Our stay at Vila Nirvana was memorable. The spacious private villa with its own pool offered a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. The garden shrine added a touch of Balinese culture, while the open-air bathroom enhanced the exotic experience. The staff went above and beyond for my wife's birthday, collaborating with me on a surprise celebration, decorating the bed, and providing a complimentary birthday cake with candles - a gesture that made our stay extra special. We loved having breakfast served in our villa and appreciated the golf cart service to navigate the car-free zone. Overall, waking up to our beautiful private pool each morning brightened our entire Ubud experience!

Excellent facilities and service, great spacious rooms, private pool and pool area. It’s a walk into town but we liked the area and the ambience of the area, and there are excellent restaurants and cafes very close by. And getting a taxi either into or from town is easy. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Don’t miss the short walk out to the padi fields.

Not a big deal - the only thing I can think of. The exterior aircon unit of our neighbours villa was close to our villa, and if they had the aircon all night it was noticeable if you happened to wake.

Firstly the staff were exceptional! So friendly, accommodating, attentive and lovely! We regularly used room service/the restaurant/laundry service/massages and it was all great. The villa was even more beautiful than the photos show, it really felt like being dropped in paradise. The one bedroom villa with private pool is perfect for couples, felt like an idyllic love nest. The location was great, a 5/10 minute walk to Ubud center via the pretty Penestanan stairs. We found that Grab was the easiest way to get around, we always got a driver within 5 minutes and it was cheap. A good tip is to book a pick up from Cafe Vespa, a nearby lovely cafe, as the villa is on a pedestrianised street. Overall I definitely recommend Villa Nirvana for a quiet, beautiful and convenient place to stay in the heart of Ubud.

Nothing! We were only sad we had to leave!

- The location of the villa is great (slight discreet, away from noisy street, 10-15mins walk to Main Street) - Villa looks exactly the same with the photos, pools are big and clean - Breakfast is included in the package - Balinese spa is great - Friendly staffs that accommodates to your requests (there was once we booked spa at 7pm, however due to traffic, we were late, the staff stayed back for us) - Good house keeping and turn down service

- No shelter from walk of entrance to villa - Breakfast choices was limited - Wifi for TV is weak, usually cannot load tv channels and other apps like Youtube videos - Bed linen will change every 3 days only for eco-friendly (but can be changed daily upon request) - Certain staffs do not understand English, have to use translator or wait for other staffs - Bath tub is open aired, always dirty with leaves and dirt, don't think of using it daily or during rainy weather - Limited toiletries, certain toiletries will not be refilled from daily housekeeping unless requested from reception

Breakfast was simple but tasty. The room was lovely and the one we had including the pool was completely private behind high walls. Not all villas had the same level of privacy. There were a number of good places to eat on the laneway (referred to below) and a number of great restaurants near by on the main road such as Dumbo, Arcadia and Mozaic (very pricey by Bali standards but still good value by Australian standards for a 9 course degustation with extra canapes etc.)

Staff were not always present on the desk - and we missed breakfast one day as there was no one around. The villas fronts a laneway that was not accessible by car. There was a golf cart to meet our taxi on arrival (in torrential rain). Would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. The laneway where it meets the main road is a long set of steps. However, being on this laneway was a welcome relief from the very noise traffic of Ubud.

The property was gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. Ubud can be loud in the tourist areas and I liked that casa couldn’t go down the street where the villa is located so it provided peace. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Jenny and the other staff were so sweet to our two kids. There’s an awesome yoga spot (10 Mins walk) and coffee shop (4 mins walk) nearby.

The room was big as well as the pool. Staff are lovely. The location is good and bad at the same time. It is 15 minutes away from the city centre, but u have to go through the steps, which could be a little slippery and dark at night.

Best dragon fruit and banana smoothie! We loved the location of Villa Nirvana.. in a village just on the edge of busy Ubud x

This is not the property’s fault but the neighbors who lived directly behind our villa had dog’s barking every night which was quite annoying.

Very comfortable place with privacy.We had a one bedroom villa with private pool. Very clean, the service was excellent. Daily balinese massage worth the money.

Without car acces.

Small but good enough. Value for money. Wonderful staff. Place well maintained, managed n runs by nice staff.

A bit out of the way, or maybe most time the traffic was bad. But again for popular tourist destinations traffic is always bad so is still bearable if not rushing for time.
