We arrived on the first day and were welcomed by the staff. At first we had the villa with a hill view. The staff offered us a free upgrade. The rooms are clean and look like the pictures. The staff does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was on time every day and delicious. We had several delicious meals in the restaurant. In short, our stay was a great experience

From the moment I arrived, again, I'm amaze by the magnificence of Shankara Munduk Bali. This time, I go here with my family and they really like it. This is my second visit, last time I visit with my Japanese friend and she loves the vibes so much. The villa itself is clean, very affordable price for this luxury accommodation and it’s near from tourist destinations. The breakfast itself, I really love their Munduk Pancake, it's actually more like a crepes with icing sugar n honey drizzled on top - it’s unique and not too sweet. And for the food itself, I do love their Indonesian food, I think it was amazing, love the plating. Their chicken satay & banana fritter are must order! And if you have more time, afternoon tea is a must, while enjoying sunset. They served us assorted Balinese traditional cake & hot tea, it was execute perfectly. We also went for sauna because the air here was a little bit cold. After that, we went for dinner in here too (really love their fried tempeh & gado2). And don't forget to sit at balcony and enjoy the fresh air! The service was absolutely great! So friendly, fast-response and warmth, especially their FO, Juni, she explained what we're really need very well, really appreciate about that. I highly recommended Shankara Resort Munduk to anyone who wants to have staycation in Munduk. For this price range, it’s a very great deal !

It's quite far from the city but I'm okay with that because we love a quiet place rather than a busy-noisy city like Ubud or Canggu. The view is really amazing and Munduk is perfect definition of 'cold and clean weather' in Bali.

Room was very spacious, and the bathroom as well. Staff was very nice and available for any request and the breakfast was simple but good. Didn’t use pool and sauna but they were nice to have. Bath was also nice to have. I appreciated the welcome drink. We had dinner there and the food was good.

Shower could be better cleaned (edges were black and yellow) and the floor of the shower didn’t allow all the water to drain so there was always some water leftover which didn’t seem very hygienic.

I don’t know where to begin! I work in branding and interiors space and have solo travelled a lot, but this property was the best I’ve stayed in. The interiors are immaculate, the room is massive and the sunset view - the best in Munduk. But it doesn’t stop here, what made my stay special were the people, the management Yuni and her husband were so amazing - big hugs again. Madey and Kendran were so accommodating, helpful with the biggest smiles always. And they linked me to their driver who took me around the city and also clicked amazing pictures - Gede was wonderful. Without a doubt everytime I go to Bali, Munduk is on the list and I’m staying here again!

Extremely lovely and helpful staff. Always trying to improve their accomodation and satisfy every request (they organised our drive to denpasar airport despite the lack of taxis and grab) Lots of excellent services Good breakfast and possibility to organise lunch/dinner directly in the accomodation Nice common spaces where you can eat, relax and do whatever you want Nice pool. Presence of sauna. Very big room and bathroom with both shower and bath tub, also big wardrobe Easy to reach and in a strategic position to reach the three lakes, munduk and all the waterfalls present in this area We hadn't any problem because of noise from outside or other rooms (well noted: almost every accomodations in bali has thin walls, so we didn't find a difference between this accomodation and the others we visited) We would surely suggest this accomodation to everyone

The stay was very comfortable and the staff members were too helpful. The mansion is too beautiful and we enjoyed every bit of it. Over that We would definitely like to thank Ms. Kendran for her efforts to bring back our stuff to Kuta which we forgot in Munduk. She is one of the best staff members you have. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Ms. Kendran for going just that little step extra for the guests!!! Loved the stay.. <3 Surely choosing this hotel for our next time in Munduk, Bali. Keep up the good work guys!! :-)

The breakfast was fine, but options were very less for vegetarian food.

It was amazing! I didn’t miss anything. But most of all I was amazed about the staff, how helpful they were. I had quite a few requests, and they did everything to help me, so that everything was to my best contentment. 

Just the WiFi was a bit weak at times, but no issue for my needs. And the breakfast was definitely OK, but not brilliant, like the rest. 

Very nice place, the rooms are big ! The bathrooms are very nice too, if not too cloudy you have a nice view of the coast. Not far from lots of waterfalls and temple, very well located to do a lot with a scooter :)

I liked that the room was very spacious. The facilities were good such as the room heater which was very needed for the cold temperature at night.

The lighting was quite dim in the room and amenities such as toothbrushes weren't in the room but the staff very kindly prepared it when asked.

Great friendly service and our room was very comfortable and well equipped . Food quality was decent

There is a roof top bar with amazing views to the north, however the resort does not stock or offer alcoholic drinks and there are no shops nearby to buy them either.
