You guys made our stay truly delightful and we are so grateful for your hospitality. The property is massive, set in a beautiful location by the beach. With over a 100 rooms (chalets and villas), it does not feel crowded despite being fully booked. The chalets and villas are interspersed with lush greenery, well-designed pools, winding pathways, event spaces and sprawling gardens. The architecture and overall aesthetic blend intricate heritage design elements and modern amenities seamlessly. Free buggy services take you around the property. A range of activities are offered for every kind of traveller, be it families with kids, the elderly, couples, friends, or solo travellers. The beach at the edge of the property is wonderful for an early morning or evening walk. The deck by the beach is a great option for those who prefer to enjoy the sea from a vantage point. The sea breeze and sound of the waves make the dining experience at the Wharf restaurant even more enjoyable. The food is delectable, with a range of interesting options to choose from. Best for sunset and dinners. Chef Siva and his team create a wonderful experience each time you visit.

The pool side chalet was an excellent choice we made for our stay. The pool was at our doorstep and it made all of us feel comfortable when our young children were at the pool. The pool side chalet rooms were spacious than what we had expected and the upholstery and the furnishings were tastefully curated. Most importantly, the staff working during the breakfast buffet went above and beyond to give us the best service available. We were a party of 24 with our family ranging from 7 years to 78 years old, and we were taken care of exceptionally well. Mr.Abraham and his team's hospitality made Radisson Blu Temple Bay's stay truly memorable.

Cleanliness!! Cleanliness!! And obviously cleanlinesss!!! Green green everywhere!! Private pool was really exceeded our expectations. Pure crystal clear pool water, automatically cleansing throughout our stay.! Authentic tasty food at the restaurant and in room dining food presentation was outstanding!!!! Jaw dropped moments at the private pool!!! We enjoyed like crazy!! Perfect stay for the people with kids! My kids aged 3 and 9 they were on cloud nine all the time!!!

Few lizards and at the pool and washroom area. U can’t complain because the entire area and atmosphere was filled with green trees and plants and flowers. We can hear soothing forest atmosphere noise everywhere.

Inordinate slow service in restaurants.nearly 15 of our family stayed there recently. My cousin from Canada stayed in Room 507 from 27-30 January 2025. He had a four year old kid. He ordered a fried egg and toast to room. Learning that it would take 40 minutes he transferred the order to restaurant stating he will eat at the restaurant after 40 minutes. The restaurant agreed and he turned up at the restaurant after forty minutes. The restaurant took another 40 minutes to place fried egg n toast on his table. Again dinner was organised for a group of eight at the Wharf and orders were placed for two big crabs in the forenoon . When v turned up for dinner Wharf took another hour and a half more to place the food on our table

Professionalism, support and hospitality of Mr. Pakaj who cared about us as a father. Big thanks for Mr. Abdul in the restaurant and Mr. lifeguard at the swimming pool for their care, attention snd support.Beautiful, well-kept area full of vegetation. Proximity to the Bay of Bengal. Huge swimming pool,the second largest in Asia. The best food I ever eat in my life in the restaurant wide selection of dishes.

Problem with card payment. We were not informed that the staff was half an hour late for our massage appointment. Our fridge was not restocked daily.The gym lacks dumbbells of lower weight for women. Once we had to ask for a towel and water because they ran out.

Loved sitting on the front porch, feeling the ocean breeze and watching the sunrise. Beautiful grounds and very accommodating staff. Very accessible to Mahabalipuram. We appreciated that there was a playground. The fish at Wharf 2.0 was delicious and we loved the location and seaside shack feel of that restaurant!

Our kids were delighted by the size of the pool. However, we were concerned about the water quality, since it appeared cloudy. We would have appreciated a poolside snack bar, but we were able to find someone to take a food/drink order. Finally, our room did not look as warm as those in the pictures, I would say it was a little more basic - our room was perfectly clean and comfortable, but I was a little surprised given the price of this place.

The pool area which wraps around is stunning It enables guests to have a bit of privacy. Layout in this area is good. The spa is excellent. Gardens are well maintained. Well greater on arrival Lovely lobby area. The Wharf restaurant is worth visiting as the food choice is good and great location by the sea.

The hotel seems to caters for Indian functions. The breakfast choice is therefore limited for European style breakfast. The bar area is ok but nothing special. Our room was good but the bathroom area needs to be updated as shabby.

I asked for a later check-out and was running late at the day spa and I felt my parents were bombarded to leave the room. They received more than 4 phone calls and had people knocking at the door asking them to leave. I understand that the room probably had to be cleaned for another guest but it was a little bit excessive and definitely made us all feel pressured.
