The only thing better than staying at Samaja Beachside is staying at Samaja Beachside for the second time. My first visit was as a solo female traveller in 2023, and I'm writing this review after my second visit with my teenage son. On both occasions, the villas have been clean, comfortable and private. The food, the spa, and all the facilities have been top notch. Highly recommend the Mejejahitan experience early in a visit to experience some Balinese culture and language! The location is excellent, close to the beach and Bintang Supermarket as well as other facilities and attractions. But the real highlight of this lovely villa is the wonderful staff. Candra, Purnama and others here have consistently gone above and beyond to meet our needs and requests and make us feel welcome and comfortable. They also connected me with an excellent driver Dwi. Samaja Beachside is a home away from home for me. Suksma mewali, can't wait to come back!

The reception was manned 24/7

The property is located at the end of a very long alley that is not lit at night, I felt unsafe walking back to my room at night. Certainly not a safe environment for women.

My first solo trip since losing my husband last year.From the moment I arrived I was made to feel safe and looked after. The Villa was perfect size for one person.. Large bedroom and bathroom Well.located with plenty of good food options in next lane. Double six Beach only 5 min walk away. Own lap pool. Badic cooking amenities. Would definitely stay again and I will be back Far exceeded my expectations. Your own villa with a 5 star hotel quality service. Huge thank you to all the staff for making me feel so happy and at home.

Exceptional property with exceptional staff. I stayed alone and the pool was perfect, nice kitchen, larger bedroom with strong AC, large bathroom. Staff were attentive at all times.

Literally nothing

We loved everything about this Villa. The privacy was great. It was a quiet, convenient location off the busy road but still close to everything we needed with a shortcut to the beach and bars. For 2 people, it was perfect, and we had everything we needed with lounge, dining, kitchen, king-sized bed, day bed, shower, bath and toilet and private pool all inside your own enclosed walls. The staff were always attentive, helpful and pleasant.

The only thing we struggled a little with was the first step in and out of the pool, it was a big drop and a bit of a struggle to get out. A handle or grab rail would help. We worked around it, really minor issue in the grand scheme of things. 😊

All the staff were very polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them and we were always greeted with a smile. Staying in the villa provided us with privacy and it was very clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning worked well through out our stay. Quiet location but within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Slippery floor tiles in bathroom but they do provide you with slip resistant slippers.

It was clean and comfortable. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach as well as restaurants and shops. We loved that we had our own little private pool. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. We loved coming home each night to a clean room and a different beautiful note each night on our bed from the staff.

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable for me but that was minor and still had a good nights sleep.

Breakfast choices were nice, they tasted okay, too... the drinks were excellent, tho. Bed was large and really comfy, everything was super clean. There was an extra fee for the third person, but there was a large sofa bed, too, so no need to pay for an extra bed, just an extra person! Bathroom was really clean and vast, the towels were beach ones, meaning: large!! They were nice towels, too.

The pool needed extra work, the water was a bit murky, but it was clean. We still swam in it. The water was warm so it was really nice to soak in! This place needs new TV... Please provide smart TV and better wifi. The wifi connection kept stopping. That's it.

The location was perfect. Located down the end of a quiet lane, yet so close to fantastic swimming beach with great restaurants. The staff are amazing either way their care, smiles and information. We took advantage of the kitchen and ate a light breakfast from the local convenience store, though their yummy room service breakfast was ordered a number of times. The bedroom are so comfortable and cool.

The lane can be a scary in the beginning until you realise how safe everything is.

The staff were amazing. We prefer sun and our booked villa didn't get much so management moved us to a larger sunnier villa. we were involved in a cultural experience where we were taught cooking and made offerings, we were given a free breakfast, we were made special Balinese cakes all included in our stay. The villa was large and spacious, a beautiful pool, sunny, close to beach, restaurants, supermarket and busyness but very quiet, great having water cooler.
