We were fortunate to have experienced Ayodya and its beautiful surroundings with good friends. The staff were welcoming and professional from the check-in to check-out. We especially appreciated the restaurant staff, who made us feel like family daily. The beach was beautiful and so relaxing; the pools were warm, and there was plenty of staff to serve affordable cocktails and meals. We loved the gym, which had just enough equipment to burn off those delicious meals and prepare for the next one! Most of all, it was my spa experience. Every therapist was so talented and polite. I will miss Risa’s friendly nature and smile.

The location of this property was beautifully situated on a lovely stretch of beach. The pool areas were well maintained, spacious and lots of beds. The beach area was also well maintained with fantastic access. We had bed and breakfast, the breakfast was exceptional, so much choice. We found it good value for money when paying for food and drinks. The room overlooked the pool areas, the room was a good size, with a good balcony area.

The only negative is that the room smelled a little damp and the bedding felt damp, however this is only due to the level of humidity at this time of year. The bathroom is a little dated for a five star hotel, but was perfectly acceptable.

The hotel grounds are large, very picturesque, and lush with greenery, featuring beautiful common areas designed in authentic Balinese style. Everything was clean. The beach was amazing! We didn’t expect to be able to swim both at high and low tide, and there weren’t any strong waves. The sand is white, and there were only a few people around. Breakfast was great, with eggs, pancakes and waffles station, fruit station, and a nice selection of fresh pastries. The room was spacious. The entire team deserves admiration – the staff is large, but they work seamlessly. Everyone is polite, efficient, and the service in the restaurants, room cleaning, security, porters, and maintenance of the grounds – everything runs like clockwork.

The only downside that we stopped noticing after a while is the old plumbing. But in comparison with all the positives, it hardly matters.

Despite all the comments that we read before the arrival, the hotel left us with a very good impression. The rooms are not western type, but have everything needed, they are spacious and give a local Balinese flavour. The condition of all the facilities and sanitary installations was very good. The moisture smell that was mentioned many times in the comments is easily removed if you leave the A/C set for the minimal temperature while you are away. The air in Nusa Dua is quite humid, and having the balcony open without AC makes the moisture accumulate in the room. I suppose this would be true for any hotel. The breakfast that was criticized in the comments, actually exceeded our expectations. You have eggs made-to-order (even Benedict type), different types of breads, cheese, ham, Indonesian cuisine, sausages, coffee made with natural Mika and a wide selection of sweets and fruits. I only have good comments about breakfast. The hotel activities and layout are great, the seaside sunbeds area is very close to the swimming pool, which makes it convenient for the families: parents can relax at the sunbeds near the shore while keeping an eye on their kids having fun in the swimming pool. The kids area is also cool, you have different games and activities, and even real rabbits and a goose. The attention of the staff was superb! Very attentive and polite yet not persistent. All our requests were properly attended. We were leaving early so we got some fabulous breakfast boxes, packed in bamboo baskets. Bell boys were helping from the taxi to the room and back providing some useful tips and recommendations. The area is one of the best parts of the hotel: you have some great cozy restaurants, supermarkets and shops just 5 minutes walking from the main gate. There is also a beach restaurant near the beach providing very competitive prices and food quality.

Probably, dining options at the main Waterfall restaurant were not so attractive, but it is compensated by the hotel location, which is literally meters away from touristic hotspots.

Could probably just live at this resort with your kids if you wanted to and not leave.... except to go shopping. It's secure has a kids area where you can leave them fully supervised. And can order basically anything to your room. Kids had a ball at the Japanese teppanyaki. Not the best "show" I've seen but the food was exceptional!

The front pool near the kids' area really needed to be cleaned. The bottom had a slimy residue. The restaurant attached to the big pool food was mediocre at best.

Everything. Great hotel. Great service. Great beach. Nice pools.

Realy nothing. All was good. If i have to mention 2 things. 1. Kids club coule improve maybe more to do. 2. Dont charge for the popcorn for kids movie night. 40 000indr for a small popcorn was bit ridicules. Kids coule not even hear the movie as live music was right next door

Great part of Bali. Nusa Dua was clean and safe. Ayodya is definately a traditional Bali styled Hotel with its wooden features and design. Its large property grounds offers different areas to use. Massive entry, well kept gardens, long paths lead to pool areas then onto lawns with relaxing lounges which viewed onto the clean beach. A comfortable area to eat and relax. Our room was large and clean. Great shower and bath. Breakfast had a large tasty buffet choice. Staff were so polite and friendly from the gardeners, pool side staff, room service, breakfast staff, foyer greeting and Ayodya's drivers. There were different pool areas. As a couple we enjoyed Ayodya and noticed it's perfect if we came back with our families and grandchildren.

We did not get offered food & drink $145 inclusive deal. We only had a 2 day stay but next time we will ask for the package and get to try the different restaurants.

The location and lots of choices to make.

Too many rude Russians at the resort...I have been coming to the Ayodya on 4 other occasions and the ambience was so serene and friendly atmosphere...now too many incidents and rude russians.

This was our fifth stay at this resort. The staff are fantastic and always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast is very good. Lots of variety and the food is great. The restaurants a very good. We stayed at the Ayodya Palace and although slightly more expensive, it is worth every cent. I would recommend the Palace every time. Great place to relax.

For what ever reason, on this occasion the TV didn't have the Australian ABC channel. Extremely rude eastern block tourists. I really hated when during breakfast, certain people would take large quantities of food and fruit and pack them away into their shopping bags that they bring along, and so everybody has to wait till the tables are re stocked.

A very typical Balinese style hotel which makes it pleasure to stay in. You get closer to the culture exploring how to make Canang Sari, how to play Rindik- a musical instrument for religious rituals. The staff is super welcoming, everyone speaks English. Hotel rooms are big providing traditional interior design. The upfront beach is stunning in early mornings with blue transparent waters. Beach front bars are serving variety dishes and the best mixed cocktails. Recommended for 100%.

I don’t think I can list anything that I didn’t like with this stay.
