My week at Gerebig was exactly what I needed to start off my trip to Bali. Ibu Kadek and all of the staff were great. Excellent communications and responsiveness. Staff can help with rides, tickets to Kecak dance, laundry, excursion suggestions, etc. I landed in Bali at 1am and they arranged for a pickup in advance from airport and took me directly to my room. So reassuring after an exhausting flight. . Very warm welcome. Breakfast was a highlight each day deciding how I wanted to start off my day. Many options. The grounds are expansive and lovely. The location in Penestanan is a short walk outside of Ubud Center ( honestly, faster to walk than sit in Ubud traffic). So much quieter and less traffic than in town and I loved the neighborhood and all of the pedestrian walkways throughout to get around where I wanted to go. I only swam in the pool twice but the setting was also so lovely. The rates for the week were very reasonable. I have no complaints I did not have AC, but some rooms have it. I didn't need it. . Stay at Gerebig for a warm and friendly, familial introduction to Ubud.

We loved our stay here! From the beautiful surroundings (plants and flowers everywhere), amazing pool and very cozy bungalow, the real highlight is Kadek and her team who made us feel very welcome and gifted us a great vacation. Thank you Kadek!

The bungalow is not super modern, but we found it only made it more charming.

We had the 2 bedroom bungalow for our 5 teenage children & my partner & I had a room which was private & spacious. The gardens were amazing and we loved that the property was in traditional Balinese style. They offer a good range of breakfast options & have a lovely pool. Our rooms also had a kitchen. The staff were lovely & helpful. It is located down a quiet lane way & is very peaceful, it is about a 50m walk from the road. Our driver just pulled in at the next property with a driveway about 10m down to pick up & drop us off. It is located in a great neighbourhood with plenty of easy to walk to eateries & spas, with just a short walk down a hill to the hustle & bustle of downtown Ubud.

The apartment was great, spacious and clean. One of the standout things for me is that it's closed instead of many open buildings in the area. So if you keep your door closed well, you will barely have problems of any mosquitos, so you don't even need to use your mosquito net. Aside from that the staff is super friendly, it's very private, but at the same time very well located, right next to Alchemy. Perhaps I should not praise it too much, because it's a hidden gem, but the people over there deserve all the credit. Thank you for a great stay, will definitely be back.

I really had a great time. Nothing comes to mind.

All the staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The accommodation is in a great location so many yummy restaurants close by. The breakfast provided each morning was great and fresh and it gets delivered to your villa in the mornings. We used the laundry service and I was so surprised at how quickly it was washed, folded and delivered to us (it smelt amazing too!). We used the pool and it was a great temperature it was so quiet most of the time we were the only ones in there. I would be happy to stay here again.

There was no air-con but honestly this didn’t bother us as they had provided us with fans and this was enough for us.

Kadek's place was the perfect spot for discovering busy Ubud. A bit on the outskirts of the city yet only a 15' walk away from the noisy centre. We enjoyed the quietness of this hidden gem, the luxuriant garden, the refreshing swimming pool, the large rooms and most of all the encounters with Kadek. We felt welcomed each time we passed the kitchen of the front lobby. Kadek helped us organise our 48h stay in Ubud and made reservations for us so we could enjoy downhill cycling, a massage, cooking class or an incredible sunday evening buffet at the Yellow Flower. So easy! Thanks again Kadek.

Nice Breakfast. Superfriendly Staff. Every Bungalow with an own Green garden. Like an botanical garden. 2 yoga Studios close by (1min and 4 min walk)

EXCELLENT Breakfasts each morning!! Got to choose main and also fresh juice drink. Thank you to Kadek and your lovely team. Also Kadek was super helpful in helping us figure out which things we wanted to do in Ubud. Thank you SO much! We stayed in 2 bedroom bungalow. One bedroom on 1st floor and other on 2nd floor. Bathroom on 1st. Kitchen outside around corner (but still attached to our private bungalow.) Basic facilities (no AC and older buildings/fixtures) but well maintained/cleaned. Don't expect luxury but a great basic place to stay. LOVELY pool (shared). Comfortable water temperature and surrounded by lush bush. Great back walkways to get to grocery store without having to walk on busy main road. Property about 100-200m off main road so don't hear any traffic and quite secluded.

Not as conducive for cooking with small kitchen and not many dishes/utensils. However, not needed with the great breakfasts and so much good cheap food around. Also had a great fridge to keep any leftovers. No parking lot which was only an issue if trying to meet driver. Generally easy to get Grab or other taxi services as can wait at the roadside and they can pull to the side.

Wonderful place!!! And the host was amazing. So kind and helpful. Location was great. You can eat, do yoga, go to the supermarket without ever going on the main streets. So much green beauty surrounds the area. You will love it here! I highly recommend Gerebig Bungalows to anyone coming to Ubud!!

Beautiful gardens. Felt secluded even though the main road was close by. Basic room, but spacious and clean - great value for money. I arrived late and Ketut met me out the front and guided me along the alleyways. Very helpful, friendly staff. Lent me a phone charger for the week when mine broke.
