My wife & I had a most thorough enjoyable and relaxing six night stay at Puri Hiromi from March 28 to April 3. Puri Hiromi is very well located, being an easy less than five minute walk to Sanur Beach. The residences, while not exactly new or modern, are well maintained, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our breakfasts, delivered to our residence each and every morning, was exactly as we ordered, with a number of items to choose from each and every day. An added bonus was Puri Hiromi’s very close proximity to Brasserie Republique, where my wife & I dined seven times in total for lunches and dinners during our six night stay at Puri Hiromi. Brasserie Republique is one of the most outstanding, best, and consistent (quality, service, and “value for money”) restaurants we have ever dined in during our four trips to Bali, going back to 2002.

There was nothing not to like about our stay at Puri Hiromi.

The staff were brilliant but as a couple in their 70s management could change a few things to make it friendly for older people.

No banana chairs by the pool and very hard to get out so maybe stairs or grab rails. The beds were very low and difficult to get out when you have a back or keg problem and that timber surround had to go…. So many bruises on the logs and toes from running into it

We are a mature couple and would have appreciated steps into the pool, to get in and out. The pool was lovely, would just be easier with steps for us. Everything else was great.

Excellent location and our apartment (upstairs first floor) was very clean and nicely kitted out. Having a kitchenette is a real bonus. It's an easy 3-minute walk to the beach and every shop, bar or restaurant you might need is within walking distance. The walls of the upstairs apartments are almost completely made of glass. This does affect the sound proofing. Being so close to the action you can expect to hear the live music from across the road on a Saturday night. Not that it was a problem for us, the music was great, so we ended up over there for the night. If you're an early, light sleeper, then maybe not. The only thing we felt was lacking was the small, uncovered balcony. The staff were however the best part of our stay, with their helpful manner and genuine smiles. It was lovely.

The staff went above and beyond. All needs met 100% Great location For a solo traveller it ticked all the boxes. Breakfast wonderful, on time and still hot. Coffee was amazing too!

The room leaked, however the rain was very heavy. I asked for assistance as the water was on the floor. No dramas, though the towels were left there until the last night. 5 nights stay. l Wasn't able to use the couch as it was affected by the leaks. The pool is a bit tricky to access and hop out. No ladder as such. Mobility challenged Elderly or semi mobile would not be advised. I loved having the convenience of the pool, though I used it every day. Overall, the property could use a paint to tidy up. I'd stay there again though - pool room

Villa was idea for us, a couple with two teenagers who were able to have their own rooms and bathrooms. It was spacious and clean, the master bedroom is set apart from the main building. The pool is between the two buildings and was lovely. Very clean and cool...a must after walking around in the humidity! Excellent wifi. Staff friendly and helpful. Although there was some building noise around (this is Bali afterall!), we were in the end villa and it was quiet at night. We were there with teenagers, but if you had young children the pool is too easily accessed so more an older child/ adult set up. The location was fantastic in terms of restaurant and the food options available. Easy walk to the beach. Also now Icon Bali is built, about 1km away on the same street.

The aircon in the master suite was never fully up to scratch, even though it was fixed after two nights, it wasn't as cold as other ones. The tv signal wasn't working well in any rooms, which has seemed a constant thing every place I visit in Bali, and for us it wasn't a huge issue, but think about entertainment if you are going with kids.

The property was gorgeous and as pictured. The room with the private pool was so fun! There was even a little koi pond in the back too. Felt very private. There was another room above our lower level unit but the way the windows were done, it still felt like we had privacy when using the pool. Floating breakfast was fun but they don’t seem to have the pancakes anymore that I saw in all the review photos. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful. Bed was very nice. AC worked great. Plenty of room and light.

The facilities were beautiful and the staff did a really great job housekeeping each day but it seemed like the pool and shower and all the windows could used a pressure wash and deep clean.

The staff were all fantastic. As things evolved, like pool issues, power cut, we were kept informed. Our pool pump broke so Irene arranged the use of another apartment with a pool for us. This was all organized before we were aware as she realized that would need to be the outcome. The staff all communicate well with each other. This was made obvious when we spoke to one about a key, or breakfast etc, they were all aware of our requirements. We have never experienced this attitude anywhere else on our travels over the years. It made life so amazingly relaxed for us.

Leaving, so we booked another stay two days after we arrived home!

Great location close to a beach entry, lots of restaurants and shops. Luxury style appartment with kitchen, living area and separate bedroom. Great value.

The location of Puri Hiromi was excellent! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and extremely close to a large variety of shops & restaurants. Our apartment was, in places, a little tired looking but it was spacious, comfortable and very clean and despite being so close to the bustle of Sanur, very quiet and peaceful. The WiFi was very good. The staff at Puri Hiromi were all very friendly and happy to help us in any way such as making reservations, booking taxis etc..

The only drawback was the outside space (also a little tired) and private pool which was covered by a canopy of trees and had very little sun so we didn't really use it as an area to relax. Which was a real shame as we were looking forward to this.
