Pondok Santi is the kind of place that takes your breath away the moment you arrive. The staff are beyond amazing, warm, attentive and genuinely caring, they make you feel instantly at home. It never feels forced; you can tell they truly enjoy looking after their guests. The estate itself is stunning, with peaceful gardens, swaying palm trees and the most beautiful stretch of beach. Our villa was spacious and private, exactly as we hoped for, but even better in real life. What really stood out was the personal touch, everyone seemed to know us by name. The food was so good that we ended up having breakfast, lunch and dinner here every single day. Fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented, we loved every meal. It felt more like staying with friends who really care than at a resort. Pondok Santi is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to remember and return to.

Pondok Santi is just beautiful. It is an oasis of Indonesian tranquility & calm in the otherwise busy, touristy island of Gili T. Best bit of our stay was hands down the staff here. Everyone - reception, bar, restaurant, beach, gardeners etc… greeted you with a smile. Exceptionally well trained too - very efficient! We travelled as family with 2 early teens. Family ocean view villa was very spacious & well equipped. They loved the complimentary paddle boards - saw turtles. Infinity pool set back from the road, plenty of padded sun loungers, with pillows, very comfy, loads of Bali beds fitted around the estate, never busy. Huge, perfectly manicured grounds. Lovely cocktails, great food, pizza oven - delicious. Huge breakfast taken on the beach every morning (choose from room, beach or pool). Loads of choice, excellent quality.

This place was awesome. Great service from the moment we arrived. We stayed in one of the spacious villas with a pool and had a delicious breakfast delivered to us on the patio every morning. The restaurants were awesome with high end local food served by the water. The hotel location was just far enough away from the crowded part of the island and right next to the sunset epicenter where everyone from the island gathers each night. We rented the hotel's boat for the day and had several hours of sun, snorkeling, and exploring. Would recommend this bespoke hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed vibe. Oh. And the welcome cookies were unforgettable!!!!

Pondok Santi Estate is pure luxury, even in the midst of a storm! We stayed for five nights, three of which were marked by a cyclone with torrential rain and strong winds—but despite the weather, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The beautifully appointed rooms have everything you need, including lovely outdoor bathrooms that add to the tropical charm. The staff went above and beyond, always addressing us by name and ensuring we were well taken care of. Service was flawless—attentive, warm, and truly five-star. Dining on the beach was a highlight, with both breakfast and dinner offering a perfect mix of delicious food and stunning ambiance. The restaurant itself is superb, serving high-quality meals with impeccable service. We also indulged in the in-room massage service, which was outstanding—one of the best we’ve had. The estate’s grounds are breathtaking, with lush gardens, peaceful gazebos, and a large, warm pool with comfortable seating to relax in. Everything was spotlessly clean and maintained to the highest standard. Even with challenging weather, Pondok Santi Estate delivered an unforgettable experience. This is a true high-end retreat where the staff simply cannot do enough for you. Highly recommended!

An absolute dream – outstanding service and incredible food! Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional – everything was perfect from start to finish. A special highlight was the incredible staff: so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful – we felt completely cared for the entire time. It’s rare to experience this level of hospitality – we honestly didn’t want to leave! The food was another standout: high-quality, varied, and absolutely delicious. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner – every meal was a real treat. The rooms, the cleanliness, the attention to detail – everything was top-notch. In summary: A hotel experience that sets the bar incredibly high. We will definitely be coming back!

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We were very warmly greeted on arrival. We loved the private beach area and restaurant on the beach. Service was excellent; staff tried very hard to ensure we had a great experience. The music played at the beach restaurant and bar was exceptionally well curated and strongly contributed to our experience. We will always remember our stay at Pondok Santi.

The secondary pool was not as clean as the main pool. The grass wasn’t mowed near the hill view accommodation. I can’t stress enough though how minor these issues were in the broader context of our experience.

Splendid property in Gili T. Definitely one of the best we have stayed at so far. The staff were so friendly and accomodating and made our stay so enjoyable looking after all our needs. The property is stunning, great spread of rooms (we had one pool villa and another garden facing villa), both were spacious! The restaurant by the beach was a great place to spend the day on a private beach. With access to snorkels, paddle boards and all (friendly instructors) you are sure to see turtles (without having to pay a fee like you have to do elsewhere on the island).

Probably the only thing we were not too fond of was the brekky by the pool on the first day, there was smell from the re-used water being used for gardening. It was not too much of an issue, we were immediately accommodated by the beach which was a way better option anyways

This properly is incredible. Truely something else. Every little detail has been thought of. Every little thing promotes luxury, indulgence and relaxation. We stayed in one of the pool villas and it was perfect. We actually never wanted to leave. loved having the privacy and our own pool but still having the option to go to the main pool area and bar! From the reception staff, to the man (wish I could remember his name) who helped us with some requests, to the restaurant and bar staff, gardeners, cleaners. Every single one the staff was amazing. nothing was a problem and even things we hadn’t thought of ourselves had already been thought about. We also had an in room massage and both my husband and I said it was the best we had ever had! Pondok Santi Estate is something really special. the grounds, the rooms, the food & cocktails. Everything superseded our expectations. We cannot wait to return here. Was the perfect escape from the busyness and from life. We cannot rate this hotel highly enough. i suggest you try the fish tacos, sesame encrusted tuna & ginger sailor. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay here longer. 3 days was not enough!

This was one of our very favourite hotel experiences we have ever had. The whole Pondok Santi staff was outstandingly polite, friendly and super helpful - we felt at home right after our arrival and they tried to make every little request possible. All of them knew our names right away! The rooms were a dream - super clean and provided with whatever we needed and more. It was an amazing feel-good-place, extremely quiet - if you wouldn't want to experience anything from the "louder" party area on Gili T, you could simply choose to have the most relaxing holiday without the need of even leaving the property. They have two incredible restaurants and you can choose where to sit and enjoy your breakfast and dinner - we always went to the beach where we sat with our feet in the sand under fairy lights with the calming sound of waves right by the ocean. During daytime, you can enjoy amazing canopies or hammocks right by the crystal clear water. Every few hours we went snorkeling to see the most beautiful turtles just metres away. Without a doubt you should choose this accommodation for your stay on Gili T and you will leave being sad that your time there is over.

Absolutely fantastic. Fifth time visiting Gili T and will not be staying elsewhere on return visits. Everything about the property is perfect. Grounds, location, room and food were amazing - pizza was next level. Staff were the best I’ve come across - special mention to Ahyar, Zugi and Yuoha (legend) for taking care of us. With that said, all staff were fantastic, gardeners and housekeeping included - always smiling and friendly. Excellently managed too. Do yourself a favour and stay here!
