Lovely place on a quiet beach. The swimming pool was amazing and the bar was always open. The staff made our experience memorable; they were very friendly! They helped us out with a lot of stuff! There are nice day beds where you can relax. The bungalows are spacious and have AC, with a nice front balcony to chill. Its a 10 min walk from harbour, this side of the island is more quiet than the east side, so it feels like the perfect location.. A lot of restaurants and bars are close. Staff arranged a tour to see turtles and got us bikes to rent, which is nice.

The sanitary is in old condition, so it does not feel very clean. The food in the restaurant was ok, not fantastic.

Best cocktails at happy hour- the bar staff really took a lot of pride in the presentation and garnishes. Za (not sure of the spelling there) was fantastic and took great care of us. The accommodation is on sunset side, close to great restaurants. It was basic but aircon worked, bed super comfortable and really great value.

Tuesday night the Cheeky Monkey has a doof doof all night long. Ear buds recommended unless you plan to join the party! Or stay sunrise side that night (Friday night party is over that side so if there for a week try both sides!

The staff was very friendly and also flexible. We could change the room because the first one was a bit too small for us. The breakfast was good, it's nice you can eat on the beach there.

Salabose Cottages is situated in the middle of the 'West End' or sunset beach with the largest beachfront of anyone. It's beach cocktail bar is perfect for those amazing sunset cocktails while you relax on the ample, soft beach cushions. Staff is attentive with a very reasonably-priced & varied food menu. Wifi is strong too, both on the beach and amongst the bungalows (3 separate wifi networks). There's sandy swimming too right out front. Easy walking to all the other top restaurants on the West End including Papaya Beach Club (next door) as well as Radiant, Mama Pizzas and Mowies.

Salabose is located centrally on the west end "sunset" beach with the largest beach and plenty of beach cushions. Stunning sunsets too. Their beach bar is situated on the beach with a full range of cocktails. Easy going & relaxing especially around their swimming pool - day or night. Salabose is adjacent to the new beachside Papaya beach club - amazing cocktails, grilled seafood and steaks.

The position is the best on the island, lerfect to ovserve the sunset but also to e joy the long and wide white sandy beach where an adult can safely touch. You have free access to the sunbeds and the umbrella right in front of the beach. Which is where the good (especially the pancakes and the fruit) is served, on a nice Balinese wooden ‘sofa’. The room was large, and spotless clean, excellent air conditioning. The huge bathroom had good hot water even if it was salty, like in menu places on the island. The swimming pool was excellent and offerta at night great views of the moon. There is also a small store where you can get drinks, snacks and ice creams. You can order good food to have on the beach is in the swimming pool and reasonable cocktails and drinks. Literally to both sides of the Hotel there are excellent restaurants where you can enjoy very good food from different cuisines. We would have loved to stay longer but it was fully booked. We already miss it!

The only small problem was the non working fridge in the room.

The location is the best along the beach, truly stunning bit of beach with lovely loungers and bean bags to crash on and watch the amazing sunsets. The staff are all so lovely. The breakfast is good as is the restaurant food and they also offer a barbecue which we enjoyed. All meals are eaten on the beach with stunning views every mealtime. The hotel rooms are large with a huge bathroom and kettle and fridge. Great wifi everywhere, even on the beach and airconditioning works well. It’s only a few minutes walk from the port with great bars and restaurants either side of it. Swimming pool is a good size with nice sun loungers. This hotel undersells itself, the location and ambience is fantastic.

We booked the seafront bungalow due to it having a seaview, but it is really small with very steep steps going down into the bathroom which is slightly open air. We loved watching the world go by sitting out on the veranda, but you do get more noise in the bungalows than the rooms as they are facing the street that everybody uses including the horse and carts. We extended our stay by 1 night and had to move to a room as the bungalow was booked, the rooms overlook the pool and they are huge, really comfortable and seconds from the bungalow we stayed it, just not sea facing. I would opt for these rooms if I stayed again. The pool has some sharp edges that need repairing.

Pool is very sweet and he surely will help you to have the best time ever. Good food at the restaurant. Nice swimming pool

it was just perfect. If you don't like noise ask for a deluxe room in the area of the swimming pool. there are some clubs where music will be played until at least 11pm and once a week all night

Location is great. Beautiful spot for sunset and cocktail happy hour. Za was so helpful and made sure we were well looked after. He organised a boat for us to go snorkeling for the day. Was a truly unbelievable experience and a great price! Breakfast was great. Restaurant food excellent too.

As per other reviews, the nearby bar was extremely loud on Saturday night until well into the morning. Pretty sure you would hear this from all hotels though!

Salabose has a stunning new circular beach bar with amazing happy hour specials. The biggest beach with comfy cushion bean bags is great for chill-out sunsets. Their new WiFi rocks with a beach node for strong signal access. The bar staff love to mix your favorite cocktails. My bungalow was just steps behind the restaurant & shop by the pool. There’s even backpacker rooms further back on the property for young adventure travelers.

The new chef arrived in the last week of June 2023 and is adding some required sizzle to their new menus. Expect more to come.
