Nice place with relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff.

One thing I was disappointed of an so called „Ecolodge“ was that they compared to all other place I have been don’t provide a water dispenser. It is so easy to implement and would help everyone to easily stay hydrated and on also avoid the unnecessary use of single use plastic bottles. I’m happy to see any further improvement towards a more environmentally sustainable accommodation.

Beautiful atmosphere and pool area

The shower had very weak pressure and was pretty cold

We stayed at Beranda for one month while enjoying the paradise of Gili Air. It was the perfect base - cosy bungalow, lovely pool area, tables and wifi for online working, good free breakfast, grass field to do some yoga/exercise and an overall very peaceful atmosphere. The staff were so sweet and helpful - they really make you feel taken care of. Location is good, close to many great warungs and a short walk to the beach.

There are only shared bathrooms but it's good enough as there are many toilets and showers so you are never waiting for a stall. The mosque is VERY closeby so you hear it blaring every morning (and throughout the day) so that's something to keep in mind.

It’s a beautiful ecolodge, with big common spaces and a perfect pool. Breakfast was okei, everything was clean, stuff kind and helpful. I was in a single bed room bowgalow, with shared bathroom. In the room there is only a Bed in the middle but is everything you need, the patio outside of the bowgalow is stunning. Bathrooms outside easy to go also during the night because there are a lots of lights on. Obviously you heard the prayers from the mosque but is it everywhere like this. You can rent bycicle ‘next door’. I will defenatly reccomend it.

I’ve been staying in a lot of places in GIli Air and Beranda ecolodge is still my favorite after all these years despite the shared bathroom For the tiny houses, the location, the kindness of the staff, and the perfect pool !

I was in a cabin far from the entrance and WiFi was not working inside but honestly I couldn’t care less In the other cabins I used to stay before at Beranda it was

This place is so quiet and relaxing. The huts are so cute and comfy. It's in the middle of the island, from here you can walk everywhere and you don't really need a bicycle

I would have appreciated a refill station to refill my water bottle and a vegan option for breakfast

Lovely outdoor area, loads of space and sun loungers. Covered area to be in the shade. Cabins were nice and clean. Mosquito net seemed to work. Good location, felt very safe. I rented a bicycle from the restaurant next door but you could easily walk around too.

No air con although the weather was cool enough when I was there. It just got quite hot in the morning. Traffic noise was quiet at night but also woke me up in the morning. Pool was a bit green and murky.

The staff is super friendly, the location is great: in the middle of the island so it's easy to reach the beaches for sunset or sunrise. The site is beautiful with a nice pool, sunbeds, good breakfast and the beds are super comfy.

The room was just 2 mattresses, adding some things to hang clothes or bag would be nice. Also having some drinking water refill

The swimming pool and the lounging spaces are amazing! Great place to hang out, relax, and meet other travelers if you’re inclined. The restaurant becomes an open workspace after breakfast and it’s great. Staff members are very nice and very laid back - perfect balance. The free breakfast was solid. Wi-Fi is good. The atmosphere when you walk in is very chill and relaxed. The island can feel a little bit chaotic but it was always serene at Beranda.

*some toilets and showers were broken. Flush wasn’t great. No shoes allowed in bathroom areas but floors were wet and mossy. *room was cute but very small. Not much space for anything but bed. Lights were dim and it was pretty hot although Balinese style architecture and fan helped!

having the pool was amazing! the shared bathrooms are very clean, the breakfast everyday was yummy and the staff is very helpful - for the money this place is definitely a steal. recommend!!!!!!

the mosque is close so if you're bothered by that it will be a problem but for the price the place is amazing other than that the shared houses are not really soundproof and the wood is quite squeaky so you end up hearing your neighbors a fair bit but again you won't really spend much time inside i suppose
