Beautiful design leading to a wonderful setting. Nice private space Beautiful bar view over the entrance. Very helpful staff. Special shout to Ein. Hope I got that right as I did not have my glasses on when trying to get the name off the badge. She was really upbeat and tried very hard to remember every detail of everyone staying.

The villa we were allocated was directly behind the scooter shed and beach road. Extremely noisy and particularly early. One morning someone was doing some hammer work at 4:45am. Day 1 and 2 decent housekeeping, this deteriorated as the stay went on. I felt for the staff as this was one of those resorts where a great deal of the guests all thought they were special and I witnessed some just plain rude, demanding and arrogant individuals who thought they could be just that. The consequence unfortunately was that whilst every available effort was made trying to keep those people accommodated this then creates a surplus for those who simply don't push. It depressed me enough to reconsider my holiday choices.

Everything about it, it was exceptional! From the staff to the location to the food it was all amazing and I couldnt recommend it more.

We had a great stay at Amarterra. Spacious private pool-Villas with very pleasant design. Super friendly staff and great restaurant! Restaurant crew is also very considerate regarding food allergies.

Even though it is very clean, there are some very minor improvement possibilities for housekeeping (e.g. not changing the customers a/c setting, not removing hand towels without being asked for etc.). But these are very minor points - everything else was perfect and high class.

A quiet and well laid out set of pool villas. Lovely gardens and huge public pool. Restaurant has in and outdoor dining and overlooks peaceful reflection ponds. Staff all uber friendly and helpful. Possible to walk dirty back alley to beach but a shuttle is offered hourly to special fenced, serviced Amarterra beachclub area. Villas are huge and pool area is generous.

We didn’t feel that ‘real’ Indonesian food was on offer. While Westerners might worry about chilli and heat, some tasty options would be appreciated. We tried a range of curries and dishes like nasi goreng which were bland and there was sense they were cooked well ahead and somewhat reheated. Some chef training in order perhaps. We didn’t want to eat out but felt we had no option.

The villa was beautiful and perfect for our family of three (with two year old child). We spent many hours swimming in our pool and enjoying sitting outside in the cabana. The staff were incredibly attentive and very friendly and made the stay extra special for us. The location was good although we had a scooter so were able to get around pretty easily.

The pool was under construction for the week we stayed, which was a real shame as it killed the vibe of the hotel and meant everyone pretty much stayed in their villas. It meant the spa was out of action and yoga was done in a separate villa (not by the pool). It was also hard with our son as we were hoping he could have a communal place to swim and play with the other kids. We were able to go to the Ritz Carlton and use their facilities which was beautiful, but not very convenient. I think the property should have let us know before arriving that the pool was out of order and possibly offered a discount. I’m sure when the pool is all finished it will be fantastic however it is the reason I haven’t given the stay 10 stars.

Our stay at Amartera Villa Collection in Bali was nothing short of brilliant. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a team of staff who were not only professional but also incredibly kind, personable, and attentive. The villa itself was stunning—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and exuding an exotic charm that perfectly captured the spirit of Bali. It exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. A big thank-you to the hotel manager, Julian, whose leadership was evident in the seamless service and warm atmosphere created by the team. His dedication to excellence made our stay all the more special. We also especially wanted to thank the following staff members: Nani for her memorable Jamu making class, restaurant staff: Sudi, Juwita, Liberta, Candra, Dita, Vidia and Ana; as well as Sani and Eka for their warm welcome and greetings when we arrived. We know there are many other amazing staff members whose names we may have missed, but we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for their hard work and contributions to making our stay so special. Completely relaxing, very very well taken care of by the wonderful attentive staff who were extremely gracious and kind. This place has a very zen calm energy. The villas offer complete privacy and your own space to relax indoors and outdoors. The main pool is also beautiful and a calm serene space. All the staff are wonderful. The villas are extremely comfortable. This was my 2nd trip to Amarterra after spending time in Ubud. Last time stayed in the Deluxe 1 bed Villa which is a little more contemporary. I really liked the 1 bedroom villa as it felt more traditional with the pool pavilion to relax under and loved the Frangipani trees along the pool. The service is exceptional and the location and villas offer a calm peaceful sanctuary. The beach is completely stunning.

Leaving :-( can't wait to go back.

Amarterra Villas was the best way to finish our holidays in Bali. Location is fantastic and walking distance to Bali collection where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The villas are just beautiful, we stayed in the 2 bedroom villas and it was amazing. The outside open area is great, the swimming pool is fantastic. We had a free bottle of rose with some nibbles on arrival, and the mini bar comes with free re-fill! Staff is great and welcoming. Even the General Manager Lami stopped at breakfast to say hi and introduce herself. There are also free bicycles for use. The Nusa Dua public beach is accessible from the back doors, but we also have access to the private beach Amarterra by the Bay with free pick up and drop off at any time.

Everything was great, except for mosquitoes - lots of them... but also we should have stayed longer... :-)

Armaterra offers a tiny beach club, at the very end of the beach, 10 Mins by car. It’s not the best part of the beach. All waste come s with the current and no one is swimming there. You are allowed to use the public beach, which is nice, very central and closer to Armaterra than the Beach club. Rooms are amazing, extremely friendly staff and top restaurant at the Hotel entrance. Room rates and breakfast rates are highend. The Nusa Dua Area is a gated community. Like a park made of hotels and a Golf Club. Armaterra is quite centrally located, in the middle of the Area.

No direct beach access. Therefore the prices are unreasonably high.

The Hotel is really great, the welcome ceremony added a very special touch to the stay. The villa was superb, big room, quiet, and the staff were amazing, smiling, always a good word here and there to make sure the stay is perfect. The breakfast was very well serviced. The private beach easy to access, even by walk, with great drinks. The spa was so relaxing. Special thanks to Alvin with the luggages and transportation arrangement to the beach, the mall, and the airport.
