Location was good, 8 minutes walking distance from hotel to Plaza Tunjungan 1. And there cafes available nearby. Grab is easy and fast to get.

The rotation of Hair Dryer. I cannot believe a big hotel like this doesn’t have enough hair dryer. When I first requested, the HK didn’t mention about returning it and WOKE ME UP at 6.20am just to ask for the hair dryer !!! Second time I requested, I was told to return it within 2 hours. Before 2 hours was up, HK called and asked if I’m done. Come on, it really irritates me!!

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Kampi. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, always happy to assist with any queries or requests. The room was big and bright with decent air condition. Housekeeping was every day with fresh bottled water! Breakfast had a good selection and the location is perfect for visiting local sites around Surabaya.

Sometimes there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming into our non smoking room which was a little annoying, and the corridor can be quite noisy. Other than that no issues at all.

Lovely new hotel at an excellent location. The reception and the door guys are very polite and responsive. Breakfast has a good spread of food and the porridge is my favorite. The huge and expansive Tunjungan Plaza is just few minutes walk and across the road. Cut through Pizza hut and aburger King road. Take the lift up to the overhead bridge. Many cafes and warongs or food stalls scattered around the Apsari Park with excellent local food. Will definitely return as it's value for money.

More hangers to hang clothes.

It’s close enough to busy Jalan Tunjungan but Kampi has a more friendly surrounding with greenary and Apsari Park nearby. The hotel food is quite good but if you want more, just outside the hotel there are many local food vendors as well as Western fast-food outlets.

My room on the 6th floor faces the busy Gaberno Suryo Street and it is noisy even till late at night. If you’re a light sleeper, take the garden facing room.

My review may be biased because the hotel went above and beyond to help us, more in a minute about that. The hotel is in a good location, close to a couple of malls (if that is your thing), and a good location to use as a jump off point for tours. They have a nice lobby to wait for your ride in. The hotel seems to handle a lot of tours and as such has a pretty complete menu to choose from. The restaurant is open early to late, has an expresso machine (!!!!) and seems to always be fully staffed. There are lots of plugs around the dinning room if you want to just go down and have a coffee and work. The room was clean, the shower had great water pressure and anything we needed they were very responsive to. Now, on our check out day, there was a big parade that closed down all the streets in the area and our taxi couldn’t make it to the hotel!!! The staff immediately recognized the situation and had two staff use their personal scooters to ferry us (and our luggage!) out of the area and meet the taxi (who they talked to and coordinated our pickup!). They saved us making our flight. Kudos to that staff.

The hotel was nice and had a small welcome snack ready, though I did reach quite late. The hotel surrounding is really lively, good for youngsters, many street food and stalls around. There are also restaurants if you do not prefer the street food setting. There is a inhouse café/restaurant just below the hotel as well. really nice atmosphere and there is a live band too. Overall cleanliness is good, toilets, beds, room etc., was clean.

It can be slightly noisy because it is a lively area, but I do not think it will affect much. The noise can be hardly heard in the room actually. Can just request for higher floors if you think it may bother you.

The best value stay in Surabaya. The breakfast selection is incredible and it is located in a strategic location. You can walk to Tunjungan plaza. I would definitely recommend anyone planning to stay in the city to try Kampi Hotel.

No mini fridge. Rooms don't really have any view

The receptionist at the was exceptional almost all of them. The staff who attended to me at check in and check is the same lady...please convey my thanks to her. She even remembers my room number. The location is great.

Customer smoke in the restaurant . The furnitures looks a bit worn out. My window has minimum view. No comfortable sofa at waiting areas, just wooden stool.

Friendly staff and super delicious breakfast with a range of food. Again, the food is so good. The room is good too, small but comfortable for two people. The bed and bathroom are good too. Aircon a bit noisy but the hotel is located close to Tunjungan Plaza and we love it so much. I will comeback again whenever visit Surabaya as the location also close to train station as well. The Cafe/restaurant is so instagramable 🤗

Very noisy until late night, but i can still sleep. Maybe need better sound insulation if the management care.

Location was the best offered by this Hotel. Close to one of biggest mall in the city, i.e., Tunjungan Plaza. The room was not really spacious, but it was clean. Aminities were complete. Unfortunately, I did not have the meal, because it was during Islamic fasting month, even though they offered midnite meal at the restaurant.

I had no complaint so far. Room was not really spacious, but still ok. Sometimes, it was noise from the outside, but i did not disturb my rest.
