Where you stay on the island doesn’t really matter. It’s a small island, and the ocean is close no matter where you are. (On the map, everything looked farther apart than it actually was.) So instead of worrying about location, just pick a hotel you like. I highly recommend Stay Shark Villas. I loved the sense of privacy there. It was only a three-minute walk from the main street, but you couldn’t hear any noise at all. You have your own pool in the backyard, and breakfast is served by the pool every morning. It’s clean, fresh, and beautiful. The staff were fantastic. They helped us with anything we needed, always respecting our privacy while also being available whenever we wanted to ask questions or chat. When something went wrong with our tickets back to Bali, they ran down to the ferry, talked to the manager, and took care of everything for us. That’s world-class service!

I have no complains what so ever

Spacious & clean rooms, comfy bed. Thanks to the very friendly staff, especially Liz was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was served in the room and always on time, it was delicious too. The pool was very clean and everything was well-maintained. Loved the plants on the walkway leading to the rooms. The Mosque although is close, can not be heard too loud from inside the room but earplugs are provided if you need them. Bikes are also there to use. The staff were kind enough to bring a bike to the Shark Bites restaurant (which I also recommend), so I could cycle to the property as I only had a small backpack. The offer was made several times to assist with pick up from the harbour which I appreciated but did not personally need. Would recommend and would stay again.

The staff at this hotel we exceptional, they couldn't do enough for us! They were messaging me prior to arrival and if it wasn't for our boat being very delayed they would have met us at the dock. The breakfast was freshly made every morning, and brought to our room at exactly they time we wanted. The room was exactly what it says, super clean, spacious and lots of facilities including female products, hair dryer and iron. The free bikes were amazing, and just meant we didn't need to faff about renting bikes etc.

I wish it was a little closer to the beach, however an extra 5 minute cycle isn't the worst problem. Just a head up its right behind the mosque on the island and you will get woken up at 4:30am by the call to prayer. I didn't think it would be an issue but its very loud. Not the hotels problem and they do warn you and give you ear plugs.

It was so nice to have your own little oasis to use after a long day at the beach. Ofcause it is not 110% perfect. But compared to alot of hotels in Bali or gili air this is pretty good. Breakfast was amazing. If you ask nicely they Can customize to your liking, within normal limits. The staff are almost the best part. They are amazing.

The sound from the mosque. But it is not just this place. But this place is abit closer. But they do provide earbuds you can use at night. This wont stop us from booking this place again.

Beautiful property conveniently located within the island with lovely private pool, room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The staff was lovely.

The only downside for us was the condition of the cycles, quite old and they felt unsafe to ride, please do change them in the future!

The breakfast was delicious . It was fresh and delivered at the times we chose.

It’s not that clean. Outdated.

Sadly this lovely villa was ruined for my fiancé and I. The villa was very close to a mosque, in fact so close, so when they had their morning prayers. We were woken up, every morning of our stay at 4.30 am, it sounded like they had a speaker inside of our room. Sadly this was not written anywhere where we saw it, nor was we told about this once we confirmed our stay. So to me, it seems like they know it will turn a lot of people off their place. With this being said, the staff was very nice, and helpfull. They helped us with our laundry. They also give free drinkable water each day, and very nice breakfast with more than enough for you to get full. The pool was quite deep, and not so big so it felt a bit weird too but very nice still. The wifi was none existent either, we both had to use around 5-7 gigabytes of data for the 5 nights we had there, if we wanted to get online. Since the wifi was less than 1 mbps. Which was not enough to watch a movie on. If the mosque part was not there this would definitely be a place I would recommend, but when they charge the price they do, it's simply not okay to not inform your guest of things like this. I wouldn't recommend this villa at all due to this, I would say your money was better spend elsewhere, unless you of course like to get up early.
