All inclusive deal was heaven for our teenage boys. Diverse range of restaurants available and all delicious. Organised activities especially with Gong, made their experience even better.

Buffet Breakfast was mass catered and was quantity over quality. Beach at Melia wasn’t as nice as expected (lots of seaweed and pebbly)

Whilst it was a large hotel, it felt intimate and the gardens were stunning. Some restaurants were over priced, however The Level had a lot of inclusive things which were really welcome. The staff were outstanding.

Once members of staff tried to push us into eating in an over priced restaurant. We refused, tried another which was wonderful. The beach was not good for swimming, too shallow, too rocky.

Stunning decoration and beautiful gardens. Kind and helpful staff. Close to a small open-air shopping mall. Breakfast has many choices.

The AC in the room was weak and not drying, so it was very humid. Even our clothes were wet. The fridge was not cooling. Food and drink were expensive in the restaurants, and portions were small. We went to Bali Collection mall for coffee and dinner, and had coconut juice from the warungs just outside the hotel.

Perfect hotel for young kids. Have lots of kids activities and the kids club is open from 9am till move night starting at 630 pm. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Lots of varieties for breakfast and lots of food options. Hotel has a long history but still well maintained. In general, very satisfied with our stay and nothing to complain about.

Location was fantastic. Pool amazing. Lots of things for children to do. Food was great.

Our room smelt a bit musty, like there had been a flood or something was damp. Also construction going on until 9pm at night

The hotel was beautiful with a fabulous foyer and grounds, including stepping stones over water, lovely plants and temples. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food and the spa was amazing. Lovely pool area and beach was lovely. Lots of choice at breakfast and music playing on the way into breakfast by a lovely man. Activities from 8am each day including yoga, stretching, water basketball and crafts to name a few. My daughter and I did the traditional crafts on a few afternoons which was lovely we made an offering basket and found out what each part was for, created birds from coconut leaves and created a piece of art work carving on a dried leaf. There are two pool tables in the top bar which were free to use then paid sports such as paddle tennis ( we were bed and breakfast not all inclusive)

When we first arrived our a/c didn’t work in the room and it smelt in the bathroom, an engineer was sent to fix the a/ c and cleaners to sort the smell we went to reception and asked to be moved which they did ,the room after that was nice with no smell. We saw people who were in ‘the level’ arrive to flowers garlands it would have been nice for all guests to arrive to this.

Beautifully designed complex; romantic garden and lighting. Room spacious, comfortable and quiet. Staff exceptionally service-minded, helpful and kind. Great spa and yoga in the morning.

Limited selection of local food - don’t want to go to Bali for pizza. Should be a separate swimming pool for swimming instead of a large leisure pool as now, full of jumping children and large groups of young adults. Actual beach bit disappointing because of lack of opportunity to swimming. Difficult to appreciate local culture.

A very well managed resort with many great features and unique touches. The room was very clean and well presented. Staff were universally friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast Buffet was ok, although pretty underwhelming particularly compared to other 5 star properties in the area. The food and drink prices in general were pretty outrageous, especially given the very low cost of Labour. It felt like the resort was gauging anyone that hadn't bought the all inclusive package. The rooms need a tech update not a single USB outlet to be seen. The contents of the large pump style amenities in the bathroom were so old that that they had separated and couldn't be used, so we walked to Bali Collection to buy something from the pharmacy.

Facilities were clean and immaculately presented. Staff were very helpful and courteous. We tried all the restaurants and all the food was great. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and we received two birthday cakes and other treats which was unexpected. It is the little things.

The Wi-Fi was patchy at times causing connections to break. If you used the beach facilities you were approached constantly by locals trying to sell bracelets which we understand but it became annoying at times. Aware they are closing in October 2024 for a refurbishment which may address the Wi-Fi issues.

Lovely authentic Balinese style. Clean and well appointed. Unfortunately upon arrival I came down with a bad virus. The hotel’s onsite dr paid a room visit and was so thorough, kind and helpful. I was diagnosed with Influenza A and given antibiotics and other meds. Whilst my trip didn’t go to planned it was so helped enormously by the kind staff at Melia who called on my regularly and dropped tea, and get well soon cards. My kids loved the buffet, the pool and the kids club. It will be great to see it again after the renovations because some aspects were a little old but it didn’t bother us. The kids club staff were so lovely and attentive.

It would be great to see filtered water stands around the property to easily refilled water bottles. I found it cumbersome to always ask for/wait for the complimentary glass water bottles.
