The best of the best place I have ever visit in bali .The place is likes home ,the breakfast is 10/10 each day is different.The people was so nice ,the visa is secluded on 5-10 minuets walk from the central .I was so fit haha.You open your windows and fresh air is came up ,only seconds walk to rice ridge.I can’t recommend this place enough.I will stay again and again and again if I visit bali .

This place is in the middle of the rice field, approximately 1.5 km from Ubud Central. You can’t drive to the villa but staff is more than villing to pick you up and drop you off by scooter to Ubud central at any given time. It’s really quite and peaceful place where you get to experience authentic Balinese people and culture. I really enjoyed staying here. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they helped me book various tours around Bali and even gave me discounts for being a guest, I can highly highly recommend planning your trip with the staff as they can help you with organizing everything and give you discounts. Breakfast is super delicious, pool was nice and there is room service every day.

The villa is surrounded by rice fields, so you are literally fully immersed in nature. It is a family-run place and both the owner and his sons are very kind and helpful. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom has a big shower with hot and cold water. A/C works very well and the bed has a mosquito net. Lovely breakfast served in the little terrace of your bungalow. Greatly appreciated the transfer by motorbike to and from the main road, which otherwise is about 20 minutes on foot, but very scenic!

The mosquito net needs to be washed/changed. The tiles of the pool need to be fixed. Perhaps a little more attention to detail.

This is a beautiful property located just 5minutes by a grab or scooter outside of central Ubud. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. We had breakfast included with our stay but we had many activities that started very early morning so the staff accommodated to this and made us tea and breakfast outside of normal serving times. Our room had a beautiful koi pond just outside the door and the view of the pool, could not have asked for a better room. Our room was cleaned daily and left spotless. We will definitely be coming back year and year again.

Nothing, just be aware you will need to book a grab or get a scooter to get to this hotel. But this isn’t even a negative because you can enjoy the jungle views from the scooter! Also they offer a pick up and drop off service from Ubud central parking which is really helpful

Actually, i liked everything over there, it was a perfect journey, there was nothing to camplaint about.

We stayed a week here and loved it. The location was perfect amongst the rice fields and away from noisy roads. Breakfast was outstanding - something new every day and always delicious. The pool was a great bonus to cool off in (though a bit of repair work on some floor tiles was needed at the time). Mozzies are a challenge here because of the rice fields and our net had several large holes in it resulting in a couple of sleepless nights, but the owner kindly had these repaired one day while we were out. If you like quiet and peaceful and enjoy walking, it’s a great choice.

A little maintenance needed on the pool floor and some new mozzie nets would help to refresh the room but these are pretty minor - it’s a great place to stay. 😊

Too many mosquitoes in the room would benefit from sprays to get rid of it . They did provide mosquitoe net. Property was unkempt.....long grass, which could be the reason for mosquitoes. Pillows were uncomfortable Management needs to give staff more hospitality lessons.

I stayed here 4 years ago, before covid started, loved it so much, promised myself to go back next year! but covid changed my plans.. was so excited to finally get back to Taman Bintang villa this time! the place is so calm, so peaceful, and so beautiful! wifi, AC - all works good they provide you with 3 towels and all the bathroom accessories including toothbrushes breakfasts are very good: fruits, veggies, eggs, toast, coffee (or tea if you prefer) and a nice smoothie! pool is clean, there are sun beds near to the pool. also there is a pond with the koi carps

Loved this place so much. Simply perfect. The surrounding rice fields are unbelievably beautiful and if you're up for hiking a little north you can even get to a forest. At night, when falling asleep, you hear an orchestra of the nocturnal Balinese animal world with various insects, birds and frogs/toads, but none of the city noises. Staff was very friendly as well. Breakfast was good but nothing to write home about. The lunch and dinner options on the road from Ubud town, around the "art market", are some of the best warungs in Ubud. While there are lots of insects and especially mosquitoes in the evenings, the bed had a mosquito net so no problem.

No water filter or canister around so you always have to buy water bottles in town. No possibility to refill your own bottle. Ubud itself is completely overrun with tourists and very commercial. In some spots it feels like an outdoor shopping mall for the wannabe spiritual and unaware party crowd. It's the perfect case study for how overtourism ruins a place. But that has nothing to do with this accommodation - in fact because it's 20 minutes walk out of town, you get to enjoy peace and quiet. Just be aware that Ubud is overtourism hell.

This was one of my favorite stays during my travels through SE Asia. The location in the rice fields very peaceful and quiet, no scooter noise only nature sounds. Being able to roam in the rice fields was wonderful. It is still an easy walk to town, grab is always available within minutes, and the warungs within walking distance offer great food and views. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the room was comfortable, spacious, and bright with an amazing bed and shower. I slept really well here.
