The Staff were amazing, they looked after us perfectly, with attention to our every need… faultless! Vyaana is located on the beach with great views across the turquoise sea to Gili Meno; very tranquil and relaxing. It is within easy reach of many eateries. The resort provided bicycles so we could tour the island with ease. Definitely worth a visit!!

I wasn’t aware that all hotels on Gili don’t have ‘hot’ water. The shower was tepid, but it was actually very refreshing. Nothing to complain about, loved it!

If we could rate it 11/10 we would. Vyaana resort is amazing. The rooms are very pretty, the facilities are great, they provide push bikes to use for free and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The location is perfect, in a very calm side of the island. The restaurant is great, many different options and very attentive to gluten free. The staff is the real highlight though, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and looked after. We also had a private romantic dinner at sunset on the beach, it was absolutely incredible, straight out of a dream! Hands down one of the best resorts in Gili Air!

Fantastic staff, right from our arrival to departure they were always friendly and eager to help us with anything - we cannot praise them highly enough. Rooms were very comfortable, very clean and well-equipped, with the morning cleaning and afternoon turn-down service completed quickly and discreetly while we were out. We were particularly warmed by the bed time story card and small sweets each day. Great AC, bathroom consumables, fridge, the facilities were perfect with the only exception being a lack of hot water. We found this very common in our travels in Bali and the Gilis though, and to be honest, a cool shower was preferable in a warm climate :) Great location on the West side with colourful sunsets backlighting Mt Agung and Gili T. Breakfast was welcome and very satisfying. We would love to come back. Thank you!

The staff were/service was wonderful. The beach front was more open than many other places on the island with large trees for shade which added to its natural appeal, and was where many meals were enjoyed. Perfect place to watch the sunset. Plenty of activities on offer + free bikes to explore the island. Also loved the pool.

Unfortunately the waters edge was more coral than sand but there are many places nearby on the island to swim. The resort ran out of several items on their menu which took a few days to replenish. The horse/cart operators hiked up the prices quoted by the resort.

Vyaana Resort is a beautiful hideaway on Gili Air, offering laid-back luxury just steps from the sea. Run by the lovely Lilly—who once worked at The Oyster Box in Durban, South Africa—this resort blends island charm with thoughtful hospitality... And THE BEST sunset views. The stunning pool areas is perfect for relaxing in tropical comfort, and the rooms are elegant yet cozy, with all the comforts you need for a dreamy stay. We also loved the nightly bedtime stories and the free bicycles make exploring the island easy. Plus, it’s just a quick walk from the island’s best pizza at Mama’s Pizza—the best pizza we've had outside of Italy.

Vyaana is in an ideal location on the beachfront for the sunset and peaceful days, away from the busier side of the island, however only a ten minute cycle to the beat snorkelling points! We also discovered if you walk along the beach to the right by 5 minutes there is another great reef. The staff were all very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable, especially for an island stay! We did a walk round the whole island and Vyaana definitely have one of the best pools! Make sure you try the banana pancakes for breakfast!

Only tip would be to shower before 7pm before the hot water runs out!

The place is beautiful, the bungalow is perfect, they have a sky open bathroom - amazing- the perfect location for sunset and a great swimming pool!

No alcoholic drinks: Although we didn’t miss it, maybe if they offer alcoholic option we will consume more in the hotel - dinner and lunch.

The Vyaana Resort is a wonderful place to stay on Gili Air. Peacefully tucked away in a quiet part of the island, it offers a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience — everything is still easily accessible by foot or bike. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome; they are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Highly recommended for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Loved this place. Beautiful helpful staff. Small complex. Large bungalows with plenty of space. Gorgeous outdoor bathroom. Comfortable beds and very clean with good storage space. Nice beach and pool area with plenty of chairs to lay on. Beautiful sunsets. We stayed in both the bungalow and upstairs villa. Both were fabulous. The villa had a huge balcony and was great for people/sunset watching and having dinner or drink at night but we also loved the bungalows which had plenty of space and gave us all that we needed.

Wifi was a little hit and miss but we really had no issues. Would love to have had some sheer curtains on bungalows so you could have a little more privacy in the daytime.

Love the location and laid back vibe of Vyaana. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff, there’s nothing not to like about this place. Located right on Sunset point offering beautiful sunsets. Rooms are very clean with everything you could need. We stayed upstairs in the family room which gave us a nice view over the ocean. Great having the pool as well as beach chairs and good food served at Vyaana.
