Jukung Guesthouse was a little gem in a great location only 2 minutes walk from the main street and 10 minutes from the beach. Very friendly staff and a lovely pool. We had the slightly more expensive suite rooms on the ground floor with a huge bathtub but still excellent value for the location. A very comfy bed with big pillows. Next door is the Naksa Warung which was excellent and very cheap. There was a hot and cold water filter in the kitchen right near our rooms.

Unfortunately the only place for smoking is by the front door so you have to walk past staff and guests smoking to get in. My bathroom vent was above the front door so sometimes my bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Cleaning service could be a little haphazard as they often forgot to replenish things like toilet rolls. I ran out three times. Some noise at night from the club across the road but could only hear it in the bathroom so not a big deal.

The place was clean and comfortable. Small room but with all the essential, including coffee/tea maker and filtered water tank in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to the main road, but not easy to find as no sign outside and at the end of a very small road not accessible by car. The driver had to stop us outside the indomarket, which is just a few meters walk.

The shower wasn't working properly. I opened the top bit and almost flooded the bathroom as the water was going everywhere. But the small lower part was working fine. Also, a sign to indicate the place from the road would help find it better.

We have stayed at Jukung before and as usual the accommodation is very good value for money and in a great area behind all the noise of the main street. The place is still one of our favourites. The rooms are large with a fan and good air conditioning. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom, though small, does the job. The shower is excellent with good hot water. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room too. It is fairly quiet but sometimes at night you hear the other people above if you are in the bottom rooms. The pool, though not big, is good for a cool down. Evi and her staff make the place like home.

We did a very late check-in, and staff was very welcoming and helpful, even though it was the middle of the night. Room was cosy, clean, and I loved all the details like the wooden do not disturb sign, or the traditional Balinese basket for the glasses. The terrace is huge, and perfect for eatin or hanging out. Free refill water available. Location is great, just a short walk to the Karang beach, and very quiet at night. The garden and pool are beautiful. Shortly, a wonderful homestay in Sanur!

Quiet, and conveniently located guest house, close to supermarkets & restaurants, and easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Superior room was a good size, with comfy bed, super cold fridge, TV with good channel selection, reliable wifi, effective air conditioning and bathroom with nice hot rain/hand held shower. There was also an outdoor drying rack, and table with two chairs, overlooking the pool. The pool itself was not big, but sparkling clean and great for a cooling dip or relax in one of the three lounges. A big plus was a water fountain at reception which provided hot, cold and normal temperature water. A la carte breakfast, included in our room rate, was delivered to our room each morning. We tried several options (order the night before); all were simple but tasty, and a great way to start the day. Friendly staff.

Water pressure in shower didn't seem as strong as on our previous stays. A couple of the bath mats were stained and past their use by date. Instructions on how to use the TV/set top box would be useful

Small and cozy guest house, location quiet but still short walk to services and to the beach (closest Karung). Rooms had basic amenities, but a bit worn out. I would not recommend breakfast but plenty of choices nearby. Staff friendly and helpful but didn't "do the extra mile". I would still go back bc of the location and to support small businesses.

junkung is a great place to stay nice clean pool just behind main street accesible by a very safe lane way if walking breakfast was good not a buffet but enough plenty of hot water excellent wifi rooms had everything you need plenty of drinking water supplied

Awesome staff who were helpful and courteous. Grounds, pool and rooms were well maintained and clean. Rooms are well serviced with a fridge, kettle etc

Nothing major, shower head needs attention.

Nice comfortable room, a very large balcony with good chairs. Good warm water in the shower, hot if you like. Well working arcon and ceiling fan. Room had a waterboiler and refrigerator. The breakfast in the room is nice. All staff is very friendly and caring. Close to a small and cheap family market and laundry service. Main road on 300 mtrs, beach on 800. All is better than you could expect from any guesthouse.

One night, we had a very noisy neighbor, but this is not a fault from the guesthouse.

Loved this guesthouse so much that we extended for another week. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable and the big balcony was a bonus too. The location is good, only a few minutes walk from the main road with shops and dining places and not too far from the beach. Theres also a little shop and laundry place next door which is convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

The only slight downside was that the WiFi was not that good.
