Formosa Beach Bunglow is located right on the beach. Every morning you step outside your bunglow, walk in the sand and eat a delicious breakfast right on the oceans edge- what a perfect way to start the day! The staff were very kind and always there and willing to help with anything we needed. They made us feel like this was our home for the five days we stayed (actually six because we ended up extending a night!). They are all very talented musicians and a lot of the time they were jamming together around the property, which created a very nice vibe to be around :) They managed to fit in time to clean our room every day, even though we were hanging around the property a lot. Our time here was relaxing and we left feeling refreshed, sad to leave but excited to return again one day!

Because we ended up staying a while, having a mini fridge and an electric kettle in the room would be a nice addition, especially for early risers like me who like to have coffee before the restaurant opens - but once again this was never much a problem because there was always someone up willing to pour a cup early if I needed it :)

The staff are AMAZING! So friendly and welcoming, they make it feel like home 😊 the room is really nice and spacious, everything is clean and they even give you a beach towel for your stay. The location is great o the north side with a great beach bar and restaurant to watch sun set. I would highly recommend staying here.

The wifi cut out a bit if you are working but everything else is great.

There is a weird smell in the bathroom, coming from outside probably. There is no window at the bathroom and the mosquito net is broken, we had quite a few mosquitos. Also, the surroundings around the property are not so clean, so we were walking to a different area of the island to spend our time.

We like our stay here. We were welcomed with a nice drink and cool towel which made us fresh from a long trip. When we check in the room, we had a crash on the room with the wooden funiture, the aroma from a essential oil diffuser, a thermos with unlimited refilled cold or water, and especially the comfy bed, we slept through the nights. All the staff is super friendly and attentive, they helped us to book a snorkeling trip with private boat. We had a memorable time here.

The live music from next door until almost 11 pm is loud, but it didn't bother us. You might ask for earplugs from the staff if you go to bed early.

All! The position, the kindness of workers, the cleaning of the structure, the good food for breakfast, lunch and the dinner with the good live music on the beach, in front of the sea.
