We stayed for seven nights in two separate rooms that were next door to each other. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We asked for an extra pillow and they were obliging. The resort is beautiful. It is very spacious and does not feel overcrowded at all. It was very easy to get a pool lounger or swim on your own in the pool. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. They keep the place looking spotless. A lovely extra was the outside bathroom. There is a menu choice at breakfast and it is cooked fresh to order so you might need to wait a little while if you arrive after another family. The hotel has its own on site spa which we used for a Balinese massage and was easy to book on the day. The hotel is located outside the of 'Ubud strip' and is a 10/15 -minute walk to the main centre or easy to get a grab bike there and back. Don't use cars to get around or Ubud. It's just not worth the wait in traffic. You are very close to the start of the ridge walk which has some beautiful restaurants nearby. The hotel has some lovely restaurants. Very close. Only a couple of minutes walk away if you do not want to go into the bustling centre. It was very good value for money. They will also sort your laundry out if you leave it at reception.

There was some noise from some construction in the local area but there is construction happening all over Ubud so not really in particular this hotel.

Loved the peaceful garden setting with two beautiful pools to laze around. Loction was very convenient for accessing Ubud central either by foot or via a quick taxi ride. Also close to some great coffee, restaurants and rice field walks. Stayed here with kids aged 12 and 15 and two parents. Had rooms next to each other which was perfect! The accomodation is spread out across the site and we mostly felt like we had the place to outselves even though it was peak season. Sitting by the pool watching local birdlife in the landscaped gardens was a tonic.

Place is just awesome. You just need a place in nature to relax, this is it. This is great place. Bathroom is spacious and with bathtub. The room is spacious. 24×7 reception services. They helped us before we reached to hotel as there were payment issues, they understood and didn't cancel our booking. The on chat services are also good with asap responses. They provided us good driver too.

There is no dine in or restaurant of hotel as mentioned by them. We were dependent on them for dinner. 1st day we had to eat local food which might be dangerous for tourist as they are not used to have Bali food. We had to search for hotels near by latenight. Lights are dim througout resort. In room there should be white lights too as and when needed people can use them. In day time, there is no issue. But during evening or night time we need proper lights, as there are many frogs and lizards which we might kill if not visible.

Excellent hotel, green area, two swimming pools, excellent breakfast, the staff is polite, they always smile. An atmosphere of complete harmony and tranquility. Cafes, shops, currency exchange nearby 10-15 minutes. Good location of the hotel, there is where to go for a walk. To the monkey forest 30 min. I liked everything very much. Thank you for your hospitality! I will definitely come back to you again😌🙏

Have stayed here before multiple times. A solid 3 star resort. Serene grounds. Comfortable spacious rooms. Many excellent vegan restaurants within the vicinity of this hotel. Short walk to the Campuhan walk. On the outskirts of Ubud, which suited us, but it isn't a good location if you want to be close to central Ubud shopping/markets.

Traffic in Ubud has increased dramatically over the past 5 years. It can be difficult/slow to taxi to restaurants etc

De Munut is a gem. It's very conveniently located next to Penestanen and not too far of a walk from Ubud's center. The street it's on is pretty noisy, but the sound of cars and scooters fades away as you enter the lush grounds. Large, clean, western style rooms with cold AC and hot water. Two beautiful pools. Wish we got to stay here longer.

The pillows were too tall and firm. Having a second, less thick pillow on each bed would have helped us sleep easier, but the beds are otherwise very comfortable.

I love the garden, the greenery, the pool is beautiful. Didnt have the chance to swim thou due to our busy schedule. I like the room, its spacious. My favourite is the toilet because its has small garden and open ceiling. The chelet a bit old but the facility is acceptable. Fridge, coffee tea, towels, toiletries

Almost like nothing that i dont like, probably its time to do some touch up on the building. Painting and scrape off the weed

This is the perfect place to stay in Ubud - close to the centre, very beautiful hotel, 2 pools, every person who works there is nice and friendly, very tasty breakfasts and specious room with terrace. Also, the SPA is good there. We've had an amazing time in this hotel! If we'll ever return to Bali, we'll stay there!

We liked everything)

Everything was great: staff, massages, the greenery area and swim pools (there are two swim pools), except the street noise. But I am very sensitive to noises. And towels had a strange smell. In reality the hotel is much nicier than in photos. The breakfast is simple but exactly what you need to start your day. The location is perfect.
