We loved the large sprawling grounds and the beautiful beach out the front. Great gym and cheap bike hire with kids seats to explore along the fireshore path was wonderful. The buffet was fantastic and we loved having the three breakfast locations to choose from every morning with slightly varying buffets. Our kids loved kids club, the big slide and huge pools. Would highly recommend the traditional dance evening with indonesian buffet - dancing and the food were incredible!

The check in process was a bit slow, and didn't feel as 5 star as other resorts we stayed out. Rooms were a little tired and felt like they needed a deep clean - but honestly for what we paid it was great value, perfect for a family with young kids. The resort restaurants were a bit expensive...similar to Australian prices for wine and food - which was not at all our experience in other areas in Bali and at more expensive resorts than this one.

We had an Ocean View room with Club access and stayed 18 days. The beach is excellent - by far the best in Nusa Dua in terms of loungers, space and privacy and is cleaned regularly by the hotel staff. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and well kept. We used the Club area for breakfast and for drinks and canapes in the evening - always an enjoyable experience. A special thanks to Suriya for his excellent service in the Club. Without exception the hotel staff were very pleasant and attentive. The Dial '0' service from the room accessing all hotel functions worked very well.

The seating in the rooms and balcony area could be more comfortable. It should not be necessary to have to ask on a daily basis for more (free) drinking water for the room. The 'quiet zone' Club pool - could benefit from enforcing by the pool attendant - and the signs translated into a few more languages.

The place is beautiful and the staff very friendly, the only thing is that it’s already showing it’s years of construction. Rooms need renovation and the A/C wasn’t working so well.

First of all, the location - it's really beautiful, the ocean, the view, the state of peace and rest.... Staff - extremely friendly. Cleaning - very clean both in the apartment and inside the resort, the staff who cleaned the apartment - very "insistent" - we thank them, and in general all the staff with whom we had contact - very kind and professional. We spent Christmas and New Year's Eve at the Grand Hayatt - we understand that for them these holidays didn't have much content... but they made an effort. As a summary of 15 days spent in the resort - I could not say that it was something extraordinary, but I would have no reason to criticize.

What should be improved... 1. breakfast - quite or very poor for a 5-star resort, the biggest complaint was the lack of fruit - very few, unripe, only 2-3 kinds of fruit - watermelon, passion fruit, dragon fruit and that's about it. .. inexplicably, we went to the market and bought fruit - very good. 2. No fun program for children, we went with two 6-year-old children... they didn't really have fun in the resort, or we didn't search enough or they don't even have such a thing. These were the most disturbing things we experienced during the 15 days we spent in the resort.

Very beautiful grounds, plenty of pools, kids loved it (especially the water slide). Heaps of pool towels and they never ran out :) Breakfast was great with so many options (western and Asian, fruit, pastries and sweets), different dishes everyday. Comfy beds and pillows. There’s a gym with sauna on site. The beach was very clean compared to other areas in Bali.

The rooms were a bit dated, smelled damp. Shower in our room flooded when a few people showered (we’re a family of 4). The Japanese restaurant on site closed on the second or third day of our stay so we didn’t get a chance to try it, I think it closes from Mon to Wed. Other restaurants stay open every day

Stayed at the room with Club access. Had access to the Grand club restaurant which had daily tapas style snacks from 5-7pm which became our dinner as it filled the whole family. Also had free drinks 24hrs. The hotel had many pools, we only used the main and rock pools. There was an abundance of staff, very polite and helpful. Theres a regular buggy cart that goes up and down the same route, and if lucky you can hop on a ride. The hotel is massive, was like 6 minute walk from my room to lobby. Room was nice, with balcony over looking coconut trees and big pond that had loads of ducks. Was nice to sit and watch them. Both kids slept in the fixed sofa bed. Easy access to the beach and a big complex called Bali Collection that had loads of food shops and shops which had a nice atmosphere with livel music every night. The beach receeds by about 1km (after 3pm) so do all your beach fun activities during high tide times (probably mid day).

The breakfast buffet at the Grand club restaurant felt underwhelming. Pretty much had the same breakfast every morning and we got sick of eating the same food.

Great location and definitely felt safe and secure as a solo traveller. Grounds and gardens are beautiful. Lots of water features and greenery. Huge.

A bit Disneyland Bali. No sense of true connection with the staff or the vibe. Everything is mass produced. Great if you want a turnkey holiday for a family. Just not the right choice for me - I prefer unique, personalised and boutique style properties. Food is very overpriced. Get the seemingly expensive all inclusive deal because you need to order everything - like protein, greens, rice- separately and it adds up to OTT prices for Bali. And the highlight of the stay was the rat running through the breakfast area. It looked very healthy and well fed. Clever rat! Bad impression.

The cleanliness. Catered well for families. The inclusions. The friendly staff

Very hard to criticise but the water temperature in main pool was too warm. And maybe improve the Sportsbar. Better menu and better reception for the TV’s

Loved the friendliness of the staff, the large size of the resort is what we were looking for. Breakfasts were delicious with such a variety every day. That foyer! To die for, such an entrance and the closeness to Balin Collection being walking distance was perfect with kids

Only real grip would be slight areas need attention such as the bathrooms. Our shower head and drain needed to be fixed while we were there. But they fixed it so quickly it was hardly an issue
