Puri Air Resort was close to a lot of good restaurants and bars. Puri Air was in a great location, you could hire a bike and ride around the whole island easily. You could watch the sunset from straight out the front of the Resort. The rooms were dated, but clean and the bed was comfortable. I had come from 5 star accomodation at Bali and did not feel uncomfortable. I would stay at Puri again. The staff were amazing, we had a couple of maintenance issues while we were there (toilet didn’t flush and power kept going out). The staff fixed it straight away each time.

The power went out quite often, but I am not sure whether it is because we were on an island or if it was the facilities. Regardless the staff fixed it immediately. The food was not great, we made the choice to buy breakfast else where even though it was included in the package. The cocktails seemed watered down, but you could get decent cocktails next door.

The location is excellent for sunset Beach viewing. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly.

Aircon send to be in need of some maintenance, it was just coping but certainly not cold. Power is on a pre-pay system and staying for a week we needed it topped up three times, one night it went out at 1 am and whilst staff were good about it they shifted us to another room with power until the morning. There is warning it is getting low in the room meter box, but we didn't know about it to warn staff. That should be included as part of checking in and if staying for a week then top it up accordingly to prevent it needing multiple top ups.

What's not to love....? The position was perfect, a few steps from the pool across a sand "road" and you are at the waters edge. Can swim in the sea at high tide, snokel a little, and perfect view for sunset. Amongst loads of bars and places to eat. Not too far from the harbour. Bungalows are gorgeous, beds are comfy, bath towel, beach towel, fridge and lockbox. So, so quiet. So relaxing. Spend a couple of days longer than you planned. I'm definately coming back. This area of the island seems to wind down around 9:30pm. Pony carts everywhere, it's gorgeous. Also met a lot of people moving accommodation from other side of island to here.

I love "island time" but tricky to find someone working. Any questions are best first thing in the morning. Pool bar is out of action. Holes in mosquito nets Other than that, I love it here

Position; right on the beach. On the opposite side of the island from the bustling harbour, Puri Air is in a peaceful sunset position in a sleepier spot on the island. Perfect for simply *relaxing* poolside (really lovely pool!) or beachside. Beach is good for swimming at high tide. Breaky; Tasty & good size servings of the classic island choices (pancakes, eggs-toast, etc), plus juice & fruit. Rooms; spacious, clean, cool, fresh (minty!). Lots of open shelf space for storage. Fridge. Bed comfy, fresh white linen, clean mosquito net, albeit a little small for this bed, still worked. Aircon efficient. Shower reasonable pressure, & good hot water. Staff; particularly friendly and helpful. Special mention to Efi for helping out to babysit at late notice and to Safira for friendly, happy service.

It was in an awesome location! I never needed to wear shoes after I arrived. The beach is beautiful and the sunset, Devine. It’s quieter than other parts of the island which was perfect for me. So perfect that I extended my stay 3 weeks.

For the price it was perfect. There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Loved the location right on the beach without paved road in between it and beach, like places have it closer to the port. Bungalows are spacious with nice decor. Pool area is great with views of the ocean. Two double beds can be put together and gives a lot of comfortable space if traveling a couple with baby. Breakfast was nice and eating with view of the ocean is perfect. So are the sunsets and the food served in the restaurant. Especially liked the pizzas.

There are some broken things here and there that could be fixed. WiFi only works close to the restaurant as extender did not work. The beach outside has a lot of dead coral so it's only possible to use in high tide. To see live coral and colorful fishes in high tide, you need to swim out at least 15min and the current makes it hard to swim back. In low tide we saw the deadly banded sea snake close to shore, so did not try entering here again. Walked 20min on the beach to Blue Marine Dive and had much better snorkling and saw gigant sea turtles.

Bagus sekali = very fine 5th time in Gili, I luckily found this spot in north Gili Air. Low season made it a perfect vacation, but also the resort was the perfect fit. Staff is wonderful, especially the Sulawesi born manager, always lovely and super friendly, caring for whatever the guests need. Location is a hit. The beach gorgeous, activities easy to organize. Accomodation is super comfortable, the pool big and deep enough to be refreshing (was so hot this time of year). I can only highly recommend this resort, that was obviously build with very good intentions and in this: successful. Congrat, you will see me again very soon.

The pool, was great. Staff were so nice and the banana and pineapple pancakes for breakfast were fantastic

The rooms were in need of a few repairs and always ants. I think if the owners were to put some work into fixing things such as fans and wiring and maybe a coat of paint then it would be perfectly

Amazing staff, very helpful and always greet you with a smile. Awesome location, the hotel has access to the beach so you can watch the beautiful sunset every night! Their restaurant is on the beach meaning every meal has a complimentary spectacular view. We stayed here for 10 nights, I could easily stay another 10!

Puri Air Resort was exactly as described. We did not have high expectations as it is 2 stars. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. It is all you can ask for on this lovely island. I would stay there again. Great location, really good bars and restaurants are close and you can watch the sunset.
