On Saturday night a local beach bar hosts a party.. until 4 am.. not the fault of the Hotel, But you could hear the bass, even though the hotel is set back.. such a shame as it is normally very quiet and tranquil.. would have been good to have some toiletries shampoo and body wash in room.

What a delightful oasis to be found at Lucy’s Garden. With traditional designed bungalows surrounding a small pool and delightful gardens throughout. There are only eleven bungalows so it is quiet and pleasant. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make an effort to engage with everyone. Complimentary tea, coffee and water were available at any time which was appreciated. The other very appealing feature is that Lucy’s Garden is it only a short walk from the sea and delicious restaurants. As it is on the West side of the island the sunsets of an evening are spectacular. There are also a number of very good restaurants within short walking distance. Our favourites were Gili Lumbung Shisa Bar, Mowie’s and Mama Pizza.

There was no shampoo or conditioner supplied in the shower area.

Lovely peaceful location a few minutes walk to the sea. It is on the west side of the Island where you can see amazing sunsets. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast can be taken on your veranda or anywhere in the garden. Family friendly. Only about 10 huts. Can hire bikes and electric scooters from property.

Nothing to do with the property :-) It isn’t the fault of the property’s fault but the best snorkelling is on the East. We liked the West because it has more of a chilled vibe and lots of places for a cocktail on a beanbag to watch the sunset. When the tide is out though you can’t access the sea on the West without a long walk. It isn’t a problem if you have bikes and can hit the East of the Island.

We loved our stay at Lucy’s, the bungalows; the pool, the staff and the location were all excellent. It was quiet and peaceful and yet only 5 minutes walk to the bars and restaurants on sunset beach, which we thought was the best beach on the island. Breakfast was good; the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable and helped us organise our trip. We will definitely be back!

You will need a torch to go from the beach to Lucy’s; after dark; which is only partially lit. This is the same lane used by many property’s situated away from the beach front.

5 Stars – Absolutely Perfect Stay at Lucy's Garden! I had such an amazing stay at Lucy’s Garden – I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The staff were absolutely wonderful: super friendly, always available, and went above and beyond to meet all my needs with a smile. The bungalow was beautiful and spacious, set in a relaxed and peaceful environment that made it easy to unwind. The tropical garden setting felt really local and authentic, not touristy at all – which I loved. The pool was fantastic – clean, refreshing, and the perfect spot to relax after exploring the island. One detail I really appreciated was the filtered water available on-site. That kind of convenience and care for guests' well-being made a big difference. If you're looking for a peaceful, welcoming place with true local charm and incredible service, Lucy’s Garden is it. I’ll definitely be back!

The only downside was that the hotel was a little hard to find, even after a few days on the island. The small street it’s located on could use a bigger or clearer sign – we walked past it multiple times without noticing. But once you find it, it’s 100% worth it. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, authentic stay on Gili Air!

The hotel consists of about 12 individual bungalows all facing a nice shady central pool. It’s located only a short walk from the bustling harbour area with wide sandy beaches and a good selection of great restaurants and shops along the coast. Breakfast was served very efficiently to wherever you wish to eat- the open air lobby, garden tables or the terrace at your bungalow. The hotel is clearly trying to set a high standard of service and cleanliness. The rooms are serviced daily. It is great that the hotel is reducing unnecessary plastic bottle waste by providing free drinking water refills that guests are able to access themselves at anytime in the lobby.

Despite the property being hidden down a laneway within a quiet grassy coconut grove, we were able to find it quite easily. Once we knew we were in the vicinity we simply asked the local people ‘can you tell us where Lucy’s Garden is?’, and everyone we spoke to knew it and were happy to direct us.

The host was very welcoming and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted.Location was great as close to the port and beach yet was quiet and secluded.Great breakfast,welcome drinks and free tea/coffee/water all day. Nice pool which was very well maintained . Rooms cleaned daily . We would come back again without any doubt. We hired bikes from the accommodation ,got laundry done for a small extra fee and had our own private snorkelling trip with the hosts dad as an extra we paid for but it was well worth it .But really it is the staff who made it-all were lovely and made the stay welcoming.

We booked for four nights and ended up staying six because we loved it so much! The rooms were very comfortable, the pool was wonderful and the outdoor areas were so relaxing. Every single staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. At least one person (often many more) is always available to help you with anything you need. The breakfasts were delicious. We needed two of our breakfast gluten-free and they went above and beyond to offer what we wanted gluten-free. They made gluten-free pancakes, Nasi Goreng (no sauce), and even ran out to get gluten-free bread for my kid upon request. The location is great, just a one minute walk to the beach, and set in a lunch garden vibe. Lots of families and friendly people.

+ Our room was cleaned daily!✨ It was a real pleasure to get back to a sparkling clean room every evening. + The AC was working well. + There was a table and stable WiFi, so | was able to have zoom calls. Didn't expect that from a remote island! 🏝️ + The pool area is very beautiful, lots of wonderful flowers🌺 + The staff was friendly and very helpful. + It is quite and private unlike many other places closer to the beach, where the pool area is totally exposed. + Breakfast was quite nice. + Coffee, tea and drinking water are free of charge! As for things that can be improved: - A bit old bedsheets and pillow covers, - Not new furniture, - A bit too dark. My score is 10 anyway! 😊 Generally, we are very happy with our stay, and we are hoping to get back. Thank you!

The place is very quiet yet close to restaurants and bars. Super easy also to go to the beach. Even better if you rent a bike from the hotel. We ask for a snorkeling tour and the manager organized a tour by boat around the Gili Islands, it was amazing. We had one of the smaller bungalow, which is perfect for two. We also had a glimpse of the bigger ones. They are really great ! The swimming pool is also very nice ! Last but not least, the staff is so sweet and friendly, eager to recommend you the best warungs !! I would recommend without hesitation this peaceful place !
