Pearl of Trawangan is without a doubt the most beautiful hotel on the entire island. Everything was perfect: the hotel is stunning and well-maintained down to the smallest details. Breakfast was delicious and varied – the perfect way to start the day. One of the highlights is the private beach, reserved exclusively for guests. Peaceful, relaxing, and just steps away. The location is also ideal: right in the heart of the island but still quiet enough to fully unwind. I truly enjoyed my stay here, and if I ever return to Gili, I will definitely book this hotel again. A true gem on the island!

Our room was a bit small but cosy.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pearl of Trawangan. It’s a beautiful hotel and the rooms are lovely. The sea view is sensational with the balcony as it’s right on the beach. The staff are so helpful and kind and make sure your stay is amazing. The food is really good with a nice breakfast. We spent our time at the beach and pool and the staff look after you extremely well regardless of where you are in the hotel. This hotel has its own lovely touches which make it unique. Whilst being there the staff booked us our trip right through to Bali on the fast boat and then a taxi to Ubud. However, due to extreme weather we were put on an alternative route which ended up being a nightmare as we were stranded. The hotel kept in touch with us and ensured we still got to Ubud safely. I really appreciated that through all the travel disruption they kept checking in on us and being helpful when they could. Although it was a day later they still organised a taxi for us once we were at Padang Bai which saved us so much stress after the ordeal of being stranded for over 24hours. We stayed in the Suar Superior room and it was fantastic. Staff everywhere were brilliant . The restaurant crew were amazing( it was height of the season ) and in the evenings they were covering 3 areas, the beach, upstairs and downstairs with every table taken . Hardie ,Tom, Shorie and Yon went out of their way to help . The gardens were immaculate, and the beach loungers for guests only was good as mornings got really busy. We ended up eating at the restaurant often since their prices included the 10% service charge and the 11% tax. Most places quote their prices excluding these additions (read the fine print )so we thought the food prices were pretty competitive.

Everything was great. The hotel, the pool, the room, the restaurant, etc… The hotel is like 10-15 minute walk from the harbor. The location is between the central place and the sunset area. It’s quiet and perfect. There’s also ATMs right next to the hotel. It also has bicycle parking and electric motor bike parking (in front of the hotel for electric motor bikes). The staff is absolutely awesome. They’re kind, respectful and always smiling. They accommodate whatever need you have. It also has a private area on the beach. I absolutely loved my stay here and I think that this is the best hotel on the island.

The hotel was in a good location away from the noise yet close enough to walk around for other options for dinner. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We had sufficient drinking water bottles in the room. The hotel staff are well trained, friendly and very helpful. I had arranged pickup fr Lombok Airport to the island. The hotel made all the necessary arrangements. The driver, Lalu, was very courteous and made us feel safe even when our arrival was late evening/ night. Our 4 hour snorkeling trip was great. The hotel had arranged a personal trip for us and it was worth it. The sea was beautiful, very clear and clean. We saw lots of turtles, fishes and corals. Overall it was a great 5 day 4 nights relaxing holiday. Would definately recommend travelling to Gili Trawangan and staying at the Pearl of Trawangan.

There's nothing I didn't like about the hotel. Maybe a suggestion to increase vegetarian options for breakfast. We were vegetarians and didn't have much vegetarian options for breakfast.

I was really looking forward to coming here and to be honest, I was initially disappointed that the huts are not ‘on the beach’ and the pictures here make the resort look like it’s on the corner. Reality is that there is a small road in front of the huts, which are in a row behind a small wall. Electric bikes, bicycles and horse and carts are the only thing that goes up and down, but it was fairly busy when we arrived, not the idyllic quiet paradise I had dreamt of. I soon got over myself and had an amazing stay here. The bungalows are very well equipped lovely open air bathrooms and sun loungers on the front balcony. Loads of loungers on the beach and by the pool. The food in the restaurant was gorgeous and the pool amazing, all of the staff were fabulous, tending to our every need. The ocean is stunning with gorgeous white sand. Overall The Pearl is an amazing resort, not too far from the main area of town but far enough to be peaceful.

We loved the convenient location of the property, how clean it was, and how friendly the staff are The resort is pretty big and their rooms are such a great size! The AC’s work wonderfully in the rooms & the showers have both hot and cold water The staff are happy to assist whenever you need something & they’re not stingy to hold back. The hotel has its own beach area with helpful staff. You can order food/beverages on the beach, they provide you with sun beds that have umbrellas, and towels. The suites have their own exclusive shared pool, that is only accessible by the suite guests. Breakfast was delicious - we had the ciabatta sandwich every morning and the cinnamon pastry They also give you a complimentary fruit/granola bowl for breakfast

The only feedback I would have about the property is their Juice selection for breakfast; they didn’t feel fresh. I haven’t tried any cocktails or mocktails, but from my one experience of ordering juice in breakfast, I would say it wasn’t the best. Otherwise, absolutely nothing bad!

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights, and our stay was perfect. What we liked here was the overall vibe, the beautiful garden, the semi outdoor bathroom, the cleanliness, the staff's attention to small details, their sincere desire for you to feel good. Of course there are things that can be improved as the hotel is not new. It happened that sometimes we received less water in the room than usual, or they forget to leave a towel, but these things are nothing, next to all the effort that the staff makes. The breakfast was very good. You can choose between several options (different types of eggs, avocado, fresh fruits, pancakes, english breakfast and many more), and no matter which one you choose, you will additionally receive a fresh juice, coffee, a fruit salad and a pastry, more than enough and very tasty. We ate almost all the meals at the hotel restaurant and the food was good and fresh. Maybe the prices are higher than in other parts, but honestly, they seemed low to us. To give you an idea, in 9 days, for 2 people, we spent approximately 350 euros, on meals, drinks and 2 massages at the hotel's spa. As for the spa, which is in a separate building, a short distance from the hotel, I can tell you that it was very good, the therapists are skilled, and the reception staff very kind. The hotel has its own beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas, and you can snorkel without problems, directly from the beach. Although the reef is not great, you can see some fish and if you're lucky and go a little further out, maybe even a turtle. All in all, I want to praise everyone for the way they strive to maintain the hotel, for the perfect garden full of frangipani, the clean beach and especially for the attention they give to tourists. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to install mosquito nets, because no matter how hard you try, and with all the anti-mosquito solutions that the hotel provides, mosquitoes still enter the room.

Great location, near the harbour and main street but still quiet and relaxing. It has a nice pool and bar and really good breakfast. We booked a beach cottage wich was great and our parents had a room with view of the swimming pool which was also very nice. The staff are all very nice and helpfull. Would book again! We stayed 3 nights but felt sorry we didn't book at least 4 or even 5 nights. Gili Trawangan is a beautiful island with a little bit of a Ibiza vibe. Lot's of nice beach bars with live music every night. And yes, the magic mushrooms are offered to you everywhere. Rent a bike to get around the island, we felt sorry for all the horses in the heat who had to pull heavy carts with suitcases and tourists. A snorkling trip is also recommended, via the resort we booked a private boat with snorkling instructor who made sure we saw a lot of sea turtles and fish (around Gili Meno) and filmed our snorkling experience with a gopro. It was fantastic!

Although the beach by the resort is beautiful with crystal clear water, there are a lot of stones and dead coral when you want to go in the water so watershoes are a must! Also the waves can get rough during the day. So watch out for strong current when with children.

Stunning property in the best location. Hired biked direct from the hotel to ride all around the island. The pool area is lush and well maintained. Rooms are really big with good aircon. Outdoor bathroom is rather hot but not really a problem. Service from staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious.

Pool only stays open till 7pm which is a shame as they have a swim up bar and think they should extend to 9pm. Only fault in the rooms is the bathroom doors and sliding front door make a lot of noise when you close them. They need to add something to stop the wood from banging. Even if you try to close it carefully it’s very noisy and you can hear your neighbours going in and out.
