Everything. The staff especially Ganesh at reception. He couldn't do enough for us. Always smiling and helpful. Great welcome and farewell . The location is excellent, near restaurants and walking distance to the main sites. The room was super comfortable with a comfortable bed and great air-conditioning. The room was also bright and we enjoyed the views Hot water was well appreciated . All in all, great stay and value. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located on the main thoroughfare down to the beach which is packed with shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff were very welcoming especially Ganesh and the lady whose name I didn't get. We were able to pay with an international credit card at no extra cost. The room was large with a balcony - the shower worked well, you just had to wait a while for the hot water to come through but then it was very hot. Ganesh was particularly attentive during our stay offering us water and for the room to be cleaned.

The hotel does not provide breakfast but Joe's Cafe round the corner is excellent and good value. Unfortunately the beach like most beaches in India is strewn with litter and the occasional human faeces. The community needs to sort this out to make this a truly great tourist destination.

The rooms with attached balcony were good. It offered a place to sit. But there was no furniture or so ofcourse, as the picture shows. The room was basic for a stay at Mahabalipuram that's all. The Reception staff were helpful and caring.

As previous reviews said, there were some cockroaches in the bathroom. The building owners need to deal with this.

The ambiance was good and close to most of the restaurants and sightseeing places as they were all nearly within walking distance. The Helpdesk service was good. Attendants were helpful in giving service.

The washrooms need to be cleaned better and also provide with subtle fragrance. Indication of Hot and cold signs on the taps. Better to give rooms with proper cleaning and changing of good bedsheets. This is not a complaint but a suggestion.

The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the beach but at the same time be close to the town and main attractions. The staff is super lovely, they made us feel like at home. The room and facility are very clean. The owner is the most lovely person always there to help.

The location is close to lot of tourist places, Good number of restaurants around and safe to roam around night, The staff are helpful and we were able to rent a bike through them

The water pressure and the bidet pressure in the washroom could be improved

Cleanliness

No in-house restaurant but many hotels near by Main issue was mosquito but even that was cleared when they provided with all out

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who gave us good suggestions. Whilst basic, the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the beds super comfy. Good, hot shower. A great location in the main restaurant/shops road but quiet at night.

We could have done with more hanging space for clothes.

Modern hotel building at perfect location. Basic, but comfortable, perfectly clean and a very friendly staff. We had a very good 3 nights stay here with our family. With Joes Cafe and Gecko Restaurants close by. We walked easily to shore temple and butterball.

The cleanliness was good. It is also very close to the beach and sea side restaurants. AC was working in very good condition.

The hot water takes long time to come due to solar water heater sometimes.
